Chapter 1

Marley

The last day of the semester of joniur year. Everyone has been acting weird today. All of them has been looking at me then laugh. Not that they don't do that all the time, they do. I am fat Marley after all.

But today it is multiple. All the school, all of them are looking, whispering and laughing.

Finally, the bell rang. Meaning I can finally leave this school of a hell.

I hurried to my locker and got my things. The whispering got louder by now but I couldn't make any of it. I never could.

I closed my Locker and waited for my best friend Alice. But she was no where to be found. And I couldn't take the whispering anymore. I hurried to the door, i can wait for Alice by her car outside.

But unfortunately, I couldn't make it to Alice's care in time.

Because just as I was opening the door, I got socked in water.

I looked at my wet hands, shocked.

And when I look around, I find all the school laughing. All of them. And there was the bucket, that socked me, on the ground.

Now I know what exactly were they talking about all day. All of them has joined this cruel game against me.

But what about Alice? She can't possibly be with them, right?

I look around the laughing faces and there I saw her, with some of Seleine's friends, they are on either side of her, holding her in place, while there is a tape on her mouth.

The one on Alice's right side removed the tape and then Alice kept shouting my name.

"Marley, Marley! Go home, Marley!"

I felt like crying while looking at there cruel faces. But I wouldn't cry in front of them. I am not that weak. So I listened to Alice. I ran.

I started running from the school, across the streets until I reached the bus stop.

I rode it and waited. I still didn't cry. Not yet, at least.

But I don't think i can take it anymore. I have had enough.

Alice

"You little busters, let me go!" I shouted at stupid girls on either of my side, trying to get away from them.

The laugher had died now.

"Shut up." One of them harshly said.

Seleine came walking towards me in her high heels. Then she started laughing. The bitch laughed at my face!

"If only you became friends with me in the beginning, you wouldn't be in that position right now." Seleine started.

"I wouldn't be friends with people like you." I said, disgust evident in my voice. Like I would ever be friends with the bitch!

She glared at me for a second then continued with her stupid smirk.

"Now your friend fat Marley knows exactly her position." She said in her bitchy voice.

"Why did you do that to her? She is never done anything to you." I said.

"I did that because ugly fat people like her should know what exactly they are around us." Seleine said, grinning.

"Fuck you, bitch!" I said.

Her smile vanished. "How dare you?" She gasped like the queen drama she is, holding her hand up to slap me.

My eyes immediatly widened.

But that's before another hand stopped her only inches away from my face.

"I think this is enough for one day, don't you think Seleine?" Zack said, her boyfriend.

"She insulted me, Zack." Seleine said, staring at me, her hand still in the air, inches away from me.

"Never mind her. You did your prank and Everyone enjoyed the show." Zack said, grinning. And I am the one who thought he is the best amongst them all. But he is just like them. He is in it too.

Seleine smiled at him while I gave him a disgusted look.

He then dropped her hand.

Seleine then turned to me, smirking.

"Next time won't be very pleasant." She said before turning around, Zack putting his arm around her shoulder.

Her two friends hurried after her while I hurried to my car to go to Marley.

God, i hope she is okay. But of course she isn't.

Zack

The last day. Everyone has been talking and talking. But I didn't give a shit about it, really. I didn't know what they were talking about but that's not really my business. But right now I wished I had asked.

The water had splashed on poor Marley. I watched in shock while everyone was laughing.

I looked at Seleine beside me.

"You did that?" I asked- even though I am sure she did- shocked at how cruel she can get.

"Yeah, I dealt with the whole school that no one opens the door before her." She said, grinning proudly like she did the greatest thing in the world.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked, furious.

"Because that's exactly what you would have done, you would have cancelled it " she rolled her eyes.

"Of course I would!"

"Beside you really do worry about fat Marley." She said, like I am the guilty one here.

"Don't call her that!" I snapped, glaring at her.

"See, that's my point. You care about her more than you do care about me." She said, glaring as well.

"I care because i see it unfair what people say to her." I defended myself.

"Well, don't. Don't even talk to her." She crossed her arms.

"I will talk to anyone I want." I said then remembered something.

"Wait, you dealt with the whole school, what about Alice?" I asked before she can add anything else about me talking to Marley.

As if in cue, Alice's shouts fill the hall.

"Marley, Marley! Go home, Marley!"

That's exactly what little Marley did, she ran out of the school.

The laugher died immediatly.

"You little busters, let me go!" Alice's shouts ranged around us.

Seleine hurried over to her. I followed leaving a small distance. Then she started laughing at Alice's face.

"If only you became friends with me in the beginning, you wouldn't be in that position right now." Seleine started.

"I wouldn't be friends with people like you." Alice said, disgust evident in her voice.

Seleine was silent for a second, glaring at Alice, I am sure. Then she continued.

"Now your friend fat Marley knows exactly her position." Seleine said.

"Why did you do that to her? She is never done anything to you." Alice said.

"I did that because ugly fat people like her should know what exactly they are around us." Seleine said. I could feel the smirk in her voice.

"Fuck you, bitch!" Alice said. And that's when I knew it won't be very pleasant right now.

"How dare you?" Seleine gasped, holding her hand up to slap Alice. Alice's eyes widened.

I stepped forward and caught Seleine's hand only inches away from Alice's face.

"I think this is enough for one day, don't you think Seleine?" I said.

"She insulted me, Zack." Seleine said, staring at Alice, her hand still in the air, inches away from Alice's.

"Never mind her. You did your prank and Everyone enjoyed the show." I said, grinning like I enjoyed it too so Seleine would leave Alice alone.

Seleine smiled at me while Alice gave me a disgusted look. If only she knew that I had no part in all this.

I dropped Seleine's hand when I was sure she won't do anything.

Seleine then turned to Alice, smirking. "Next time won't be very pleasant." She said before turning around, I put my arm around her shoulder making sure she doesn't change her mind and go back to Alice.

And with that we were out.

Ugh, This is going to be one hell of a long summer break.
