Chapter 49

Ammah's POV

"Amarya, mama is calling you" Amani inform as she entered my room. I nod my head and stand up wearing my long hijab over my knee length night gown. It's to twelve but you can swear it morning cause no body is asleep. Everybody is wide awake gisting or talking about the remaining of my marriage events. Tomorrow is the day. The dauren aure. The day I'll become Mrs Faisal.

"Assalamu alaikum" I salamed entering mama's room. For the first time since my wedding has started she is the only one in her room, no aunties, no notepad in her hand.

"Walaikum Salaam. Autan mama?" She called as I close the door behind me.

"Yes mama, you sent for me?" I asked as I sit by her bed.

"Yes" she confirmed and I wait for her to proceed. This is it. The marriage talk.

"Ammah aure sai hakuri. Obey your husband, please him, don't raise your voice when talking to him cause when a woman is married her Al-jannah lies under her husband feet. If he is scolding you don't talk back, just pray and leave everything in the hands of Allah. Don't derive your husband from his sexual right, don't fight with him. Trust! my baby, Trust is the greatest pillar of marriage, without trust there won't be peace. Don't snoop around your husband's work, don't suspect him if there is any problem talk to him about it. Ammah I know you, no sleeping till two o'clock or lazing around till four o'clock in your pyjamas.

Ammah, I talked to Faisal's dad about Faisal and he told me some very private things about his life that you as his soon to be wife ought to know. Faisal is lost, he is like a puppy lost in a forest and only you can save that puppy, only you can rescue him and bring his back home, to his people and his family.

We all know he is traumatized about his mother's death but he refuse to show or talk about it. Every day before going to bed he cries, his father told me there was a night he found Faisal talking in his sleep. He was talking to his mother as if he was dreaming about her and getting lost in his dream. It's affecting him physically, emotionally and spiritually. He needs help soon even though he will never tell anyone or admit it. He needs someone to rescue him from that dark place and soon.

Faisal is a man with a heart of gold, he doesn't share his pain and you have to teach him to be open to you. To talk to you and to always know you will be there forever and always for him. Yes he might be very stubborn at first but he will come around Inhsa Allah. My dear you have to be very, very patience with him. He doesn't need medical help or spiritual help he needs love and assurance that you will never leave him and he can always have a space in your heart.

Love him and do whatever makes him happy. And please don't come home running for every single thing, sort things out yourselves but remember mama will always be here if you need me. Respect his family and take care of his siblings like yours.

Allah ya miki albarka (may Allah shower his blessings on you) autan mama. Mama loves you so much and even your darling baba. I'm sure he must be so proud of you from wherever he is." she concluded as I hug her crying heavily.

"I love you too mama and baba" I said and that's how we spent the night crying into each other's embrace.

"Ammah please wakeup.. I've let you slept enough." Adda said and I open my eyelids. After fajr prayers, I was having a massive headache cause of crying so adda let me go back to sleep. I walk to the bathroom and take a shower before changing into my navy blue and pink lace skirt and peplone blouse.

The makeup artist did my makeup and they put a veil over my head and we all sit on the bed waiting for ya Abba to call and inform us that I'm officially Mrs Faisal.

Faisal's POV

Today is the day. The day I've been waiting for since in forever. The day Ammah will be mine forever and ever. I cry as I hold amma's picture close to my heart. It's two am and I'm sitting on the floor in my room clutching onto amma's picture and crying. it's become a tradition and daily routine I guess, to wake up by two am and start crying.

"Ya Faisal?" A voice whispered entering my room. "I heard sobs so I decided to check on you, are you okay?" Amnat asked. I wipe my tears and stand up.

"Yes. What are you doing awake?" I asked

"I went to the kitchen to dink water, Safinat finished the one in our room" she replied

"Okay go back to sleep"

"Ya Faisal you know you can always talk to me about anything right?"

"Yes baby sis, now go and sleep"

"Ya Faisal, you don't look okay. Is it the wedding jitters or is something else is bothering you?"

"Amna I'm okay"

"You don't look okay, your eyes.. They-" she stammer moving backwards.

"Leave!" I yelled and she move backwards body trembling in fear.

"Your not okay! Please snap out of it!! Daddy!!!" she yelled calling for help. I grab my car keys and leave the house driving to amma's graveyard.

"Finally mama's boy is here.." A voice siad and I turn to see Tsunami and his gang.

"Tsunami!!!" I growled even though my heart was beating really fast.
