On the ride back to the dorm, I wished I could have stayed with him longer or for him to come here and spend the night with me, but I didn't even bothered to even ask. I already spent a hell of a day with that man.
It was 10 pm when we left the mansion. Almost 12 hours of pure pain and pleasure. I had told Daniel I was so full when he offered dinner. He was a pure gentleman. Or seemed like it anyways. Was she falling in love with him? Absolutely. But she couldn't tell him. Not yet... maybe not ever. The relationship they had were only based off of two things: trust and control. Love was not in the cards.
I suddenly heard a knock at my door. When my eyes traveled to the door, a sight that did not please me at all welcomed her. Cody was leaning against the door.
"That guy is definitely waiting for you," Daniel joked.
"I can see that."
"I'll talk to him," Daniel reassured her while reaching out for her hand.
"Sorry but I don't want to lie to him anymore," withdrawing my hand.
He turned his head towards her and said in a stern tone, "Who said anything about lying?"
If Daniel was ready to confront his brother about their relationship, it might not seem like much to him but that was one huge step forward.
Cody's eyes narrowed as he saw Daniel getting out of the car that Michelle was in.
"What the hell were you doing out so late with him?" he demanded, the last two words thrown out with pure anger.
I rolled my eyes. "That's none of your business."
"You're fucking him, aren't you?!" he shook his head looking surprised, "I can't believe you. How could you fall for a player's charm? I thought you were better than that... Hell, how could you go out with your ex's brother?"
He took two steps forward as if to confront her, and that's when Daniel cut in and stopped him with his hand on his shoulder, "You do NOT get to talk to her like that."
"You do NOT get to lecture me," Cody shouted, his eyes filled with anger.
"You should see me in class, I'm a very decent teacher," Daniel said jokingly despite his stiffened body.
"Do you think this is funny?" Cody asked. "You had to take away from me the one girl who I truly cared about."
"He didn't take me away from you, you simply lost me because you are a pathological liar and a complete asshole."
"I might be a bit of a liar but when was I ever an asshole to you?"
"You started being suspicious of me the moment I met Daniel. And you didn't even noticed I dyed my hair..."
Cody shook his head. "Who notices that type of stuff?"
I pointed at Daniel, but Cody did everything he could to not want to throw a punch.
The next thing I know, Cody swung at Daniel who dodged the punch and punched Cody in the stomach, then a second blow to the jaw.
Cody groaned in pain but said, "This is not finished. WE are not finished."
"Oh, yes we are." I said sarcastically.
"You heard the girl," Daniel told him before adding, "Next time you come near her, we'll get a restraining order."
"Are you threatening me?" Cody, who started to walk away, turned to face his brother.
"Just a promise, little bro," Daniel said in a calm manner.
"You're not my brother, never have and never will be." Those were the last words that came out of his mouth before finally leaving.
"You can sure as hell say that again," I agreed jokingly.
A silent moment went by, before I said, "I guess that's it for today."
"Yes, I'm afraid so."
"Well, have a nice night," I told him as I got on my tiptoes and kissed him.
"You too, I have work to do," a smile covering his face.
"You're gonna work now?"
"From home, yes. I have a small project I have to get done by the end of the week."
"Oh, okay." I smiled at him.
"Thanks," he smiled, "be prepared for next Saturday to spend both the day and night with me. I don't care when or how you do your homework as long as it's not when you're with me of course."
"Of course," I said seriously before we started laughing.
