Chapter 32

Xavier's point of view

I was sitting in my office, going through some documents when I heard a knock on my door, a smirk appeared on my face at the sound.

"Come in."

"Y-you requested for my presence, alpha." the maid stuttered out, her eyes never once leaving the floor. I put the documents down, taking my glasses off, I tilted my head and looked at the maid who had the audacity to disrespect my mate.

"So much respect. Didn't show that when you were talking to my mate, now did you?" I said I felt the maid visibly stiffen before she slightly relaxed. Well, she shouldn't be.

"I-I didn't mean to alpha. She was the one who started it!" she yelled before I even got the chance to say anything. I stood from my chair and leaned against my desk, my eyes fixated on the maid who was slightly shaking.

"Oh quit it. I know who started what so stop with this pathe-"

"NO!! SHE WAS THE ONE WHO STOLE YOU FROM ME!!!" she screamed loudly, finally gathering the courage to look me in the eye. Her eyes held disgust for my mate making my insides burn in rage. How fucking dare she?

"What the fuck do you mean by that? Huh? I was never yours and never will be." I gritted the words out. I was seconds away from snapping her neck. Closing my eyes, I took a deep breath willing myself to calm down and my wolf.

"Let me out so I'll teach this lowlife a lesson she'll never forget," Luca yelled in my head, pacing around. I could already feel a headache forming.

"And what will you do?" I said in a bored tone. He growled loudly at me and stopped pacing.

"I will rip her apart," he growled out loudly.

"No, you won't. She's a woman. You can't hurt h… " I trailed off. Yea, like I was any better. I had done more than hurt my angel.

I didn't want to talk to my wolf so I cut our link off. I knew if I did, I'd end up going on another guilt trip which I couldn't do right now. I had some people to handle.

"You were MINE!!! She took you away from me!" She yelled once again in her high pitched voice. I controlled myself from tearing my ears.

"I was never yours and never will be. Get that inside your head!!" I yelled at her, she looked at me with a murderous look, breathing hard.

"You were but that bitch-" she started but I cut her off by stepping closer to her and lowering myself to her level.

"Never ever say such a thing to your Luna or goddess help me, I will personally banish you from the face of the earth," I said, my voice low and malicious. The maid squirmed under my stare bringing satisfaction to me.

"Have anything else to say?" I said taking a couple of steps back. The maid shook her head hastily causing a smirk to appear on my face.

"Good, now I, alpha Xavier Nicholas Knight, banish you from the red dawn pack and commit you rogue. Now fùcking leave, " I growled, she shivered furiously before sprinting out of the room.

I sighed going back to my desk and continuing where I had left.

I strolled down to the basement, a content smile on my face. My men had finally found those rogues who had done all those things to the girl we had found. I knew my angel deeply cared about her.

It was time to teach them a lesson.

But who will teach you a lesson?

I sighed, my smile quickly vanishing and getting replaced by a frown. I shook my head, ignoring the voices and continued heading towards the basement.

The guards that were assigned there gave me a short bow before straightening up. I gave them a curt nod before entering the dungeons.

As usual, the groans, moans, and howls of the prisoners could be heard. I ignored them and made my way to the cell where the rogues were held captive.

I opened the silver door using a glove to avoid it burning me. I moved inside and saw three rogues chained to the ceilings. I smirked at their heads that were lowered to the ground.

Hearing the door open, one of them looked up at me, his eyes slightly widening as he looked at me with fear that vanished as soon as it came.

Oh, there will be more than just fear in your eyes after I'm done. I thought to myself.

I moved over to the table that I had ordered my guards to arrange. It was filled with my favorite toys. Seeing them, the monstrous side of me sighed in satisfaction indicating me that I was no longer in control.

I picked up a silver plated dagger and moved towards the rogues with a bright smile on my face. All of their heads snapped upwards when they heard me approaching them. All of their eyes widened in horror at the object in my hand. Silver affected rogues slightly more than normal wolves and that was a plus for me because it would only make things even more fun.

I stood in front of the middle one so all of them could have a better look at what I was about to do.

"You see, before torturing you, I'd like to ask some questions. I hope that's alright with you guys," I said in an overly sweet tone that caused them all to squirm because I knew my eyes were anything but sweet.

"So tell me, why did you force yourself on that poor girl?" I ask as I twirled the dagger between my fingers. They all looked at each other but let out nothing.

I was about to ask them the question again when the middle one spoke. He looked me straight in the eye, his eyes only held hatred which surprised me slightly but also excited the monstrous side of me.

"That whore deserved it. And we didn't do anything bad, we just fucked her, hard." He spat the words out. I punched the rogue straight in the face, the sickening crunch of the bones in his nose cracking satisfied me.

Blood trickled down his nose but he didn't even falter slightly, instead, he glared at me with even more hatred. Who the fuck does this rogue think he is?

"You fucking raped her, you piece of shits!" I yelled loudly at them, punching the guy in the middle repeatedly.

"She was a fucking whore! She deserved it!" the guy yelled once again. I dropped my fists and grabbed the dagger that laid on the floor, I stabbed the guy in his arm which resulted in a hiss.

"No, she fucking wasn't. You mothefuckers!" I yelled as I stabbed his other arm. He let out a little cry of pain as I twisted the dagger before roughly taking it out.

"Questioning is done, now to have some fun," I said, a smirk appeared on my face when I picked the whip up.

Turning towards them, I looked at them with a smile before going behind them. I brought the whip down on the guy in the middle with as much force I could muster. The guy arched his back in pain, hissing loudly.

I brought the whip down on him again, this time with even more force. The guy hissed once again. The fact that he didn't once plead to me to stop surprised me and impressed me. He was strong which would make breaking him even more fun.

After about an hour, I was done with the three of them. The other two were pretty easy to break but the one in the middle wasn't and for that reason, I had put him in another cell. The guards would deal with the other two while I deal with the middle one. I really need to know his name because I can't keep calling him middle one and I know for sure that he won't be leaving anytime soon.

I looked at the guys to see their shirts, that were now in shreds, sticking to their skin which was matted with blood. Their blood even dripped down to the floor creating a puddle.

I looked down at myself to see my clothes coated with blood. I exit the cell, running a finger through my hair, I felt something wet and noticed that my hair now also had blood in it since my hands were covered in it. I sighed, wonderful.

I went straight to one of the guest rooms we had since I didn't want my mate to see me like this.

Not like she hasn't seen blood or cells, right?

I sighed angrily. Of course, she has. She was forced to live with a monster like me.

After taking a cold shower, I decided to head back to our room. I knocked on the door lightly even though I knew I could just enter it without doing that. I heard a soft 'come in'. I was about to open the door when a sniffle stopped me. Was she crying?

I opened the door and looked around in alarm. My angel quickly wiped the evidence of her crying but I already knew.

"Are you crying?" I asked even though I knew the answer, I just wanted to know her answer. She looked at me, shaking her head furiously, her nose and eyes still red from crying.

"Okay, let me change that a bit, hmm? You are crying but why?" I asked, tilting my head to the side slightly, trying to know the reason behind her tears.

I was sure that it was because of me but I still asked. Why? I don't know myself.

"I-I just miss my family, that's all." she lies, I sigh, her lying skills suck but she still tries. She had asked me to not hide anything and now she's hiding stuff from me.

"You do know that you suck at lying, angel. Don't you?" I asked moving towards my side of the bed and laying down, facing my angel. Angel. A fallen one who had her wings clipped and was claimed by a ruthless demon. Me.

"I'm not lyi-" I cut her off by giving her an 'are you kidding me?' look. She narrows her eyes at me before diverting them to her lap. She seemed nervous which indicated to me that I wasn't going to like what she was about to say.

"I can't live here," she whispered, her words were barely audible but I still heard her. My whole body felt as if it had shut down. She was going to reject and leave me.

I know I deserved it. But I just couldn't bring myself to let her go. Call me selfish but I just couldn't. After so many years of living in the dark, I finally saw the light. I couldn't just let it go. I wanted - no, needed her.

"I-you w-ant to rej-ect me?" I felt my throat closing in on me when I uttered those words. She looked at me with wide eyes shaking her head.

"No, no. I just.. I just can't stay here now. I need a break. I will come back." she says biting her lip, her eyes diverting back to her lap. I felt my heartbeat again at her words. She wasn't going to reject me.

"Where will you go?" I ask with a heavy heart, I couldn't keep her caged here.

"To my parents," she said, I nodded and sighed. I didn't know what to do. I wanted to let her go but I just couldn't bring myself to do it.

"W.. Will I be able to visit you?" I asked, maybe she would let me visit her. She shrugged slightly, her eyes still not leaving her lap.

"Please don't hurt yourself."

I looked at her with wide eyes. Moving towards her, I put my hands on her cheeks and made her look at me. The moment her blue orbs connected with mine, I felt at peace. She was the only one that could calm the storm down in my head.

"I won't, I promise. What about the girl though?" I asked, the girl had seemed to warm up with my angel a little.

"I know that Jax will take great care of her in my absence. She is her mate after all," she said, I nodded. He would probably be the best person to be with her for now.

"Okay then, when do you want to leave?" I asked taking in a deep breath. She looked at me with her eyes slightly wide, she probably wasn't expecting me to let her go. Honestly, I wasn't either but I knew I couldn't be selfish.

"T-tomorrow," she said, I nodded at that. I had one more night with my little angel so I should make the most of it. Who knows when she'll come back? If she'll come back.

"May I take you somewhere out today?" I asked with hope shining in my eyes. She looked at me and nodded her head with a small smile playing on her lips.

"Okay good, be prepared, in an hour?" I ask because I wasn't sure how long it would take her to get ready. I didn't have anything planned either so I needed to act fast.

"Yea that would be enough," she said, I nodded my head before standing up, she stood up as well. I slightly bent down and placed a small kiss on her forehead, letting my lips linger there for a while.

Pulling away, I smiled at her red cheeks. She was just too adorable. She bent her head down so her hair curtained her face, hiding her adorable blush. I chuckled at that and tucked her hair back, smiling as the blush on her cheeks deepened.

"Don't hide it, you look adorable while blushing. And be ready at 8 angel." I said before exiting the room.
