You and I

You and I

It doesn’t matter what I do
My mind is filled with thoughts of you

Whether you’re by my side or far away
You’re in my thoughts night and day

I fall asleep and dream of you too
There’s no escape from loving you

People we know will never understand
How completely we have it all planned

Our future, our dreams, everything combined
A committed love, true and divine

I give all of me without a hint of doubt
Because I truly know we’ll work it all out

Just as I know your dedication is strong
It feels like it’s been this way all along

You are the key to the lock of my heart
I finally found my missing part

My soulmate, my lover, my very best friend,
My partner in arms to fight and defend

Romeo and Juliet
Bonnie and Clyde
