Summary:

She was Ellis. He was Jem. She was a good girl. He was a bad boy. She was polite. He was rude. She was kind. He was impulsive. She believed in God. He was an atheist. She played the piano. He smoked. She was in love. But he wasn't. One day they were brought together through their perceptions of hate, they shared a kiss, but before that they shared many arguments, for matters of the heart require time because love can take a decade and last for as long as a moment but it's still worth it.

Warning: contains a bad boy who for once can actually think in a philosophical manner, is a prankster at heart thus inducing heartfelt laughter and make more than one people fall in love with him. Also, this isn't a happy story so don't think it gets a happy ending. This isn't a love story. It's a story about losing love.

previously called Losing Ellis, mostly because i changed my mind more than a normal white girl changes her clothes while shopping at Forever 21. sorry, that was racist.

I hope you enjoy. :)

Also please help get this story up to 50 k views and nominate it for Wattys 2015! Please note that this story is a ROUGH DRAFT, which is why it's thoroughly unedited.

Animeviewer: It is one of the best stories I've ever read. This story will have you riding a roller coaster of emotions and nearly dying to know what happens next. You will get very attached to the characters and in my case I relate well with some of their very traumatic or emotional experiences, Just Juliet f...

: Nothing like I have ever read. Loved every single bit of it, it had the right amount of romance and humour. I would definitely be re-reading this book. It certainly captivated me, it was so difficult to put this book down.

Jasmine Chow: As I read this story, I was reminded some what of Terry Pratchett, especially some descriptions of politics and economics. The sci-fic setting is quite intriguing. Writing style is quite lovely and grew on me slowly. I was also slightly reminded of Mark Twain, especially his book A Connecticut Ya...

MavisMcQueen: "To Live Again" is a well crafted, highly engaging, heart vibrating tale surrounding our favorite Elven King. The author will keep you engrossed until the very end and by that time you will feel so strongly for Clara and the other characters that you will never want it to end...like ever. Thrandu...

Nadine Willard: I loved this story so much! I generally can't stand super girly romance stories, but this one was so relatable! I could not stop reading this, I read it straight through!! I wish this was a series, not just a single story 😊

Alex Reltin: This is a great story! I love how well you go into detail and emotions of Capri, and Mel. You have amazing dialogue and overall it's just a thrill to read! The only critique I could find is that some of the paragraphs should be separated. Hudson: Your story was fantastic Erin! The Rising Sun was one of the first stories I read on Inkitt, and I have to say I don't regret the three to four days I spent pouring through the story.Probably the biggest strength I see in your writing is your characterisation of Eliana, Oriens, and the rest of th...

Atractivo Sumit: The story is an amazing blend of what we call natural, plain romance along with subtle emotions and interesting twists. The plot is so beautifully interwoven.
