With that very first breath plunging underwater
She forgot she’s someone daughter
All her life she tried to hide
Forcing the feelings inside
Living each day with a lie
She wants to close her eyes and die
And with each tear she shed
She prays to her mother to let her go instead
She wants to thank for all the love
In this life of twists and curves
All these time shared
It’s nice to know someone cared
She wants to go to a happy place
A smile on her face
But as she lives each day
She could only pray
A day where she could be free
But no one could see
The pain inside
She wants to die
At the end of her trail
She only wishes she could've said: "Farewell."
