Chapter 63

I have always resented her from the day she bullied you and still today because of a reason you don’t know. I wanted her to tell you everything but since she didn’t I will tell you.

The beeping of my phone got my attention, as I stretched my hand from the comfort of my sofa got a hold of the phone. There were several text messages and immediately I read it seeing the name.

Chelsea: Hey Ace

I am sorry I was not able to pick up your calls.

But I know that you are disturbed with the news headlines of us getting engaged.

I am really sorry for that and I promise I will talk to my dad about it. I am sure there was a misunderstanding.

I shall get back to you in a day. Let’s meet up so that we could sort things out.

"What is it?"

"You told me that you know about Chelsea,"

As I said that, she looked to her front stopping her action with Hitler. Hitler, on the other hand, took it her chance to jump off her lap and made its way towards Shadow, sitting next to him as he played with his toy.

"Yes, I do,"

"What is it?"

"Why do you want to know?" she asked as she turned to face me and I sat up from my lying position. "I don't know. Is it important?" I asked and she gave me a gloomy expression which suddenly got me worried.

"Chelsea just texted me and she wants to meet up to sort things regarding the engagement news," I told her and watched as she shifted on her position.

"What is there to be sorted anyway?" she challenged and I shrugged.

"Ace,"

"I know, I know!
