Dear you,

as usual, the best part of my day was walking down the school hallway, with a giant smile gracing my lips, showing off my straight white teeth, and you having the same expression. Our hands in a tight hold, and us basically skipping down the hallway.

After school we decided to go to your house to do the hours of homework we both have.

We walk in and your little brother runs up and gives me a hug before he even acknowledges you're there.

I laugh as your preteen sister distractedly walks down the stairs and says a quick hello and barley looking up from her phone.

After 3 hours of struggling with homework, we finish and decide to bake cookies. It's a Friday and I don't have to be home until 10.

By the end of it, my hair is doused in flour and your shirt is stained with egg yolk. But, we have some delicious cookies.

Your mom walks in right as the clock hits 6:30 with Chick-Fil-A in hand. She greets me with a hug, pulling out my favorite shake and nuggets. We sit down at the table as soon as your dad comes home, all of us devouring the mouthwatering food.

All throughout dinner it is filled with laughter and us all talking about the good things that happened throughout the day.

Your little brother tries to steal more than one cookie off the white china plate and your mom quickly tells him it's not healthy to eat too much sugar. I slip him an extra cookie before he giddily runs up the stairs and your sister only eats half of her cookie before dismissing herself.

Your parents go into the living room to watch their favorite tv show and we hear the loud chatter of the tv.

I quickly glance in there to see if I left my pencil case in there.

Instead, I find your parents cuddled up together. I begin to wonder if we will be like that. I truly believe we will be one day.

After finding my pencil case in my backpack, I set it on the stairs and head up stairs.

Your room is at the end of the hallway. As you being the oldest, you want the most privacy.

You change your shirt to a simple black tee with a purple and blue design on the back.

We lay in your bed and turn on your laptop to watch a show. Through the middle of it, I play with your fingers distractedly.

And then I wake up.
