Before starting this book, I want to make this clear that the female protagonist in the book has some mental issues due to the trauma triggered by some of the incidents in the book so it’s not going to be the average Werewolf/Lycan romance book where the mating bond would make everything happen and they’d jump right into sex.

It’s more of a slow-paced romance book with some character development. You need to be patient with the female protagonist and the other characters. Each of them has a past. This book does have some steamy scenes but they’d be at the later part of the book.

If you’re reading this book after reading Ace and Archer and expect it to be a very steamy story like theirs, then please don’t read. This book is written way more seriously.

Javier’s character also might seem slightly different in the book compared to the previous ones because he’s dealing with his own trauma and all the trouble that comes with his mate.

Also, you don’t need to read Ace and Archer first to read this book. You can read this book as a stand-alone book. You won’t miss out on anything, I promise.
