Chapter 18

(Kinsley’s pov)

“Hey, Dom.” I barged into his room. He stood there in a towel. Water droplets ran down his chest bringing my attention to focus on the water.

“Kins.” He said softly walking over to me. My body was pressed against the wall while his body was dangerously close. His hand came up cupping my cheek. My eyes flicked to lips before going back to his eyes. He sighed crashing his lips into mine.

I stood there motionless too shocked that this was happening. My body was on fire with his lips going down my body. My hands acted on their own as they brought his lips back to mine. He smiled pulling my body closer to him. I moaned feeling his hand run down my back.

“Anyone home.” My brother yelled, making us jump apart. In the process, his towel fell to the floor making my eyes dropdown.

“Go.” He snapped me out of my trance before running out of the room.

“Hey, you okay you look like you just saw a ghost.” He frowned walking over to me.

“No, I was just watching a scary movie.” I shrugged, trying to make it to my room.

“Where’s my nephew?”

“With his dad.”

“Alright. I’m going to order a pizza.”

“I’m not hungry I think I’m just going to bed.” I rushed out trying to get away from him.

“You sure.”

“Okay.” He pulled me into his arms hugging me tightly.

“Love you, little sis.”

“Love you too.” I pulled away from him and went to my room. I took out my hearing aids before climbing into bed.

I shut the door before getting pushed against the wall. His lips came crashing down against mine, making me moan. My hands ran through his hair giving it a little tug. He groaned wrapping my legs around his waist. I tugged on his shirt as he kissed down my neck.

My back land on the soft surface as he pulled away taking off his shirt. He came back crashing his lips against mine as his hands ran underneath my shirt.

“You’re so beautiful.” He smiled against my lips. I smirked rolling over, so I was straddling his waist. His hands were on my hips while his eyes were focused on mine. Smiling, I pulled my shirt off throwing it on the ground. He groaned leaning up crashing his lips back against mine. His hands came up cupping my breast making me moan.

“Please Dom.”

My eyes shot open realizing it was just a dream. I can’t believe that was just a dream and with him. I grabbed my phone quickly texting Sawyer telling us we need to talk.

As soon as I got up I quickly got ready and went to Sawyer’s. Her husband Austin let me in and I went to her room curling up with her.

“What are you doing here so early?” She yawned pulling me closer.

“I texted you.”

“I passed out as soon as I got home. Now tell me what has you curled up with me so early.” I sighed trying to figure out what to say.

“Umm Dom and I kissed last night.” She gasped pulling away from me.

“Finally.” She smiled

“I don’t even know what it means. We kissed, and I haven’t seen him since.” I sighed rubbing my hands down my face.

“Blake came home pulling us apart and I’m scared to see him.”

“He’s my best friend and this changes things.”

“You need to talk to him.”

“I know.” I sighed rolling over looking up at the ceiling.

“What’s going through your head of yours?”

“I don’t even know. Everything is so messed up with him kissing me and then the dream.”

“A dream huh.” She smirked making me groan.

“I wanted to have sex with him,” I confessed playing with the pillow.

“Who knew my little sister.” I groaned rubbing my hands down my face.

“Why is this happening?”

“Look all joking aside what did you feel when he kissed you?”

“I was in shock but then everything felt right.”

“Look Kins, I know your scared and everything, but I think you need to take this chance.”

“I don’t even know what is going on. I’m still in shock that even happened, and that dream doesn’t help.”

“Just don’t overthink it. Trust your heart.”

“You’re right. I need to get going to pick up Row.”

“I need to see him.”

“Sounds good. Text me if you need anything.” I gave her a quick hug before heading to Lucas’s. Hopefully seeing Rowan will help me relax. At least when I go home later I will have Rowan to lean on a little instead of just Dom and me.

I pulled up to Lucas’s place and went to knock on the door. He smiled opening the door letting me in. Charli came running smiling.

“Aunt Kinsley!” I smiled scooping her into my arms.

“Hi, munchkin what are you doing here?” I gave her a kiss on the cheek making her giggle.

“She wanted to spend time with her little cousin. Harper should be here soon to get her.”

“So, what are you and Rowan doing?”

“I got to hold him.”

“You did huh.” She nodded as I set her down and she ran back over to Rowan. I smiled walking over scooping him into my arms.

“Momma missed you, buddy.” He grabbed my face and tried to eat it.

“Thanks, baby, I love you too. How was he?” I turned to Lucas.

“He was good. It was rough for a little bit at night, but I think he was just missing you.”

“He misses his momma.”

“You okay if they still call you an aunt?” I nodded looking towards Charli. All the younger ones call me Aunt Kinsley and some of the older ones do.

“I’m fine with it, its more on what their parents think.” He nodded scooping Charli back up into his arms. The door opened, and I heard Harper's voice.

“Come here.” He let her go and she ran right into her arms.

“Look, momma, Aunt Kinsley is here.”

“I see that. Go get your stuff.” She set her down before coming over and hugging me.

“I miss seeing you around here. Maybe one of these days we will all have to get together.”

“Yea I would love that. I know things are different, so I didn’t know if...”

“Kins, whether you two are together we still see you as a sister.”

“Thank you that means a lot. I know he’s your brother, so I didn’t want you guys to pick sides.”

“We got lucky with you.”

“I always say that.” I smiled giving her another hug.

I walked back in the apartment finding Dom curled up on the couch asleep. He looks so cute curled up with his blanket. Of course, Rowan picked the perfect time to start crying. Dom stirred, sitting up to look at me.

“It’s okay, let me take him.”

“Thank you. I’ll start making dinner.” Sighing I walked past him and went to the kitchen to make us dinner.

“Little man is in his bouncer. I changed his diaper.” I turned around finding Dom running his fingers through his bed head. He looks so sexy just waking up.

“Thank you, you didn’t have to do that.”

I put the macaroni in a bowl and handed it to him. We walked into the living room, taking our usual spots on the couch.

“Thank you for dinner.”

“Anytime.” I smiled. It was awkward trying to figure out what I’m supposed to do or say. I set my bowl down at the same time he did.

“Come here,” Dom whispered.

“Dom,” I said softly.

“Come on I missed my best friend today.” I sighed curling up into his arms. I did miss him today, it was hard not seeing him all day.

“We need to talk Kins.”

“I don’t even know what to say.”

“I just want you to listen and hear me out.”

“Okay.” I nodded looking at him worried. Rowan let out a cry making me pull away from him.

“I’m sorry, let me feed him and put him to bed.” He nodded as I got up and pulled Rowan into my arms. I took him to our room, so I could lay him down after.

“What you just want mom huh.” I kissed his forehead as he looked up at me the whole time. Once he was done I went to lay him down, but he wasn’t having it.

“I love you buddy. Mommy needs to go talk to uncle Dom and you need to go to sleep.” I sighed bouncing him in my arms.

“Everything okay?”

“Yea, sorry he’s just being extra clingy.”

“He just missed his mommy.” He smiled coming over wrapping his arms around my waist. Rowan looked up at him and smiled.

“Hey, buddy.” I ran my fingers through his hair calming him down. His little eyes closed, and his breathing slowed down. I kissed his forehead before laying him down. Dom and I walked back into the living room crashing down on the couch.

“You’re an amazing mom.”

“Thank you. Some days it doesn’t feel like it.”

“Rowan’s lucky to have you.”

“What did you want to talk about?”
