Chapter Twenty-Five

Life is really amazing, especially when you have all things going good for you. I had never been so relaxed in my life till I met the gorgeous hunk that lay beside me. I know, it’s a bit strange but I am really being honest. Lying here, on this carpeted floor, with my head resting on this mountain of a man was the most satisfying thing I could ever ask for.

A smile made its way to my face as I reminisced the past events. The most exciting time was when we took that impromptu trip to the little diner in Angel Falls. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to forget that night, it was a memorable one. I also thought about the first time I actually held a proper conversation with Brian where we weren’t at each other’s throats.

It was right here in this room; the day I had assumed that my mom cheated on my dad. Oh, how wrong I was. The point is, I saw Brian in a totally different light that day and I guess I kind of started liking him them. As much as I’d hate to admit, I wanted him to kiss me and he probably would have, had Kyle not been the fucking cockblocker that he is.

“What are you thinking about?” Brian’s deep voice whispered against my ear, making a tingle run through at the warmth of his breath.

“uh...just you” I said, truthfully.

“Oh really?” he asked. I knew he was smirking at he did so. He was cocky like that, but it suited him. I mean, have you seen his body? He was built like a Greek god! “What about me exactly?”

“Not much” I shrugged, “just how sumptuous your lips are and how much I want to nibble on them”.

I had only just finished talking when Brian flipped us over and hovered over me in a second. His eyes searched mine, moving from my eyes to lips and his left hand cupped my face. He rubbed his thumb over my cheek, them my bottom lip.

“Is that what you want?” he asked, his voice had become husky all of a sudden and it made me feel hot all over.

“Yeah” I whispered as I gazed at his lips. Why won’t he kiss me?

Brian just looked at me and I was growing impatient. I wanted to say something but I couldn’t trust my voice. Instead, I raised my hand to his neck in an attempt to bring his face closer so I could ravish him just the way I wanted to, but he stopped me.

He grabbed my wrists and held them above my head, capturing me there with no escape. “Don’t touch” he whispered, pressing his lower half against me.

“Ah” I gasped as I felt his hard member. The tingles that shot up my spine were ones I had never felt before. My back arched as he did it again, this time, circling his waist such that his member rubbed against my hardening one. I moaned loudly.

“Are you sure that’s what you want?” he asked again, continuing his sweet torture.

“Yesss” I moaned, hissing at the feeling. I wanted more than that. I wanted to feel his skin against mine, to feel his hard dick rubbing against mine, with no fabric between. I wanted to feel his precum against my skin when he worked us both with his hands. The thought alone made mewl in pleasure. “More”

I closed my eyes when Brian leaned down and kissed me deeply, plunging his tongue into mine. Oh the sweet taste of his lips against mine was more than I could ask for. We were practically day humping at this moment. I struggled to remove my hands from his grip so I could touch him too but he shook his head.

I almost asked why, but the feel his mouth against mine made me think otherwise. What was it with Brian that made me throw all logic out the window?

“Knock Knock” a feeble voice came from the door.

“Ah fuck!” Brian groaned and got up, leaving me panting with a huge tent in my sweatpants.

I frowned when the knock came again. “Why do people hate us?” I questioned as I got up from the floor.

“Wish I knew baby” he replied and opened the door, revealing a very red Niall.

“What’s up?” I asked.

“Um... sorry. I just... I just wanted to tell you... that… that dad said he and Michael are on their way home right now and they wanted Kyle to drive me over...to...to meet you” he answered.

“What?”

“They’re on their way home right now. Your home” Niall explained and then it dawned on me. I was still fucking grounded.

“Holy Fuck! Oh my God! Shit! Shit! Shit!!!!” I screamed and started scrambling around for my stuff. Where the hell was my shirt? And my slides? And my phone!!!

“Aiden, what’s going on?” Brian asked, obviously confused at my antics.

“I’m still grounded Brian, and I need to get home before my dad gets there, like now!” I shouted as I put on my T-shirt. “My phone! Where the hell is my phone? I need my phone”

“Aiden calm down” he insisted.

“I can’t. I snuck out okay? I stole the phone from dad and if he gets there before I do, he’ll know and probably ground me my whole life!” I explained as I put on my slides. “He’s gonna kill me”.

I quickly took my car keys from Brian’s desk and run out of the room, freezing when I got to the stairs. I couldn’t just leave like that. I run back to Brian’s room to see him leaning against his desk with a confused expression.

“Sorry” I said shyly and walked up to him. “I’m really gonna miss you when I go home” I said and kissed his lips. “I’ll try to call you” I whispered against his lips.

Brian nodded and gave me one last deep kiss before I run out of the house, my heart hammering in my chest.

Oh God!

***

There was no car in the driveway when I arrived at the house. My dad usually parked there and mom used the garage. I knew mom’s car wouldn’t be there as she and Klara left with dad and Chance. Now, that somehow gave me a sense of relief but I couldn’t help but still feel anxious.

I’m sure this is how everyone feels whenever they do something bad. We get anxious over the simplest things because we’re expecting to get caught. My heart was hammering in my chest as the seconds went by. I made my way to the house after parking the car exactly where it was earlier.

I opened the door slowly, hoping that no one hears or sees me. The maids were at their quarters, that much I was sure of, but who knew?

The moment I closed the door, the sound of dad’s car came to my hearing. I quickly looked out the window to confirm, and there he was, getting out of the car with Chance.

Oh thank God I got here right before him. Now, all I have to do is get the phone to his study...

“Oh Aiden, there you are” Maria’s voice said behind me.

“Holy shit! You scared me!”

“There’s nothing holy about that Aiden” she scolded making me roll my eyes. “I’ve been looking all over for you. Come on” she said and took my hand, leading me towards the kitchen.

“Um... Why? Maria, I’ve got something to do” I stated, trying to free myself if her grip.

“I’m sorry Aiden, but you missed lunch and I have to feed you or I’m gonna lose my job” she insisted.

“Oh that” I realised when we got to the kitchen. I can’t believe I forgot about that.

“I’ve already eaten” I lied.

“Really? When?”

Okay... Maybe I’m not the smartest kid in the world. I couldn’t tell her I had lunch at Kyle’s since I was supposed to be at home all day, and she might actually snitch to dad so... Damn.

“I had an apple earlier” I said and she laughed.

“Oh you and your apples Aiden. I know how much you love them but they’re no food” she said.

“Damn it woman!” I grumbled. I really needed to get the phone to dad’s study but that plan was a bust now since I heard the front door open. Damn it! I’m gonna get busted. Dad’s gonna kill me.

“Aiden! We’re home!” I heard dads voice shout through the house. I instantly pocketed the phone and walked out of the kitchen, through the dining room and into the hallway.

“I’m here dad” I said. “Oh hey, Chance” I greeted as if I didn’t know he was with him.

“Hello Aiden, how are you?”

Always so formal, I mentally rolled my eyes. How does Niall survive? “I’m alright” I shrugged.

“He’s just pissy because I confiscated his phone” Dad chuckled, giving his coat to Maria who was following me the entire time. Chance did the same and went upstairs as I followed dad to the living room.

“Aiden, we’ve got a surprise for you” Dad said making my eyes widen.

“Really?” Just then, I heard the sound of a truck coming into the driveway.

“Yeah, your brother is coming over for dinner”.

“Oh” I stated, nodding and trying to sound surprised as Niall had already informed me. Just so you know, I’m not the best liar out there.

I looked anywhere but at dad’s face as he stared at me weirdly. Did he figure it out? God, I hope not.

“I think they’re already here. Let’s go meet them” Dad said with a grin.

Oh thank God.

“Um, I think I’ll go change before” I said, hoping he’ll allow me to go so I can put the phone back in the study.

“Don’t be rude Aiden. He wouldn’t mind. It’s best to meet him now”.

I rolled my eyes. “Just so you know dad, I already know him from school, okay?”

“Fine, but this is your first official meeting at family so hurry up!” he insisted.

With a sigh of relief, I quickly rushed up the stairs. And here I thought he was going to catch me and punish me some more. I got to dad’s study and gripped the door knob only to gasp when it opened immediately. Somehow, I knew something was wrong.

Didn’t I lock it before?

I opened it fully and froze. Chance was sitting in dad’s chair, staring right at me.

“I see you’ve taken your phone” he said calmly, closing the book he was reading.

“Um... no... I... I didn’t” I stuttered.

Chance just shook his head. “Just put it back. He won’t hear a word from me” he said making my eyes widen in surprise.

“Oh my God, you’re the best!” I cheered and rushed over to hug him tightly. “Thank you thank you thank you!”

“Calm down son” he said and patted my back.

I laughed as I placed the phone down at the center of the desk. “I was wrong about you Chance, you’re awesome!” I said before leaving the study.

I honestly thought he’d rat me out to dad or punish me himself. I mean, the man never smiles.

I quickly changed from my sweatpants and shirt into another sweatpants and shirt before going downstairs. Everyone was waiting at the living room for me.

I smirked when I saw Kyle sitting in the couch with Niall by his side.

“Hey bro” I greeted and fist bumped Kyle. He rose a brow at me and I knew exactly what he was asking. I shook my head, indicating that Dad had no clue I was out of the house. He smirked at that and I shifted my gaze to Niall.

“Hey”.

“Hey” he responded shyly. Somehow, Niall always surprised me. I thought by now he’ll be normal with like he was with Kyle, but I guess that was too much to ask for, considering the situation.

“I see you’ve met. Aiden, this is Niall, your brother,” Dad introduced. “And Niall, this is Aiden, the brother you’ve always wanted. Who knew you guys even had a mutual friend. This is kind of exciting; I wish your mom were here to see you guys hitting it off”. Okay, dad was getting really weird. I’ve never seen him so excited about something before, but I guess that makes sense considering this is the longest I’ve seen him as he’s been home for almost a month now.

I gave him a small smile, tow high he returned. I honestly didn’t know what to say in front of dad.

“Um... do you want to see the rest of the house?” I asked. Niall looked at Kyle who nodded and then turned to me.

“Sure”.

“Okay, let’s go”. He got up and I led him out of the living room, stopping at the stairs when I realized Kyle wasn’t following us. “Kyle, you coming?”

“You guys go ahead. I’m gonna hit the kitchen”.

“You sure about that? Maria would have your head if you raid the fridge”.

“She’s still here?” Kyle screamed and I laughed. Yeah, he and Maria hated each other cause Kyle lived off candy bars that were always in the fridge, annoying her to no end.

“Of course”.

“Meh, I’ll take my chances. Besides, I miss that old woman” Kyle shrugged.

“Who do you think you’re calling old Mister?” Maria asked from the kitchen and I took that as my cue to leave.

“Come on” I said to Niall.

“Who’s Maria?”

“Just our maid. She lives here with her cousin, Estella”.

“Oh okay” he nodded.

“Where are we going?”

“I don’t know” I shrugged. “There’s really not much here. I’m sure your place is much nicer”.

“It’s too big and boring” Niall shrugged.

“Well, all we’ve got here is bedrooms and a game room, and a movie room. And the pool. Oh and the sauna and I guess the gym, but that’s outside close to the maids’ quarters. But nothing more”.

“You have a game room?”

“Yeah” I shrugged. “I don’t use it much”.

“Wow. Can I see it?”

“Sure”.

I led him to the game room and he looked at it in awe. I didn’t know what emotion I should have been feeling at that moment but I wondered, did Niall not have a game room?

“You’ve got all this to yourself?”

“Yeah, I guess. I mean, I basically live alone, you know with Dad gone... um… With him at your place all the time. I just live with mom” I shrugged.

Niall turned to me and I saw a guilty look in his eye. “I’m sorry” he said.

“For what?” I asked Santa I sat down in one of the bean bag chairs.

“Um... For taking your dad away from you”.

Oh. “That’s not your fault Niall. And you really shouldn’t be worried about that. Besides, he’s your dad too isn’t he?”

“Yeah he is”.

I smiled. “Tell me how it’s like living with him” I said. I really wanted to know as I only saw my dad for a short amount of time each month. Some months, not at all. To be honest, had I not found out about Mom and Klara, I wasn’t sure that Dad would have explained our whole family to me.

“Papa is really awesome, to be honest...” Niall started and I had to bite my lip to keep from crying at all the awesome things my dad had done for him. Things I wished he had done for me. I was happy and sad at the same time as I listened to him. But most of all, I was jealous. Jealous of how happy he was when he talked about dad. I wished I knew dad like that.

But somehow, I knew that all things will fall into place. Niall didn’t hate me as much after all the things I had done, my parents were here, all four of them and I knew I’d enjoy getting to know them, my best friend was also here, Andrew knew about my past but didn’t judge me for it, and most of all, I had someone I really liked who liked me just as much.

Yeah, life was amazing.
