Survival, no matter what.
That is what kept Victoria alive. A young girl with a troubled past learned to take care of herself by dealing in drugs. Money is the only thing she wishes for, to find a way out of her dreadful life. Highly skilled and fierce, a lack of human emotions, the girl learned how to protect herself from the monsters she created herself.
But what happens when she gets on the radar of Black Blood? A gang that deals with murder, drugs and dirty money. Morals are thrown out of the window, survival is the only answer, so she accepts a deal made by the devil, working for Black Blood.
Victoria wasn’t a random pick for the Black Blood gang. She is there for something bigger, a deal of a lifetime and she has the knowledge hidden deep inside her.
Arsen West, leader of Black Blood, a man with no empathy, a man whose best friend is a gun, a man called the devil was told they found the perfect fit for his problem. But what happens when he finds out that his solution is a girl?
Murder, gangs, lies, and hate are bound to happen,
But the worst game you can play is love.
Hi there new reader (or maybe you have read it before)
It’s nice to meet you. My first question is: how did you find this story? And what made you start reading it? I’m really curious because this book here is like my newborn baby.
Now, I like to give you some warnings about Amor de Rey. You might be used to mafia/gang stories, but I promise you this isn’t one like any you have read before. (seriously).
Why? There is nothing cliche about it. Nothing. I love to read and write dark romances and I love to see people struggling (in books). I love the darkness in my characters and I take away all the joy in them. In the entire book, there is not one person that smiles genuinely. My story is more psychological than anything else. For the romance part of the story, you need to have a wicked sense of it or else you might not find it in this story at all.
Furthermore, I write explicitly because I like you to know everything. If you’re too young for these kinds of scenes I would love for you to close this book immediately.
Last warning, I’m from Belgium. While I like to believe that my English is good, there will be mistakes. The first few chapters will be filled with it. But during the book, you can see the improvement of my writing. I promise you the last chapters are quite better than the first ones.
Right now I’m editing everything to make sure all chapters are written as best as I can. The editing is going very slow. I don’t have that much time. The first five chapters are edited. Pathetic, I know. So they might throw you off when all of a sudden you find more mistakes in chapter four and continue. The further you get in the book, the fewer mistakes you’ll find.
I’m not a fan of people mentioning my spelling mistakes because I’m editing the book right now. I’m aware of them. If the book is edited and you still find some mistakes then you can let me know.
That brings me to my next subject to talk about. I’m all about feedback. I love it and this book needs it. I’m dreaming of publishing it one day and it needs to develop to the very best version of it. So, give me all the feedback you can give me.
Things you would have liked differently? Scenes that need to be written more carefully? Emotions that need to be described better? Plot holes? Everything that comes to mind when you are reading this story.
You can let me know by commenting.
What I don’t like, are mean comments. I hate it. They bring my confidence down and they just hurt my feelings. If you have something to say that you don’t like, do it in a gentle and friendly way. I’m here to learn and I’m not a professional author.
If there is something you find ridicule in this story than don’t make fun of it. Tell me nicely, or stop reading altogether. If there are comments that are downright insulting, I’ll delete them and pretend that I’ve never read them before.
Amor de Rey is doing pretty well when it comes to reads, but every single reader I’d like to meet. You can do that by once again commenting. I’m interested where everyone is from. They make me smile and I remember most of them. I’ll contact some of them to hear their opinions on Amor de Rey. So, if you love or like my story give it a vote and a comment. It means a lot to me.
That was the last thing I had to say. Now, I just need to wish you lots of fun while reading and I hope you truly enjoy it.
