“I take it your mission was successful.” Lady Konstantina greeted them as they walked inside their home.

Lydia ran over to the woman and gave her a great big hug and a kiss on the cheek.

“Thanks so much for everything you’ve done for us.” She showed her appreciation to the elderly woman who made sure everything was wrapped up perfectly.

“See, I told you. This young lady knows exactly how to greet Gram Gram. If you don’t get on board, my sweet boy... I am replacing you.” There was so much laughter, Lydia hadn’t realized there were more people in the downstairs lounge than she had previously noticed.

Doctor Hubert, her father, Hyun, and Ruha were all there. She looked at Lady Konstantina to find that the woman had the grandest smile on her face.

“You did this?” She asked tears streaming from her eyes.

“Yes, dear. I knew after a day like today, you would need the love of your real family around you.”

Lydia hugged and kissed everyone. There was only one other person in the room she had no expectation of sharing their success with until the woman walked up to her and gave her the tightest hug and a kiss on the cheek.

“Thank you so much for helping my sister. Willow has been through so much. Because of you selflessly leading us to them, she has been redeemed. Thank you so much.” Lydia was so astounded by the presence of Ryder’s mother. She allowed all the tears she was holding back to flow. Lady Konstantina assured them when they visited her that she was well aware of what the couple had been dealing with and that she had a plan to end it all.

The group walked into the lounge area and rejoiced over their victory.

“What happened to Heaven?” She asked her husband. Her father supplied the answer.

“It seems that she and her mother cashed in a life insurance policy after her fake death. When I contacted Hyun to pick her up for me, he and a few of his guys managed to get her here and she put up such a fight near a restaurant saying they had kidnapped her. The police were called by some by-standers because they saw three men being accused of kidnapping a beautiful young lady. Since Hyun knew who your sister was, he was prepared with documentation reflecting that she was supposed to be dead. They also supplied a death certificate along with communications from the insurance company regarding an insurance claim that was paid out. Needless to say, she is in jail.” Lydia walked over and hugged her father.

“I’m sorry you had to go through all of this. I know what she did to you and my mom. I hate you have to lose your other child because of that woman.”

“Heaven isn’t my child.”

“What?” Lydia asked in awe.

“She is Clyde’s daughter. They had Heaven before Nelda and I got together. The only reason Nelda reigned in her madness because she knew you and I were a package deal. When I found out she tried to kill you for insurance money, I was done. If it wasn’t for Lady Konstantina explaining all that my wife was hiding from me, I would have never known. She shut me out and insisted you were fine.”

Again, Lydia hugged Ryder’s grandmother. She solved everyone’s problems by getting everyone to work together.

“Now, that everyone is up to date on all that has been going on, I need to talk to you, missy.” Ruha pointed at Lydia.

“Whatever you have to say, just say it. We’re all family.”

“Are you sure?”

“Of course I am.”

“Okay, Rocky. You and Prince Charming over there are about to be parents to what looks like twins.”

“WHAT!!!” Everyone said at once.
