Risking it all

As they moved through the crowd Riley was surprised when a pretty blonde woman snaked her arms around Evan’s neck.

“Hello, Evan,” she said in a sultry voice. Riley’s eyes narrowed, she instantly hated this woman. Evan smiled and hugged her.

“Hey, Miranda, how are you?” he asked.

“Good, so what are you doing here?” she asked gently placing a kiss on his cheek, “Is she your girlfriend?”

“Oh, Riley? No we’re just friends,” Evan said with a shrug, “Going out dancing and all.”

“I think I’m getting tired. I’m ready to go home. Would you like to stay? I can catch a cab or something,” Riley said.

Evan pulled out of the woman’s arms, “Okay, let’s go then.”

“Oh I wouldn’t want to ruin your fun or anything,” Riley said, “You can stay. Don’t feel like you have to go with me.”

“No, I’m getting tired, too. Well, I’ll see you later Miranda,” Evan said kissing her cheek and following Riley to the door at a safe distance.

“So is Miranda a girlfriend or something?” Riley asked as they got to his car.

“Or something… Why are you jealous?” Evan asked opening the door for Riley.

“Why would I be jealous? We are after all, just friends,” Riley said looking out the window. She was jealous but she wouldn’t admit it to Evan. She didn’t have a right to be jealous since they weren’t dating. She hated Chris even more today for screwing that up. She couldn’t help but wonder what would have happened if she hadn’t dated him. Riley sighed, there’s no use wondering because what happened already happened. She didn’t have a time machine and she never would. They arrived at the house and Riley trudged to her room.

“Are you mad at me?” Evan asked following her into her room.

“No, I’m just tired,” Riley replied keeping her face turned away from him. She knew he would see the tears forming and she was crying over something she would never have.

“Why won’t you look at me then?” Evan asked.

“Just leave me alone, please,” Riley said with a sigh. Evan heard her breath catch and knew she was crying. He walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her.

“What’s wrong? Did I do something?” Evan asked.

“Nothing, it’s just stupid,” Riley said brushing tears off her cheeks.

“You looked very pretty tonight,” Evan said trying to cheer her up, “I had to swat guys off you like flies.”

“Yeah, you’re fired,” Riley said with a laugh.

“What?” Evan asked pretending to be offended.

“What? You’re asking what? Why else would I dress like this?” Riley asked turning to look at him.

“You were crying. You’re such a bad liar,” Evan said shaking his head. Riley glared at him and shoved his shoulder.

“What did I do?” Evan asked.

“Nothing, it’s not you Evan-,” Riley started shaking her head.

“Oh really, the ‘it’s not you it’s me’ card? Are you breaking up with me when we aren’t even dating?” Evan said with a laugh.

“No, I was just thinking about how stupid I was that summer,” Riley said looking down.

“I thought you were really nice that summer. Chris was stupid, but you were sweet,” Evan said pulling her into his arms and kissing the top of her head.

“Please Evan, you were the sweet one,” Riley said wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing his cheek.

“Were you dating Chris that night that I slept in your bed?” Evan asked lightly tracing her scar and then looking into her eyes, “I assumed you were because of the way he had come in the next morning yelling.”

“Yes, I told him we could secretly date just the day before,” Riley replied, “But I couldn’t just send you away when you were so upset.”

“Yeah, Cash kind of ruined me for girls. Now I always wonder if they are trustworthy or if they are going to cheat on me,” Evan replied frowning, “Why else have I not had a steady girlfriend since?”

“Do you think I’m trustworthy?” Riley asked playing with the collar of his shirt.

“I always thought you were. Why else would I hire you to work here? Plus the company car is not cheap, you know,” Evan replied. Riley smiled and kissed him. She was surprised when he returned the kiss and deepened it. He slid his tongue into her mouth and brushed her tongue with his own. Riley moaned and Evan pulled her against him. She felt a shiver just being near him. Riley ran her fingers through his silky locks and then down his chest. Riley unbuttoned his shirt and slid it off his shoulders with his vest while their tongues danced against each other.

Evan moaned and unzipped her dress. The dress fell to the floor and Evan’s assault on her body began. He kissed his way down her neck and he flicked her nipple with his tongue making her moan. Evan decided he liked the way she moaned and wanted to find ways of making her moan with pleasure. He picked her up and put her on the bed licking his way down her belly making her writhe with want. He slid off her underwear gliding his fingers down her legs. She wanted him to keep going but at the same time she was nervous about what would happen. Did she really want Evan to be her first? When she thought of him she thought of comfort and warmth, not passion. Yet now that was all she could think about around him. Did she really want to stop him and regret it later, or go through with it and enjoy it while it lasts? In the end she looked at his warm brown eyes and decided life was too short for regrets.

When his warm tongue licked her clit she lost all thought and gasped in pleasure. His tongue continued its glorious assault and he slid a finger inside making her moan and writhe against him. Evan smiled at her pleasure. He reached into his pocket and pulled a condom out of his wallet before letting his pants drop to the floor. He continued to lick her as he took off his boxers and put the condom on. Then he kissed his way back up her belly. Riley was begging for something but she didn’t know what. He kissed her neck and she could feel his head pushing at the entrance to her pussy. Riley moaned as the pleasure built up from the friction of him inside her. Then Evan pushed himself all the way in and Riley cried out in pain. She clenched his shoulders and bit her bottom lip.

“Oh Shit! Riley, oh my god I’m so sorry,” Even said wrapping his arms around her and holding her, “I didn’t know you were still a virgin. I’m so sorry. You should have told me.”

Riley took a couple of deep breaths as the pain subsided.

“It’s okay Evan,” Riley said kissing his neck and jaw and then making her way to his lips where she flicked her tongue out before gently sucking it. Evan moaned and then slowly slid out and in stretching her and giving her pleasure. The pain was gone and all that was left was a fire that seemed to keep building as he moved within her. His tongue slid into her mouth as he went back and forth inside her. It wasn’t long until all that pleasure that was building up exploded sending tingles all the way down to her toes. Riley cried out and Evan pushed into her feeling her muscles clench around him and he came right after her. Out of breath, Evan pulled out and went to the bathroom to take off the condom. He came back with a warm, wet washcloth and gently wiped the blood from her before throwing it on the ground. He slid into the bed next to her, taking her into his arms and pulling the covers over them. Riley sighed as she snuggled into him and closed her eyes.

Riley woke the next morning to Evan kissing her shoulder.

“I could wake up like this every morning,” Riley said putting her hand on his arm.

“Me, too. This is nice,” Evan replied squeezing her tighter.

“Miranda isn’t your girlfriend is she?” Riley asked remembering the blonde from the night before.

“No, she’s Rex’s sister,” Evan replied laughing, “It was cute to see you get jealous though.”

Riley glared at him, “So what exactly are we? Friends with benefits now?”

“I recall a talk on a plane where you said you would give your right arm for someone like me,” Evan said kissing her cheek and shoulder, “Is that still true?”

“Why? Are you going to take my arm?” Riley asked with a laugh. Evan laughed holding her close.

“No, but I would give my arm for someone like you,” Evan replied looking into her eyes, “I would have then and I still would now. I’m not Chris, I would never treat you like he did, but I can’t seem to keep away from you. I tried but it’s just too hard and I’m tired of fighting it. So would you mind dating someone like me?”

Riley looked at him her eyes tearing up and said, “Absolutely, Evan I’ve thought about you all the time. It’s hard because I have this scar and every time I see it I think of you. I know you could never be like Chris. I never thought you were. I just didn’t want you to start calling me a servant, too, but I know even if you were mad at me you never would. You have always been my sweet Evan and you are still gorgeous.”

Evan smiled and kissed her again. He pulled her close and made love to her again before taking a shower together. Riley didn’t feel like anything could bring her down. She got dressed and started making them breakfast. Evan came in and smelled the coffee.

“Yes, this is definitely working out for me. You know you really don’t have to make me breakfast every morning,” Evan said coming behind her and kissing her shoulder and wrapping his arms around her waist. Riley leaned back into him and smiled.

“I know, but I like to cook,” Riley replied.

“Then by all means, keep cooking. I like to eat,” Evan said with a laugh, “Especially when it tastes so good.”

“It’s nice to cook for someone who appreciates it, too,” Riley said with a laugh.
