Chapter 1
Long time ago, when the world was pitch black, their lived a women named Moon and a man named Sun. They were madly in love with each other and even in the darkest of days their love shines brighter than any darkness. The people were jealous of their love and especially a man named Dark loved the moon. He hated the fact the Moon loved the Sun so much so he came up with a plan. He decided that if he kidnaps the Moon then she would be only his. He creep up behind the Moon, snatches her up, and ran away. Together Dark took Moon back to his home and the Dark did everything he can to make the Moon happy. All it did was make the Moon cry.
"Please send me back to my Sun". The Moon begged. The Dark did not give up winning her love. He would win her heart at all cost.
When the Sun called out to his love that stormy night she never replied. He was scared for her safety but also furious that someone may have snatch her up. He had no idea where to go but he had to find her. He followed his gut and heard his Moon cry in the far distance. He open the door and saw that Dark was over his Moon, begging her to love him.
"Get away from my moon". The sun yelled as he punched the Dark across the face. Moon smiled up and kissed the sun lovingly forgetting about Dark for a moment. Dark was mad. No! He was furious. The Moon was his! He thought that if he killed the Sun then the Moon would forget the Sun and love him. While their back was turned Dark pulled out a dagger and stabbed the Sun in the back. The Sun cried out in pain but stood in front of the moon protectively. He jump Dark and somehow stole the dagger from Dark hand. He aimed for the heart and killed Dark in a single strike. The Sun fell to the floor and the Moon ran over.
"You can’t die Sun. Pleas I love you"! The moon cried her heart out for she is going to loose the love of her life. With the sun last breath he lifted his hand and push her hair back.
"Please don’t be sad my Moon. I may be gone but I will always be with you". With that the Sun took his finale breath and died in Moon arms. The moon cried and begged to whoever would hear her.
"Pleas can someone help me. Save him. Save my Sun and I will do anything to repay you back"! Someone did hear the Moon. An angel who was a messenger of god came down and faced her. The angel stood in front of the Moon tall and proud but also with a soft smile that warmed Moon very soul.
"I have a deal if you wish to save the Sun". Moon looked up at the angel pleadingly.
"Pleas I will do anything for you". The Moon beg in front of the angel. She could not hold back her tears of hope. She may still have a chance to be with the man she loved.
"I will save the sun if you and him go up into the sky and shine your love down onto this world. You will be on one side and he will be on the other. Do we have a deal"? The moon looked down in sadness.
"But I could never see my sun again". The Moon look over at her dead lover.
"That is true but you will know that he is alive". The angel said looking a bit sad. The moon grab her sun hand while looking down at her love one.
"Fine I will take the deal but I want to say goodbye and I want to hold my Sun once in a while in the sky". The angel looked mad but sighed. The angel was not happy that the Moon was changing the deal but the world needed light or nothing will live.
"We have a deal. You have five minutes with your Sun". The angel said some words and the Sun open his eyes. He looked around and saw the Moon. She hugged him tightly never wanting to let go.
"I love you my Sun but to save your life I had to make a deal with the angel. We may be apart but I love you with all my heart". The Sun was confused. How could he be alive but yet become separate once more.
"What do you mean you made the deal with an angel"? The Moon kisses the Sun with so much love not knowing when she will do so again.
"We are going to the sky to shine our love to this world. I will be on one side and you will be on the other. No matter where you are I will always love you". The Moon tearfully smiled as she cares the Moon cheek. The Sun still did not understand what was going to happen.
"Time is up"! The Angel moved forward to the couple. The Sun and Moon kiss one last time. The angel came up to them.
"Sun I am giving you the power of fire so you can light the world". The Sun grew flames and the angel pushed him into the sky. As he rose the darkness was filled with light. The angel looked at the moon.
"I give you the power of light. The Moon grows two huge wings and was shining bright. The Moon flew into the sky and shines down onto the world. As the years flew by the Moon and Sun were wondering if the angel will keep its promise to allow them to see each other again. The angel did keep it's promise. The Moon and Sun aligned for one night and the moon became an orange glow. As the new day came they parted but knowing they will see each other once more. So every two and half years the moon and sun meet. When the sun and moon meet that is called the lunar eclipse.
