"Oh my doubledamn, you just danced with our prince! How was it? What did you talked about?" Izzy gushed over as soon as I was out of the dance floor. "It was not fun at all."

"Oh do shut up. Prince Levi is sweet and oh so gorgeous, there's no way in pits did you not enjoy that dance." I rolled my eyes at her.

"Well, he's coming this way. Assuming that he does not want a repeat of our verbal showdown. You'll be enjoying the attention now."

I smirked at her and nudge for her to met the prince half way. She laughed at me and accepted the prince's hand while shaking her head in disbelief.
I shrugged my shoulder and paved my way to the glass windows leading to the garden.

It was so quiet here unlike the party inside. It's like entering a whole new world where the only sound you'll hear are the crickets and rustling of the leaves.

I walked down the path of cobblestones that goes deeper in the gardens and further away from the party. It lead me straight to a fountain, where the only lighting is the from the moon above.

Looking up the sky, I imagined myself in my own garden and counting the stars and naming them as I walk toward the bench near the fountain. This was the game my father and I invented when I was little. He points every stars in the sky and names them silly names.
I sat down and released a sigh. Trying to calm my nerves. I should not have come here but I had no choice in the matter. I never liked parties, if I could have my way, I would be holed up to my room reading books or hanging out with ames and franny.

"I miss you dad," I whispered at the stars .
