Maybe additional ending?

He glanced around the lawn in front of the house and let out a deep breathe. He slowly glanced around taking in the slow rush of memories that came to him. He closed his eyes and took a deep inward breathe and felt his body grow more excited at the thought of meeting his family once more.

Will they recognize him? Well obviously not in body but he hoped they would after he told them the truth. That was it. This was it. He was staying by his wife's side no matter what. Ex-wife. No matter how long he had again in this body. In this mind that wasn't his. He was running out of time. And he was okay with the end result...for he would be with Kailey. But he needed to do the right thing by his family. His sons needed him.

He was still accosted by the flashes he was receiving. The cloakroom where they had their first argument. The drawing room where his wife threw up then took a pregnancy test that led to the cloakroom incident. He unconsciously rubbed his forearm where she had hit him when she had thrown up. She had ran out and returned a few minutes later rushing into the bathroom and emerging a while later and decked him. He smiled at that past thought. The study where he was sure their first born was conceived.

Did he love his wife?...No he wasn't in-love with her. His ex-wife now, he reminded himself. He had respect for her. He was certain he was in-love with Kailey. His now wife. But a man like him didn't let things like emotions distract him from what was important. He never did. He won't start now.

He walked straight up to the front door and knocked.

Max woke up a bit lightheaded. Why was he dreaming he was Louis? He was confused. He remembered going to bed last night with Kailey packing up their clothing to head back home from their honeymoon. He was tired because he had the entire forested area almost to themselves, in the private resort. And he made use of it. He reached out to her feeling the body warmth. He opened his eyes in alarm as he felt a male. A very grown man's beard. His eyes flew open.

He felt the roaring in his brain. Everything rushing in but nothing registering to him.

He felt it in his gut.

No no no...

He was happy dammit and now as he looked around still disoriented he saw he was on a plane.

Please not again.

He got up in a panic and searched the plane careful not to use his ability of speed but Kailey was nowhere to be found! He searched the plane. She was gone! She was missing from the flight. He calmly took his seat, his mind working out the facts quickly.

She was never in the flight to begin with. The seat next to him was occupied by an elderly man who, thank goodness, was asleep.

He knew the answer immediately without there even being a question.! Louis happened! But how? There was no why...He knew why. His family of course. Max now understood what caused Louis to act the way he did. Family. His own little family. His sons. His wife. Max would have done the same in his position he realized.

At that time the seat belt sigh illuminated followed by, "Ladies and gentlemen, the Captain has turned on the fasten seat belt sign. We are now crossing a zone of turbulence. Please return your seats and keep your seat belts fastened. Thank you."

The flight attendant looked at him and smiled. "Please be seated sir."

Max knew better than to argue with him. He took his seat and raised his hand towards the attendant in surrender. He was confused but still figured out that some time had passed since his Tobago honeymoon with his wife. What plagued him was how long was it this time. He had no bag to search to figure out what flight he was on or how long it would take. No cell phone. His bag must be above his head! He glanced up and saw a duffel bag. Must be his he figured. He doubted that Louis packed a suit case.

Was he coming or going?

He knew it was not a between the islands flight because this was a huge craft and not the custom small planes.

The no smoking light blinked.

Finally! His mind was going in crazy circles trying to figure out what Louis had been doing.

He watched as a mother fussed over her baby. A little girl slept in her seat but leaned over toward a man that Max assumed was her father who smiled as he kissed her forehead. An elderly couple looked to be in-love after a lifetime together. Max wanted it all. He could have had it all. He's supposed to have it all. Dammit! His wife was pregnant!

"Ladies and gentlemen, as we start our descent, please make sure your seat backs and tray tables are in their full upright position. Make sure your seat belt is securely fastened and all carry-on luggage is stowed underneath the seat in front of you or in the overhead bins. Thank you."

A few minutes later he finally heard it, "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Piarco International Airport ? Local time is 5pm. We do hope..."

His mind blanked off the rest.

He was back in Trinidad and it was two years later.
