Chapter 38: Awakening

*6 years have passed in the human world, yet only 3 years have passed in the underworld*

Elijah’s POV:

“What should I do with you?” I said to the human girl laying down on the floor, she looked like a corpse already. Maybe I should just kill her and feed it to the warlocks outside of these walls? But then again, I could still use her body for a little while longer...

“Please.....” The woman whimpered underneath her breath. Grabbing her by the hair, I lifted her head high enough for me to hear. The unpleasant grunts left her mouth as she cried to the pain her body was in. The blood that was trickling down past her forehead showed how hard I threw her to the ground early. And her naked body was completely covered and bruises that it was hard to tell what her natural skin color looked like.

“Speak up, or I won’t hesitate to rip off that tongue of yours,” I said to the human girl with an annoyed look on my face. She then finally opened her mouth and echoed the words throughout the dungeon.

“...kill..me...” She said bluntly as she looked up at me with those eyes that lost their color. I could see the emptiness in her soul that not even devouring her heart would be worth a meal. I then yanked her hair tightly and threw her body so viciously against the hard concrete wall. As her body slammed against the cold wet harden floor, I heard a few of her bones crack as well of some of her blood coming out of her mouth.

“This is so f*cking boring,” I said to myself agitated as I brushed my hair back. I then began to buckle up my pants as I made my way out of the cellar. However, I came to a sudden stop when I heard the human still wheezing in utter pain.

“So your still alive? I should have thrown you harder.” I voiced out loudly enough for her to hear, giving a pleasant smirk I saw her half-broken body laying down on her own blood. Humans are so disgusting and so messy too...

“Carla!” My voice shouted loudly enough for the whole mansion to hear it. I waited for a good 10 seconds until a black mist surrounded inside the cellar. Carla’s body soon appeared in front of me, she came to her knees and bowed her head down.

“Yes my Lord, you called?” She said as she continued to stay on her knees.

“Try and see if you can fix that half-broken corpse. If not, then just throw her to the valley streets and let the warlocks do what they want with it.” I commanded her as I exited the room.

“Yes, my king.” I heard her respond as I made my way up the stairs.

Opening the door, I saw many naked women lying unconscious on the floor. Some we’re dead with their hearts being ripped out of there chests, and while others laid there waiting and wanting to die. Some held the look of death and in their eyes, they looked like they were completely hallowed and didn’t care what was happening to them anymore. However, some still begged and cried for their life to be spared. It was so pathetic that I can just laugh by the sight of looking at them cower.

“Crow! What did I say about cleaning up after yourself!” I shouted with annoyance as I stepped on the bodies laying out in front of me.

“Sorry brother, I was going to clean up after I was done filling myself up,” Crow responded as I watched him tear into a human girl’s chest. Her painful screams could be heard throughout the rooms until she finally became silent. Her beating heart was now in Crow’s hands as he began to consume it with his wild addiction. Yet that didn’t stop him from still f*cking the corpse he was holding until he was satisfied.

“You either f*ck it when it’s alive or eat it. You can’t do both dum*ass!” I shouted at him as he continued to lay on the carpet floor.

“I know it’s useless to f*ck it when it’s dead, but it’s such a waste of a good body don’t you think?!” Crow explained as he stood himself up to look at me.

“That’s why you f*ck it when it’s alive. There’s no point in doing it once it’s dead. You won’t gain any life energy from it once its soul has been removed.” I explained to him as I approached where he was standing.

“I know....it’s just so hard to control this demon inside me ever since I made a contract with it.” He explained as he wiped the blood from his mouth.

“Listen, I know how difficult it is to maintain control. But if you can’t do it, it will consume you and you will die.” I continued to explain to him as I came to a stop in front of him.

“I know that little brother, more then you’ll ever know.” He answered back bluntly with annoyance in his eyes.

“Watch how you speak to me, we may have fathers blood running through our veins. But I am now your king, so don’t think I won’t kill you just because we’re half-siblings.” I growled at him with anger as I grabbed hold of his shirt.

“Now now, let’s not fight over something so trivial.” Emily voiced out from behind me as she hung on to my arm. She was once again naked and I could smell the heavy stench of male blood leaving her breath.

“Put some f*cking clothes on Emily!” Crow shouted with annoyance as he pulled himself away from me. He looked at the both of us with uneasiness in his eyes, he then began to drag some of the bodies down into the cellar where we kept the corpses to be burned.

“He’s such a hothead, isn’t he,” Emily responded with a snicker as she wrapped her arms around my neck.

“How about we both go upstairs and have some fun, it’s been so long since I last felt your c*ck inside me.” She said with a twisted smile as she leaned her lips closer to mine.

“If your still unsatisfied, then go downstairs until your pussy is filled with human d*cks,” I said to her as I pushed her away from me. I then turned myself around and began to take a few steps away from her until I heard her speak.

“You know your the only one that can satisfy me, Elijah!” She shouted her words at me with frustration as she grabbed hold of my hand. I then quickly turned myself around and grabbed her neck so tightly that any normal person’s neck would have snapped right on queue.

“Don’t you ever raise your voice at me! An I don’t f*cken care if I satisfy you because you could never satisfy me you b*tch.” I yelled at her with fury in my voice as I heard her struggling to breathe from my grasp. I could feel the change if my eye color changing black as I peered into Emily’s eyes. She held on to my arm with her trembling hands as she tried to speak.

“I...I’m so... sorry..” She managed to word out, releasing my hold on her neck. I watched her fall to the ground gasping for air as she grunted in pain.

“Where’s Felix.” I bluntly asked her as I turned myself away. Emily could be such a pain in the ass, however, she is the only one that can almost satisfy me. Yet I gain no type of energy when I f*ck her, so she’s completely useless to me when it comes to that.

“He’s....where he’s always at...” She responded faintly as she grabbed my ankle. Looking down I noticed that she was smiling at me in complete pleasure, I keep forgetting that she loves feeling the pain I give her.

“Oh, my king....you could be a bit rougher with me if you want.” She continued to speak to me as she laid on the ground like a dog in heat. She began to finger herself so slowly as she stared so flirtatiously into my eyes. I could smell the disgusting scent of human semen living her womb as she kept playing with herself.

“Don’t. Touch. Me.” I warned her as I pulled away from her. I then left her there with the rest of the corpses as I made my way upstairs. I could hear her dramatic moans leaving her mouth as I stepped farther away from her. As I got closer to Felix’s room, I heard a faint melody coming from the hall. It was the piano again, he always seems to be playing it. Reaching his room, I let myself in as I spotted him sitting down at the same spot facing the mirror. His piano was quite big, it was white and a very old antique practically.

“An what do I owe for the king to come to my room personally,” Felix asked of me as he continued to play his song.

“Can you play anything else that’s less depressing, I haven’t seen you in a year and you’re still up here playing with that thing,” I said to Felix as I approached him, his fingers soon came to a stop as he paused his fingers on the keynotes of the piano. He then stood himself up and turned around to face me, taking a light bow, he then sat back done on his chair.

“You call it depressing, I call it relaxing. I’m glad to see you’re doing well Elijah, but that’s to be expected. After all, you do take after our father.” He responded with a smirk, he then averted my eyes and looked out the window waiting for what I had to say.

“I’m not here to discuss the past with you, I’m here to give you an order. Brother.” I voiced out towards him as I gave a tensed stare.

“Your word is my command, my king,” he said so casually as he grabbed a stuffed bunny doll near his desk.
After my conversations with Felix was done, I decided to go to my room. Closing the door behind me, I ripped off my shirt that was covered in human filth. I can never get used to the human smell of blood, it’s so revolting! Throwing it across the room, I sat myself down on the bed inhaling deeply. I then heard the same melody beginning to play once again, it was very faint but I knew Felix was playing his piano again.

“Luna,” I said her name silently as I looked out of my window. Images of her face began to flash in my mind again, her small fragile body that I haven’t held in years. Her sweet voice that made me feel so calm to listen to still replays in the back of my head. I don’t know how many times I’ve tried to push these thoughts away, but no matter what I did. I always end up thinking about her.

As I opened the drawer next to me, I pulled out the mirror that I haven’t looked into in months. I couldn’t handle what I was seeing, I couldn’t fathom how happy she was without me. How she was able to move on so freely with someone else, just watching her body get soil by that disgusting scum of a human. It made my skin crawl and my blood boil, it made me want to go berserk just even picturing them together.

Here I thought I knew what heartbreak was when I had to leave her. How wrong I was, nothing hurts more than seeing the person you love being with someone else...

“Show me.....Luna.” It’s been a while since I said those words, and every-time I did. I would always regret it because I would always see ‘him’ with her. Gripping the hand mirror tightly, I finally saw her appearing in the mirror. However what I saw made me want to go on a killing spree, I watched as Luna took her pregnancy test’s and the results were what made me want to kill anything on sight. The way she rubbed her tummy with tenderness and the way that she smiled in the end. It was quite clear in my eyes that she was going to have a baby. His baby...the thought of that put my mind in pure rage!

“I’LL KILL HIM!!!!!! AN HIS F*CKEN UNBORN CHILD!!!!!” I growled ferociously as I threw the mirror across the room! The shattered glass went everywhere around the room as it hit the wall. My bones began to crack and my room began to shake! all the windows in my room shattered into tiny fragments, the broken glass scattered as I stood there on my own two feet. My inner demon was craving to go on a rampage. I couldn’t put it into words how angry I was, the melody of the piano came to a sudden stop as I heard multiple footsteps coming towards my room.

“My Lord! What’s wrong!” Emily yelled out with worry as she barged into my room.

“Emily, you can’t just walk into his room unannounced!” Felix shouted from behind her as he entered the room as well.

“What’s going on?!” Crow responded loudly as he came in a hurry.

I watched as all three of them stood in front of my door and they all watched in horror as my eyes were a solid black, my fingernails have turned to sharp claws. And the horns on my head became visible for them to see, this is what I was. What we were, a demon that everyone feared.

“Carla,” I growled out viciously as I continued to stare at everyone with killing intent. I was so close to losing control that I almost lost myself to the darkness that was swallowing my heart. No one in this world can control me once I lose all of reality.

“Yes! My king.” Carla voiced out loudly as she rushed into my room frighteningly. She was afraid of my appearance since anyone who did see my true form never lived to see the next day.

“Prepare an extra room, one with a lock,” I said to her sternly as I stood there trying to not lose my composer. I then watched her take a bow as she quickly left to carry out my order. Turning myself around I began to take a deep breath in and tried to keep myself from doing something I’ll regret.

“Anyone who values there lives, leave this room,” I said it as calmly as I can, I felt my eyes slowly changing back to its original color. An without a single word, I heard them one by one leaving my room. Except for one of them...

“Did you not hear what I said, Felix,” I shouted loudly towards him as I turned myself around. I then quickly walked to where he was standing and grabbed the collar of his shirt.

“I heard you clearly, Elijah. I just have one question.” Felix responded calmly as he stood there unfazed. I could see the lack of fear in his eyes as I looked deeply into them, he wasn’t afraid of me. In fact, I think he was the only one who ever challenged me and lived.

Letting his collar go, I pushed him away from me as I grabbed my jacket off the chair.

“Are you going to bring her here?” Felix asked with a bit of hesitation in his voice.

“What I do, is none of your concern,” I responded as I put the jacket on.

“I understand that. I’m just saying that bringing her here, will cause.....some consequences.” He voiced out with concern, he then finally left the room closing the door behind him. Placing my hand on the desk, I looked at the shattered window and noticed that nightfall was coming.

“Raven,” I whispered out quietly as I waited for her to come from the shadows. It’s really unfortunate for me that she can’t come out during the daylight, so the only right time to use her is during the night. I soon felt a heavy presence forming behind as I continued to look at the night sky coming out.

“Yes, my king.” Raven quietly voiced out as she approached me from behind.

“I think it’s time I pay a visit to the human world,” I said to her as I turned to face her, though I couldn’t see her face as it was covered by the thick black hoodie she always wore.

“After all these years, you still couldn’t forget about her. You must know Elijah, that it’s been 6 years in the human world. However, time goes very slow here, it’s only been 3 years since you finally took control of your power. Are you sure you want to go, you have changed drastically to how you once were.”

“I have my reasons to go to the human world, you will not question what I do. You will only follow what I say, do you understand.” I said to her strictly as I began to walk towards the door. I then turned my head to the side to see her bow apologetically.

“Now then, make sure everything is in order until I get back. An make sure to inform the others of my absence.” I said to her as I opened the door.

“Of course, but when will we expect you to come back home, my lord.”

“It shouldn’t take too long. After all, I’m just taking back what belongs to me.” I said to her as I exit the room.

Luna, I think I made you wait long enough. You’ve gotten too comfortable with your new life, so it’s time for you to come back to me...
