After I told them what happened in Alec’s dorm room, they were shocked and very angry.
“How could he!” Angie shouts.
“He’s such a bastard! Bri, you deserve better.”
“Aww, thanks Ace!”
“No problem, as I said, you deserve better.” When Ace said that I think he was trying to imply something.
“Sorry Bri, its 10:00, I have to go back to my dorm.”
“Ok, bye Ace!” When Ace left Angie came to sit next to me, on my bed.
“Hey, are you sure you’re ok?”
“Yeah, don’t worry Angie. I'm good. When I caught him, I wasn’t even that sad. Honestly, I don’t think I was ever in love with him.”
“Wow, damn, your love life is complicated.” After Angie’s comment, me and her burst out laughing.
“Hey do you want to watch a m-” Angie gets cut off by my phone. I look at the caller ID and see its my mom that's calling.
“Hold on Angie, I gotta take this.” I see her nod her head as I walk into the other room to take this call. I press accept on the call.
“Oh hi Bri, Dear!”
“Hey! Why are you calling me so late at night?”
“Sorry, I didn't call you sooner. The Wayne family was over!” Ahh, the Wayne family. My family has been friends with them since I was 11 years old.
“Ok. What did you call me for?”
“I called you to talk about Christmas. I bought you and Alec a plane ticket for Houston. I cant wait to meet him, by the way. I'm so excited! My baby got herself a boy-” I cut her off.
“Uh, mom, sorry to tell you. But, he's not my boyfriend anymore. I broke up with him.”
“Oh, well, I'm sorry to hear that. Anyways, you can bring another person, if you want.”
“Ok! I'll bring my friend, Angelina.”
“Ok, mom, bye. Ill see you on Christ-”
“Actually, Bri, I forgot to tell you something. Me and Elijah won’t be here for Christmas. Kimberly invited us for a trip. So, for Christmas it will be you, your brothers, your sisters, and the Wayne children.” WHAT!
“Oh, ok, mom, that's fine." No, its not fine!
“Thank you for understanding, Sweetie!”
“By-” I get cut off by her disconnecting the call.
“And she hung up.” I mutter with a sigh. Might as well go to bed. I'm not looking forward to Christmas. Not one bit.
Tomorrow, I'll have to ask Angie if shell come with me. And with that thought, my head hits my pillow and I go out like a light.
