Chapter 31 [Part 1]

I gave a sigh of relief. I’ve finally found my wife, it won’t be long before she is with me and I can take her home. Then we can forget this ever happened and things can go back to the way they were. We were happy, together. We will be happy together again.

I kept an eye on the room Sienna and her Dad were in. I just had to wait until Sienna’s Dad left without Sienna again. It is bound to happen. There is no way he can stay in the hotel room all day. He has to get food, they can’t live off hotel food forever. Well.... they could but it wouldn’t be healthy for the long run.

I didn’t have to wait long. In the afternoon, Sienna’s Dad stepped out of the room. I made sure he was in the elevator and the door had shut before I made my way to their room quickly.

I hurriedly knocked on the door. Who knows how long I have before Jake is back, I have to get Sienna and leave before he comes back.

As I knocked on the door, I heard no sound but I knew Sienna was in there, she had to be. Where else could she be?

I continued knocking regardless. After a minute, I heard someone walk to the door.

“Who is it?” a voice asked from the other side of the door. I recognised the voice immediately. It was the sultry voice of my wife’s. It was Sienna.

“Sienna, it’s me. Open the door before your Dad comes back,” I rushed out.

The door instantly opened to reveal the beauty I had been searching for all this time. I didn’t know what to say as our eyes locked. Sienna didn’t know what to say either but then she flew into my arms and our lips met for a very passionate kiss. I’ve missed this.

“Jack, you found me,” Sienna sighed in relief when the kiss was over. “How?”

“That doesn’t matter right now. We need to get out of here,”

“Of course,” Sienna agreed but when I opened the door, we came face to face with Jake.

“What are you doing here?” Jake asked me with narrowed eyes.

“I’ve come to take my wife home, if you’ll excuse us,” I replied and took a step forward but Jake blocked the doorway.

“You aren’t going anywhere with my daughter. She stays with me,”

“I don’t think so,” I disagreed and before Jake could argue, I punched him in the face and he fell to the ground unconscious.

Sienna gasped. “Is he ok?”

“He’ll be fine,” I assured her. Jake was pefectly fine, his chest was moving and he’d come round. “We need to get out of here before he wakes up,”

We carefully but hurriedly stepped over Jake’s body and walked down the hall to the room I was staying in.

“Jack-” Sienna began to say once we were inside my room.

“Shhhh my love,” I shushed Sienna with a finger to her lips. “I have missed you,”

Without another word, I placed my lips on Sienna’s. We had to make up for the time we’d lost together.
