Chapter 1
Helia
"So Helia, I hope you had fun." Brandon said with an notorious smirk. I slapped my face in annoyance. When they said that they were going to some fun place, I didn't have a single idea that they were going for a movie and that too an action thriller. I, being the idiot I am, readily agreed to go with my 'friends'.
When I realized that it was an action thriller, I could do nothing but see all the violence. I am a pacifist and a really proud one. After seeing all that massacre, I was sure that I wouldn't get any sleep today. Nice friends they were. Note the sarcasm.
"You've done enough leg pulling, Brandy. Go drink yourself and get drunk." I said, laughing at the last part. It was his hilarious nickname. Imagine, Brandy drinking Brandy. Wow, simply wow.
"Helia-" Brandon was about to punch me but I was saved by Sky.
"Chill, Brandy!" Sky said, laughing. We all laughed.
"Are you guys going to call me that?" Brandon said, pulling his sleeves up. Our eyes widened.
"Sorry, Brandon. I am sorry. I'll make sure that nobody calls you that again." Timmy said, fixing his spectacles in fear. He was the one who was most afraid of Brandon's punch, because he had suffered it.
"That's better." Brandon said.We nodded with laughter in our eyes. Then we all parted our ways. I went to the parking and unlocked my blue convertible. I sat in and slammed the door. I am the son of Saladin Knightly, the richest businessman in Gardenia. Everyone thought I was that spoilt kid of a rich man but I really wasn't very mean but I am quite an egoistic person.
I started the car and drove it out of the parking lot. I was on my way to home as I have to change into formal clothes for office. Even being an 19 year old didn't help me. I still had to go to office to get 'experienced'. At least, that's what Dad tells.
After 20 minutes of driving, I was on the most busiest roads of Gardenia. Unusually, the road was empty today. But still, I couldn't take a chance and drive the car fast. I kept the car on the it's current speed. All of a sudden,a car came running at an unimaginable speed towards... me? I was going to turn the car somewhere else to budge an accident but I realized, it was too late. The car slammed into my car and my head jerked and landed forcefully on the steering wheel. My head started bleeding heavily. But I was conscious.
I got out of the car and was about to dial the ambulance when suddenly my legs gave under me and I fell on the ground with a thud. I tried to get up but my legs just won't work. Now, I had started feeling dizzy. My eyelids were getting heavy. At last, I lost my consciousness and I fell down.
