Chapter 26

I found a pretty little red dress. It was more of a summer type dress, but I wasn't leaving the house. I give myself a side braid and waited for Spencer to show up.

Spencers POV,

I knocked on her door and heard her tell me to come in. I opened the door and there she stood looking breath taken as always. "You are beautiful, baby," I said to her and she blushed.

"Thank you, Spencer."

"Are you hungry?”

"Yes." She said. I took her arm and we went to the dining room. She sat between Vincent and me. Vincent stood up and kissed her cheek. I had to admit I was jealous of their bond. I knew the day would come where she would have to choose between us. I promised myself that if she chooses him. I would be a good man, about it. I would step back and let her be happy, but until she chooses. I will do whatever it takes to prove my love to her. I will not leave her side until then.

After dinner Page went off to bed and Vincent and I had work to do. We were in the office when Vicnet got a call from Richard. "Someone sent in a picture to my father. He is texting the picture to me now." Vincent said.

"A picture of what?' I asked him.

"I guess its a photo of someone and he wants to know if we know this person or not," Vincent said. A few seconds later Vincent's phone went off. He looked at the phone for a minute.

"I don't know this woman. Do you?' He asked and handed the phone over to me. I took the phone and looked at the picture. My heart started to beat fast and my blood ran cold.

"You have to fucking be kidding me," I said. I pulled my phone out and called Dimitri.

"Hello?"

"Dimitri, It's Spencer Allan."

"Yes, Spencer I know it's you. What can I do for you?"

"You can tell me why the fuck I'm looking at a picture of Bonnie fucking Walker right now?"

Page's POV,

I had taken a shower and climbed into bed. I thought I was tired but I just couldn't sleep. There was way too much on my mind and I felt like something was wrong. I just decided to lay down and watch some TV. I looked over at the clock and it was well after midnight. I wondered if the guys were even in bed. I also felt like I was a little hungry. I then decided to go out and get me a bowl of cereal. I grabbed my glass of water so I could refill it. I walked down to the kitchen when I heard Spencer's voice. He sounded very upset. I walked towards his voice until I could make out what he was saying.

"Are you out of your fucking mind? You were supposed to kill her!" He yelled. I stopped at the door and listened more. "Why did you never tell me you let her go? She is fucking out of her mind Dimitri. This would have been good information to know. I don't care what she told you, it's all bullshit. She is the one behind all of this. She shot Page, she framed Richard Bailey. You let Bonnie Walker go and now she is after us all." I heard him say as I dropped my glass of water and opened the door. I felt like I was going to pass out. Spencer turned and looked at me and his phone dropped to his side. Vincent came running over to me.

"Baby girl, are you okay?" Vincent said, but he sounded far away.

"Spencer is. Is my mother alive?" I said. He just looked at me. "Spencer, I'm talking to you!" I yelled out.

"Yes baby, she is." Was all he said. That's when the room started to spin. The last thing I remember is Vincent's arm reaching out to grab me.

Vincent's POV,

"Dude, what the fuck is going on?" I asked as I had Page passed out in my arms. I walked over to the couch and laid her down.

"Bonnie Walker is Page's mother. She kidnaped Page and tried to kill her. I trusted a friend to take care of her and I guess the bitch played one over on him and she was let go." Spencer said. "I'm one hundred percent sure that she is behind all of this. I will fucking kill this bitch myself." He said. Spencer was losing his shit and Page was passed out. I didn't know what the hell was going on.

"Spencer you need to call my father and tell him everything," I said. I went out and got a cool washcloth for Page's head. I came back and placed it on her head as Spencer was telling my father about this woman. Page opened her eyes and she went into my arms immediately.

"Please Vincent take me to my room," she said. I picked her up and walked out of the office. I laid her in her bed. Her whole body was shaking and it was scaring me.

"Baby, is this woman really your mother?" I asked her. She nodded her head at me and she grabbed the covers and pulled them over herself. She looked just like a scared puppy. "I promise you baby girl. I won't let this woman anywhere near you. I'll kill her first." I said. She reached her hand out and took my hand and pulled it to her chest and just closed her eyes. I took a deep breath. Just then Spencer came running inside her room. He went to her other side. Page looked at him.

"Why Spencer? Why is she alive?" She asked him. He looked down and he looked like he was defeated.

"She talked her way out of being killed. She convinced Dimitri that she would disappear and never come near any of us again. He believed her and let her go, but he never told me. I swear I never knew. I'm so sorry." He said. Tears fell from her eyes and she turned her head from him and just laid in the bed and cried.

After she fell asleep, Spencer and I went outside her room. I closed her door softly. "What's the deal with her mother?" I asked Spencer.

"She never told you anything about her mom?" He asked me.

"She never shared anything with me about her mother only that she was dead," I said. Spencer took a deep and started to go into this long story about how Page was raised and how the two of them got together in the first place. He told me how bad this woman was to Page and then he told me about how she faked her death and then took Page. The whole story made me sick to my stomach. No wonder Page was the way she was. I'm surprised she can even trust anyone after what she has been through. "What did my father have to say about all of this?" I asked Spencer.

"He is furious and wants me to go back to America to help find her since I know her."

"What are you going to do?"

"I'm going to talk to Page about all of this and find out what she wants me to do."

"You know I'll protect her Spencer.”

"I know you will man, but I promised her I wouldn't leave her side again."

"But this is different, your not leaving her. You're going to take care of her problem." I said. He looked tired and stressed out. He leaned against the wall and put his hands to his face. I knew he was lost and didn't know what he should do. I actually felt bad for him. I knew we both loved her. I knew he loved her with everything he had. I didn't feel hate towards him anymore. I didn't want to be friends, but it was nice not wanting to kill him every second of the day.

I also wasn't sure how I was going to not kill him if she picked him. I just wasn't sure if I could be that good of a man. Because I have never loved anyone but my family. She is the first woman I have ever loved and I would die for her. She was my whole world. Yeah, I fucked up fucking every woman I could get my hands on. I think I did that hoping to make my own pain go away when she left me. I also understand why she left. I understand more now that I know about her past. I placed my hand on Spencer's shoulder. "Why don't you go and try to get some rest. You can talk to her about all of this in the morning. I'm sure she is going to be out for the night." I said to him. He gave in and started to head to his room. He stopped and turned to me.

"Thanks, man." He said. I just nodded at him and he went into his room. I quietly went back into Page's room and pulled a chair close to the side of her bed. I grabbed a blanket and sat in the chair. I wanted to be there for her in case she woke up and needed someone. I watched her as long as my eyes would let me before I fell asleep.
