“Mummy, Daddy, this is the man I want to marry,” I announced to my parents, expecting them to be happy.
“Ok My daughter, we've heard.” my mom said, eyeing Ayodele.
“Good afternoon Sir, I'm Ayodele...” Ayodele tried to introduce himself but was interrupted.
“When he leaves, come and meet me. I and your mother wish to see you.” My dad said and left the living room with my mom.
What's wrong? They didn't even bother to say anything to Ayodele.
Or is it that they don't approve of him?
No, it's not possible. Maybe they are not just in a good mood.
“Baby what's wrong, why did your parents treat me like that? I don't understand what's going on.”Ayodele let out, on our way to his car.
“Don't bother love, maybe they are not just in a good mood today. I'll talk to them later.” I replied to him.
“Ok, bye.” He pecked my lips and entered the car.
“Temilade!” My husband, Ayodele, yelled for me.
“Yes, dear.” I retied my wrapper.
“Where is my food? You this woman, you are testing my patience o. I've gone since morning and now I'm back after a stressful day but I can't find my food.”He yelled, making me tremble out of fear.
“I’m sorry dear, we ran out of cooking gas so I decided to wait for you to come back so that you'll be able to give me money to fill it,” I said, trying to hug him.
“What kind of rubbish are you spewing out of your mouth. ”He pushed me and I fell to the ground.
“I’m sorry,” I begged but he didn't listen. He started punching and kicking me.
“Ayodele please stop. I'm sorry. Ahaaa.” I shouted out of pain but he kept beating me up.
“Useless woman.”He said after beating me and went out of the house
It's my fault, I should have found a way to cook for him instead of waiting. I can't blame him, I'm the useless wife. This is not the first time he has beaten me. It has been going on for the past two years. I love him but I can't blame him for beating me up because everything is my fault.
I waited for my husband till 2 am, he was still not yet back so I decided to read a book till I slept off.
Suddenly, I felt someone touching me all over my body. My husband must be back, I smiled inwardly.
“Ayodele, I’m sorry for what happened earlier...”I tried to apologize.
“It’s ok dear.” he cut me off with a kiss and took his stress out on my body.
That's how it goes every time I make him angry. He beats me up, leaves the house, I apologize when he comes back and he uses me to satisfy his manly needs. I'm always glad when he does that because it makes me know that he still loves me.
I hope you enjoyed it.
The chapters are going to be short so you'll just have to manage.
The main thing is that I'm able to stress my point.
Hit that star and also let me know what you think about this book.
