Today in class, we learned about time capsules.
Miss Swan said that we were all to bring in something that would tell everyone in the future about our lives. I’ve decided I will bring in Sophie the rabbit because Jenny says I’m getting too old for teddies. I’m not sure she’s right, but just in case, I’m putting her in the time capsule.
Miss Swan said that in a hundred years, or even longer, someone will discover our capsule and open it up to learn about us.
Isn’t that cool?
Although I’m not so sure what makes us special. If I were opening a capsule, I would want it to be from someone important like Mayor Joe or Santa. Miss said we were making history, and that was what counted. It made me think about my history. I can’t really remember anything past last week. So I am writing to you so that on your birthday you will remember today and remember Sophie because I wouldn’t want to forget her.
