My ten weeks in this stupid cast are finally done! "Ready to be free of that thing?" Riley asked me as we were in the doctors office waiting for the doctor.

"Yes. It's so itchy and uncomfortable." I scratched at it and smiled.

"I bet. I hate casts. They suck." He chuckled and a smirk appears on his face. A few more moments of silence passed for what seemed like ages, but the doctor came into the room and took away the silence.

"Hello, my name is Dr. Mar. I'm just going to saw off your cast. Takes a few seconds and the saw doesn't hurt, I promise." She got the saw ready and positioned my leg. "Ready?" She asked.

"Yes." I nodded my head and she began to cut the cast off.

"Alright, you're all done." She stood up an put the saw away and threw away the cast. It only took her like, 30 seconds to get it off.

"Thank you." I smiled.

"You're welcome. You folks have a nice day now."

"You too." Riley and I checked out and slid into his Porsche. "Can we go to the auto shop and see how Rick is doing?" I begged Riley.

"Yes. Let's go." He chuckled and drove out of the parking lot.

"Wait, I’m sorry. How much is it to fix my Jeep?" I looked at the auto repairmen.

"$50,000." He answered.

"I don't have that kind of money. In fact, I don't have any money at all. I don’t get why my insurance isn’t helping me out here.”

"Not my problem. You either pay me to fix it or you don't and I don't fix it. Your choice."

"Why you little-"

"Okay! Easy there doll face. Let me deal with this. How about you go over there and calm down." Riley held me back before I ripped the man's head off.

"But I-"

"Go."

"Ugh!" I stomped my foot like a toddler and walked away.

This is complete bullshit! These people just want my money to buy donuts for themselves. My poor baby is dying and they want $50,000! Ugh!

I crossed my arms viciously and scowled.

I saw Riley and the mechanic exchange a few words and Riley handed him a piece of paper.

What's he doing?

He looked at me and smiled causing my scowl to break a little and I gave him a smile back.

Riley wrapped up their conversation and walked over to me. "Alright doll face, it's time to go back to the university." He held out his hand and I took it and he helped me stand out of the chair.

"But what about Rick?" I whimpered.

"He'll be fine. I promise."

"But I don't have the money to fix him."

"It's okay. Just trust me, okay?"

"Okay." I looked back and saw Rick all smashed and beat up in the front.

I love you Rick. I'll be back, I promise.

A tear fell from my eye as we exited the building.

We got to the university and I sighed. "What's wrong doll face?" Riley looked at me and his face was full of concern.

"Rick means so much to me. No one gets it, he isn't just a Jeep to me. He's a person. I've had him for eleven years. He belonged to my dad. We bought him in 2004 when he first came out and then, my dad gave-well, I got the Jeep from my real dad." Tears swelled in my eyes at the thought of my dad.

"I promise, I'll do anything to get Rick back for you doll face." He pushed my hair away from my face and I looked at him. His touch was warm and it made me blush.

"Thank you. Why are you being so nice to me?" I smiled shyly at him.

"I just don't like to see my doll face cry."

"You're a good guy Riley."

"No, I'm not. I'm a terrible person."

"No you're not. All the things you've done for me are things good guys do."

"Yeah but I'm not the guy you think I am."

"Who are you then?"

"Riley Matthew Jones."

"I know that. But who are you?"

"You don't want to know." Riley got out of the Porsche and opened my door for me. I hopped out and we started walking back to our dorm room.

I wonder what he is hiding?

We got to our dorm hall and Riley got his key out and unlocked the door. "WELCOME BACK!" Ryan, Marcy, Janessa, and Justin all shouted as soon as Riley and I walked through the door.

"Wow. Thanks guys." I hugged all of them and smiled. They had cupcakes and Coke on a table. I grabbed a cupcake and bit into it. It was vanilla with vanilla frosting and sprinkles on it. They were sooo good. "These are delicious." I smiled with cupcake in my mouth.

"I made them." Janessa smiled and handed me a napkin.

"Thanks. They're super good."

"You're welcome and thank you." She sat next to Justin and leaned against him.

Marcy and Ryan were sitting on the floor. Marcy was in Ryan's lap and they looked happy and so did Janessa and Justin.

Well that didn't take long. Love is in the air and all over the place. It's so...sickening. I'm single and it sucks. But I'm happy for them.

I looked at Riley and found him on his bed eating a cupcake. The rest of the gang was in their own conversation, so I sat by Riley. "Hey doll face." He smiled at me.

"Hey sexy beast." I giggled.

"Feeling any better?"

"Yeah. Was this also planned by you?"

"Not this time. This was all Marcy and Janessa."

"Oh. Well thanks for being at the hospital with me."

"You're welcome doll face." He winked at me. I put some frosting from my cupcake on my finger and smeared it on his nose.

"Really?" He chuckled and smeared some frosting on my cheek. We both laughed and started painting each other's faces with frosting.

"No cupcake wars you two." Marcy warned us and Riley and I stopped painting each other.

"Sorry Mars." I giggled.

"You two are such children."

"Aw thanks." I stuck my tongue out at her and she started laughing.

A few more hours passed and everyone left, except Riley and I, of course. "I'm bored." I stated and laid upside down on my bed.

"So am I. Join the club, do you want to play a game?" He suggested.

"What game?"

"Truth or Dare?"

"Sure." I shrugged my shoulders and he smirked. But it wasn't his usual stupid smirk. It was like he was going to do something really bad to me that will please him.
