Something Special

I woke up to the sound of music. I frowned, winching when I tried to sit up. God, I think he was trying to kill me. I looked over noticing his side of the bed was empty. The music got louder, calling for my attention. I sat my feet on the floor relishing in the feel of the carpet. I grabbed Sin’s discarded shirt off the floor slipping it on. I walked/wobbled my way to the bedroom door pulling it open.

My eyes widened at the sight before me. The living room was covered in flowers and chocolate. White rose petals littered the floor, my favorite kind. I looked around for Sin but didn’t see him nowhere insight. The patio door was open and I realized that’s where the music was coming from.

I walked over peering down at the parking lot below. There was a crowd of people gathered around a car. A car I noticed belonged to my best friend. But that’s not what caught my attention, it was Sin standing in the center of it all holding a guitar. What the hell was going on?

He smiled up at me, and that’s when the music started. “I don’t want another pretty face, I don’t want just anyone to hold. I don’t want my love to go to waste, I want you and your beautiful soul.” I could feel the moisture gathering at my eyes as he sang up to me. Sure he was offkey and sounded horrible, but it was still so beautiful. “I know, that you, are something special. To you, I’d be, always faithful. I want, to be, what you always needed. Then I hope you’ll see, the heart in me. I don’t want another pretty face.”

The crowd swayed and cheered as he continued to sing. While I was trying to stop my heart from jumping out of my chest. He did all of this for me? Maya stepped out the car holding a lighter up. I rolled my eyes. “You might, need time, to think it over. But I’m, just fine, moving forward. I’ll ease your mind, if you give me the chance. I will never make you cry, c’mon let’s try.” He pointed the end of the guitar at me. I didn't know he could play guitar, I didn't even know he owned one. “You’re the one I wanna chase, you’re the one I wanna hold. I won’t let another minute go to waste.” I didn’t hear the rest as I ran from the patio. I didn’t need to hear anymore. I knew what I wanted.

I rushed down the steps making my way to the parking lot. Sin stood there with his arms open waiting patiently for me. I launched myself in them, laughing as I pulled him close. “I love you so much.”

I felt his hands tugging on the end of my shirt. “I know you do, otherwise you wouldn’t be showing your ass to the whole crowd.” He laughed. I blushed as he started walking, most likely taking me back upstairs.

“Have fun you two!” Maya called out from behind us. I waved at her as she got in her car. I loved my best friend, I knew she had something to do with this. She was the only one that knew of my secret obsession with Jessie McCartney.

Sin sat on the couch placing me on his lap. “Who was all those people that I flashed?” I blushed.

He shook his head at me. “Just my neighbors, that I now have to kill because they seen too much of my girl.” He brushed my hair back from my face. He was right, I was his girl again.

"And who did all this?" I referred to the flowers and chocolate.

"Maya helped me do it." It was a heart warming gesture, but there was no way I'd be able to eat all of this. There had to be at least ten boxes of chocolate.

“Well, at least now I know you’re not much of a singer,” I smirked.

“And now I know you have bad taste in music,”

I glared at him, “There is nothing wrong with my taste in music.”

I wrapped my arms around his neck hugging him. “I’m sorry.”

His arms circled around my back. “For what?”

“I shouldn’t have broken up with you.” I needed him, and somewhere in the back of my mind I always knew that.

“Damn right you shouldn’t have.” He pinched my butt. My stomach growled disrupting the moment. He laughed, “damn I think I might breakup with you this time. You eat way too much.”

I leaned back punching his chest. “Wouldn’t be so hungry if you didn’t have me burning all these calories.” I was still sore, and running down the steps didn’t help. I reached over picking up a box of chocolates. Sin snatched them from me.

"Food first," He smirked at my pouting face. He got up setting me on the floor as he made his way to the kitchen. “what you want to eat?”

“Can you make French toast?” I asked excitedly following him.

“Only if you help.”
