A Word From A Brilliant Mind
Author's Note.
I like to consider myself to be one of the greatest literary minds that happen to exist in this terrible period of time and space in this godforsaken universe. Unlike other people my age, I am using my talent while the ideas can fully float around in my brain, instead of waiting and going through lives boring necessities, such as eating food, socialising and participating in pointless rituals such as drinking alcohol and wasting my time on things that are going to happen. My name is Ernest Conall and this is the only the start of the book that I think will change lives and improve them to great extents after reading this.
Right now, you are probably thinking that I am snobbish, arrogant and being honest a bit of an arse. And being honest, you are not wrong. It is true and I am being true to myself by being able to admit that. I probably have few redeeming qualities in his world, I probably do but I am not gifted with being able to see myself from an outside perspective. If I could do that, it might make life’s problems easier to deal with. And it might make my writing prompts much easier to answer, when I am asked with pointless questions such as
‘How would you describe your best friend and how would they describe you?'
It is a horrible question isn’t it?
Well there is no point in wasting your time reading the author's notes, while there is a proper book that you could be reading and it is probably more interesting that just the scribblings of a teenager. If I could have it my way, I would miss this bit out. But apparently I need this to make me more 'human'.
Well that is just it now, just read the dammed book. Hopefully, your life might change. If it doesn’t, well at least I have tried.
If there is a book burning that happens because of this book, then I will consider it to be a goal achieved. I have made people think, and that is something that I plan to do for the rest of my life.
