Chapter 14

“It’s a girl.” Just like Sophia they laid her on my belly and wiped her off before taking her. I looked at Colin finding him wiping his eyes before leaning down to kiss my lips.

“I love you so much, you did so amazing.”

“I love you too.” He kissed my forehead then she was placed in my arms.

“Hi baby girl, I’m your mommy.” I smiled at her.

“And I’m your daddy.”

“I know you’re scared, but we’re going to take care of you. Your big sister will be here to meet you soon.” I kissed her forehead and she looked at her daddy then back to me.

“You and your sister sure look like your momma.”

“I think she looks like you.” I smiled looking up at him.

“Would you like to hold your daughter?” He nodded, carefully taking her into his arms.

“Hi baby girl, I’m your daddy.”

“Did you come up with a name yet?”

“I was thinking Maggie. I want her middle name to be Faith, but it doesn’t flow together.”

“What about Elizabeth and just call her Ellie?”

“I like it, babe what do you think?”

“What do you think, do you like the name, Ellie?” He smiled down at our baby girl. He was so cute and perfect with her.

“I think she likes it.”

“Sophia and Ellie.”

“I can’t wait for her to get here.”

(Rickey’s pov)

I woke up to Sophia kicking me in her sleep. I sighed grabbing my phone checking for updates. Looks like McKenna had the baby just a couple of hours ago.

“What baby?”

“Can we see mommy?”

“I will ask her, she might be sleeping. ” I texted back congratulations and asked when I could bring her.

“Guess what?”

“Mommy had the baby.” I showed her the picture making her squeal in excitement.

“We go see her?”

“When mommy says we can. Let’s get you in the bath and ready to go.” She nodded and quickly went off to the bathroom while I followed her to get her ready. I got her ready and I got ready for checking my phone.

“Honey, she didn’t text me back yet.”

“How come?”

“She might be sleeping, she’s probably exhausted.” She frowned and sat on the couch next to me.

“We will go soon and we can bring momma some food.”

McKenna finally texted saying we could come to see them.

“Come on, let’s go.” I scooped her up, getting in the car. We went and got McKenna some food before going to the hospital.

“You have to be quiet. Babies and mommies are trying to sleep.” She nodded her head while she held onto my hand. We made it to McKenna’s room finding her asleep with the baby on her chest. Colin was nowhere in a weird sight.

“Mommy.” She whispered.

“She’s sleeping, honey.” The baby sneezed making McKenna stir. I’m surprised Sophie’s not here either.

“Mommy.” She let go off my hand and tried climbing on the bed.

“Soph, she’s sleeping.”

“What baby?”

“I missed you.”

“Careful Soph.” I sighed. I sat down on the chair watching them. McKenna finally opened her eyes and looked at both of her daughters.

“Come here and give me a hug.” She crawled into her mom’s arms hugging her while McKenna kissed her forehead.

“Did you have fun with daddy?′

“Yea, can I hold her?”

“Sure can, both of you wash your hands.” Sophia quickly jumped off the bed. We washed our hands before going back into the room. I picked Sophia up and set her on the bed, she moved and sat next to her.

“Remember you have to hold her head.” She nodded and McKenna carefully placing her in her big sister’s arms. I got my phone out and took a picture of them.

“Cute momma.”

“Yes, she is, just like you.”

“Love you sissy.” She leaned down kissing her sister’s forehead, she’s going to be a great big sister.

(McKenna’s pov)

I loved having both my girls together they were so perfect together.

“How are you feeling?” Rickey asked.

“Exhausted, I’m so happy she’s here.” I sighed in content.

“Did you guys come up with a name?”

“Elizabeth Faith, so we’re going to call her Ellie.”

“I like it.”

“Thank you.”

“Where is everyone?”

“Mom went home to sleep and Colin had to go to work for a little bit. Everyone’s coming later, I wanted Sophia to be able to meet her before them.”

He nodded and I looked back down to make sure they were okay. Ellie had Sophia’s hand all wrapped up while they were making faces at each other. Ellie started crying so I carefully pulled her back into my arms.

“It’s time to eat.” She frowned at me and I carefully got Ellie situated before looking back at Sophia. She moved so she could see better what Ellie was doing.

“Why she do that?”

“You did the same thing when you were a baby. She’s nursing, it’s how she gets everything she needs.”

“How come I stop?”

“You got older, and didn’t need to anymore.” She nodded and sat back down next to me.

“I want you to come home.” She frowned.

“Tomorrow we can come home. Believe me, I wish I could leave, but I can’t just yet.”

“They just have to make sure me and sissy are okay to go home.”

“Hey, do you want to stay with daddy again or nana?”

“Um, daddy.” I nodded looking over at him.

“No kicking this time.” He smiled at her and she just giggled.

“We slept on the couch.”

“You did.”

“Yea she was worried about you.”

“Awe, I missed you too honey.”

“How was it?” He asked watching me closely.

“It was a lot different from the first time.”

“I want to see nana.”

“She’s sleeping, honey. She stayed with me the whole time.”

“She holds sissy?”

“She sure did.”

Rickey’s phone went off and he left the room leaving me with my girls.

“You happy to have your sister here?”

“It’s going to be hard the next couple of weeks, but we will get through it okay.”

“I stay with daddy more?” She had a hopeful expression.

“I’ll talk to him about that.”

“Hey I’m sorry, I have to get to work. Do you want me to take her to your parents or anything?”

“No, she’s fine. Sean and Elliot will be here soon.”

“Okay, come here princess and give daddy a hug.” She pulled away and ran into her dad’s arms.

“Love you baby girl.”

“Love you, daddy.”

“Be good for your mommy and help her if she needs it okay.”

“Okay, daddy.”

“See you later.” He kissed her forehead and cheek before coming over to me.

“You did amazing as always. If you need me to get her just call me.”

“I will. Thank you for taking her last night and bringing her here.”

“Your welcome, see you later.” He kissed my forehead and surprised me by kissing the back of Ellie’s head before leaving. Sophia came back over and curled up with me.

“Love you baby girl.”

“Love you, momma.”

I had Ellie in her basket while Sophia was curled up with me. There was a knock on the door and I turned to find Sean and Elliot.

“Did we wake you?”

“No, both girls are sleeping though.” Sean walked in and went right to Ellie.

“She’s so cute. Babe come here.” Elliot walked over and looked down at his niece.

“What is her name?”

“Ellie, full name is Elizabeth Faith Price.”

“Awe, you named her after me,” Elliot smirked.

“Did not, I didn’t even think of that.” Sean carefully pulled her into her arms.

“How was Colin?”

“He made it out alive. He’s at work right now.”

“Poor guy.” I nodded, rubbing Sophia back as she curled more into me.

“Mom sent me a picture of you with a mask on your face.”

“It was hard to breathe, this one was so bad.”

“Think you will have any more?”

“Honestly I don’t know. I do want a boy though.”

“That would be cute.”

“Yea we need a boy too.”

“You’re not getting one anytime soon if you act like that.” Ellie made a noise so Sean rocked her getting her back to sleep.

“She looks like you too.”

“No, I think she looks like her dad.”

“Me too.”

Elliot went back and sat in the chair.

“Where are the girls?” I asked Sean.

“Lacey has them, oh Summer is in town.”

“You know I just had a baby right?”

“Yes, I was just saying.”

“Hi, sleepyhead.” Sophia opened her eyes and looked at me. I smiled running my fingers through her hair.

“You guys talk loud.”

“Better get used to it when your sister is crying,” Elliot smirked.

“He’s mean.”

“Sure is princess.” I kissed her forehead and she turned to look for her sister.

“Hi, munchkin.”

“I want to hold her.”

“Baby, she’s sleeping.”

“But Sean’s holding her?”

“Yea, but she’s also rocking her, you’re too little to do that. After your uncle holds her you can have her okay.”

This was going to be fun raising two girls. It’s going to be insane when they are in high school.
