Karaoke

“Don’t go breaking my heart,”

“I couldn’t if I tried.”

Sin rolled his eyes as Maya and Chad sang in front of us. We were sitting on the couch waiting patiently for our turn. After breakfast Maya so graciously invited herself over bringing Chad. I had to throw on a pair of Sin’s oversized sweatpants.

The moment she walked in there was non stop insulting of his singing skills. Which made Sin take it upon himself to challenge her in a karaoke battle. Maya decided she wanted to do a duet with Chad after, which is how I got roped into this against my will.

“So don’t go breaking my heart.” He smiled at her.

She fanned her face. “I won’t go breaking your heart.”

“God they’re horrible.” Sin fake gagged. I laughed slapping his shoulder.

“Funny, you both sing just alike.” I smiled at him, he glared.

Chad finished off their duet fist bumping each other. Sin hopped up from the couch snatching the mic from Maya. “Watch and learn how it's done.” We hadn’t discussed what song we were doing but I trusted him to pick something I’d know. He walked over to the machine scrolling through the songs. Apparently one of his college buddies let him have it before he left, this is the first time he’s been able to use it.

Chad handed me his mic as Sin came and stood next to me. I waited for the music to start. I burst out laughing the moment I heard the beat. Maya picked a beautiful love song and this is what he chooses? He looked over at me, a huge grin on his face as he started singing. “Whatcha gon do with all that junk, all that junk inside your trunk.” He reached around and slapped my ass.

“I’ma get get get get you drunk, get you love drunk off my hump. My hump my hump my hump my hump my hump my hump my lovely little lumps.” I stood in front of him, placing a hand on my hip. “I drive these brothers crazy, I do it on the daily. They treat me really nicely, they buy me all these ices.”

Sin placed a gold chain around my neck from behind. I rolled my eyes as I continued singing, someone was prepared. “They say they love my ass in, seven jeans, true religion I say no but they keep giving.” I danced around the makeshift dance floor in front of the TV. Sin watched me laughing. “My humps they got you.”

He brought his mic to his mouth, walking towards me. “She’s got me spending,”

I placed my hand on his chest “Spending all your money on me,” I looked at an invisible watch on my wrist, “and spending time on me.”

“Whatcha gon do with all that junk, all that junk inside that trunk.” I laughed when he placed his hands on his knees pretending to twerk.

“I’ma get get get get you drunk, get you love drunk off my hump.”

He leaned around looking at my ass. "Whatcha gonna do with all that ass, all that ass inside your jeans."

I spun around until I was in front of him, rubbing my ass against his crotch. “I’m a make make make make you scream, make you scream make you scream.” We both laughed as the music was suddenly turned off.

“I did not come here to watch you guys have sex in front of me.” Maya shook her head at us.

“Haters gonna hate.” Sin shrugged.

“Time for Blaire’s solo song.” Earlier they all did a solo song. I was too shy to perform by myself, but now I have no choice. I walked over to the machine looking through my options. Sin sat on the couch by himself. I got an idea when I passed by a certain song. Time to give them a show. I clicked it going to stand a few feet away from Sin. He raised an eyebrow at me, just as the song started. He sat forward laughing. “Oh, this is going to be good.”

“I’m just a bachelor, looking for a partner.” I sang into the mic, “Someone who knows how to ride, without even falling off.” I flipped my hair to the left as I rolled my body. “Gotta be compatible, takes me to my limits.” I slowly walked towards him, placing one foot in front of the other, dragging my hand up the side of my body. “Sin when I break you off, I promise that you won’t want to get off.” I threw my leg up on the side of his chair. “If you’re horny, lets do it, ride it, my pony.” I used my hand that wasn’t holding the mic to raise my shirt up a little, showing him my stomach. His eyes darkened as he watched me, he was no longer laughing.

“My saddle’s, waiting, come and, jump on it.” I thrust my hips back and forward in his face, dry humping the air in front of him. He gripped the ends of the chair.

“What the hell is wrong with you two?” Maya laughed, once again turning the music off.

Sin grabbed me, pulling me on his lap. I could feel how much my dance excited him. “Now I have to take a cold shower, you little minx.”

“It was your idea to sing in the first place.” I giggled as he tickled my sides.

“That was seduction not singing.” He growled. I squirmed around on his lap, trying to get away from his hands.

“Let me show you guys the appropriate way to do karaoke.” Maya said. 24k magic started as we watched her.

SINS POV

I watched Blaire from the kitchen as I made every one sandwiches. I don’t know how I got stuck on lunch duty, but I am. She laughed as her and Maya danced around singing. I smiled seeing the joy on her face. “Man, you’re sprung.” Chad laughed walking into the kitchen.

I smirked at him. “I wouldn’t talk.” I noticed the way he’s been looking at Maya all day. I knew they were dating, but that was the look of love on his face.

He shrugged, “Need some help?”

“Yeah, can you cut the crust off that sandwich? Blaire doesn’t like the crust.”

“Whipped.” He coughed into his hand.

My phone vibrated in my back pocket, I pulled it out seeing my mothers name pop up. I thought about ignoring her, but I knew she wouldn’t stop calling. “Hello?”

I heard sniffing on the other end. “Sin? Is Blaire with you?” My body went rigid.

“Yes, what’s going on Mom?” I really hope she wasn’t going to say what I was thinking.

She started to cry softly. “It’s Melinda, she’s dead.”
