Six: leaving

I'm in the kitchen with my aunt Ava drinking coffee. I looked up at her and there was a sad look on her face "What's wrong?" I asked. "Nothing. I'm just going to miss you is all." "I'll bring him here when I find him. How does that sound to you?" I told her. "Sounds perfect." I smiled at her and she smiled back. I heard footsteps coming down the stairs and I turned to look and it was my Uncle Eric and my cousins. I had a sad smile on my face. They looked at me with confusion on their faces. I nodded my head towards the chairs at the table for them to sit so I can explain. Once they sat down I cleared my throat. "I leaving today after breakfast. I had a dream about my mate last night. He told me where to find him. Uncle Eric did you contact the Alpha of the pack like you said?" I asked. "Yes I did. He gave his permission for you to cross the territory line." He said. I nodded my head in acknowledgement. "That's good. I have to start leaving soon. I have to be there before midnight. That's when he'll show up at the field." I told them. I know this sucks. "Just be safe. We will help you if you need us. We are a mind-link away. We love you, Mary." Uncle Eric said and Aunt Ava and Eric Jr and Zoey nodded their heads in agreement. I had tears running down my face and they all came around me to hug me into a group hug. "I'll bring him here when I find him." "You better little missy. We'll be here." Aunt Ava said. I grinned at her. Of course there were some other murmurs of agreement with her. I giggled at them and pulled away. "I better leave now or I'll miss him at the field. I love you guys so much. And thank you for letting me stay here for a bit." "Of course. We'll see you soon." They all said at once. I ran upstairs to make sure I didn't miss anything. I grabbed my suitcase and went back downstairs to put it in my truck. I looked back and saw that everyone was outside waving goodbye to me. I waved back and got into my truck. I looked at my mirrors to make sure that it was how I set them, put on my seatbelt and stared the truck and put it in drive and started driving to where my mate was.
