James Bond Movie

It was a huge master bedroom at the end of the hall. One of these doors must be a bathroom. Bingo door number one. I wasn’t too sure how this smelling thing worked, so I played it safe and took a quick shower. I quickly dried off. It makes no sense wearing this back. I tossed my soak panties in the trash and head back out after dressing.

Landon, Zuri, the driver Kristoff, the blondie Lake and Wyatt sitting on the sofa laughing and chatting. He looks good relaxed.

“Luna!” Zuri shouts from the living room. She drags me to the sofa between her and Wyatt. I glared at her, but she ignores me.

“Luna,” Landon tips his head at me, which surprised everyone, except Wyatt. My name rolled off his tongue all dreamy-like.

“Landon,” I smile sweetly. Wyatt jaw twitched but it was gone in a blink of an eye.

“How do you two know each other?” Zuri asks curiously.

“We had a drink together while waiting for Wy-Alpha Onyx.” There is that twitch again.

“What exactly were you doing in my brother’s room?” Kristoff grin like an evil imp. That was his room? Why would he send me to his room? “Not that I couldn’t guess,” he wiggled his brows at me. A blush covered my cheeks as I unconsciously bite down on my lips. It’s safe to say he’s the troublemaker and a shameless flirt out of the lot.

Lake smacks Kristoff behind the head,” How are you Avaluna?”

“I am fine. It’s just Lu-Luna. Or Ava-Luna. Whichever, ” Is it hot in here or just me?

“Luna,” I smile at him and feel my cheeks warmer. Talk about awkward.

“You guys are making her nervous. Look how red her face is.” Zuri teased,” Champagne?” she grabs my hand and drags me to the kitchen before I could reply. The entire time I felt Wyatt’s eyes on me, daring me to look.

“Look at you, first name basis with not one... but two alphas.” she teased and took out a bottle of champagne from the fridge. “Landon, huh? The man is seriously hot,” she pops the bottle and pours us each a glass. Looks like she took a shower, and changed into a black leather pant and a crop top. With killer heels. Hot. ” And a monster in bed.”

My eyes widen and gasp at her, “Zuri!”

“What? It’s true,” she smirks. “The man is some serious eye candy.” She is not lying. She got me there. I took a sip of my champagne before facing them.

Wyatt was relaxing back on the sofa and ran his fingers through his hair with his biceps flexing. He looks so hot. My eyes travel down to his lips moving and still a little red. What I would give to have them moved against mine. He took a sip of his drink and winks at me. Buggar! Caught red-handed checking him out again. My eyes when wide fleetingly. I spun around so fast giving myself whiplash. Zuri had her glass in her hand, leaned against the fridge watching me the entire time, with a knowing smirk on her face.

“What?” I took a gulp of my champagne.

“Landon is great in bed but the Alpha is said to be a god. Not that I had the pleasure.”

“He’s not my type.” I empty my glass.

“That’s why your eye raping him?” she refills my glass.

“Did not!” I huffed.

“Well if it helps. He kept staring at you too.”

“He is?” I ask a little too excitingly. She laughs at me and pushes off the fridge. “Don’t worry you’re not the first or last female who wants to jump his fine ass.” I frown.

I didn’t like the idea of another woman with him. My heart sank a little in my chest. It’s not like I like him or anything. Plus, he kidnapped me at gunpoint. I checked the time on my phone, 2:37 am. Ah, bugger.

“Hey wait. Where is my car?” I trail behind her.

“Why?” she glances over her shoulder while walking towards the guys.

“It’s getting late and my parents will freak if I’m not back by morning.”

“You’re not going anywhere,” Wyatt declare.

“What? Why? You can’t keep me here against my will.” I fold my arms and glared at him defiantly.

“You snuck out of your home and came here on your own free will if I recall”

“And I’m LEAVING on my own free will.”

“No,” he deadpans, and stride over to the bar behind the sofa pouring another drink. Everyone silent, witnessing our interaction.

“No? Who do you think you are?”

“Someone you shouldn’t use that tone with.” he shot back just as hotly.

“Or what huh? You’re going to bite me!” Everyone stiffens and held their breaths.

He swallows his drink in one shot, “Yes,” he admits, sauntering towards me. He grabs my hair and tilted my head back, so our eyes meet. I gulp at his proximity. The heat from his body was making me delirious. ” Then I’ll eat you like the wild animal you think I am.” The irony wasn’t lost on me but bloody hell that was hot. He dips his head to my ears and whispers,” I had the utmost pleasure in tasting just how deliciously sweet those lips are, but you need to stop biting them before you make me do something you’ll regret.” his eyes drift to my lips and back to mine, twinking with his lust. “Then again, maybe not,” he smirks at me and walks away.

I exhale a breath I didn’t know I was holding. My heart was beating a mile per second. He left me all hot and bothered and he didn’t even kiss me this time. Ugh! Bastard.

" Then I’m leaving,” I tramped over to the elevator when I remembered I needed a code.

I was about to ask him, when a red warning light lid up the entire penthouse and a female robotic voice announced,′ WARNING. WARNING. CODE 1.8.4. CODE 1.8.4. SECURITY BREACH. UNAUTHORIZED USER ASCENDING. ACTIVATING AlPHA-BETA PROTOCOL.

Before I could comprehend anything the robot voice said, Wyatt, grabs my arm dragging me to his room with everyone else behind us. A black metal shield thingy descended over all the windows and the elevator door, shutting us in. What in-the-resident evil?

“What’s going on?” Wyatt locks his bedroom door, and enter a code activating another black metal shield thingy over the door.

No one answered me. Instead, Zuri ran over to the bookshelf and pulls down a book; revealing a white room loaded with an impressive variety of weapons, in all sizes and shapes. She grabs a bag filling it with weapons and ammo. Lake, Kristoff, Landon and Wyatt arming up with bulletproof vest and guns. While I’m standing in the middle of the room with my heart in my hand, watching them all glide agilely and calmly. Like they’re baking a bloody cake.

Wyatt hand me a vest, “Put this on.” I stared at it unable to register what the bloody hell was happening. He growls annoyed when he saw I wasn’t moving. He grabs it, puts it on me and zips it up. “I don’t have time for this shit.” he snaps.

“Then tell me what the bloody hell is going on? Why do I feel like I got sucked into a James Bond movie!” I exasperate finally finding my voice.

“We’re under attack,” he said matter-of-factly, catching the bag Zuri throws at him. She pulls a vest on and armed up like the guys.

“Attack? Who?”

Wyatt gesture to the 50inch flat screen mounted on the wall with videos from the elevator and lobby. In the lobby guys with guns like the SWAT, shooting up the place with wolves eating people. And the elevator filled with heavily armed men coming our way.

“Hunters? And no one called the cops?”

“Cops?” Wyatt scoff ” The building is under lockdown. No one can hear or see anything from the outside. Hunters are smart and way deadlier than the cops.” A loud explosion when off outside.

“They’re inside.” Zuri flings a detonator at Wyatt

“I thought this place is more secure than The Whitehouse.”

“Someone betrayed us. They had to trigger the lockdown from the inside. “Landon grabs my hand pulling me to the bathroom with Zuri and Kristoff.

“Don’t worry LuLu they’re messing with the wrong pack. We are known to carry big things” Kristoff winks.

“Not everyone,” Zuri shot at him.

“Would you like to find out sugar lips? I’m not shy.”

Wyatt enters the bathroom with Lake. His eyes glance to my hand in Landon’s with that faint twitch in his jaw. He shut the door and stick a timer on the bathroom door, counting down from 60 in red.

“Zuri, Lake take care of the hunters. Landon and I will handle the Rogues. Kristoff take her to the car. We’ll meet you as soon as we can.” he pushes a tile and a secret passage opens in between the walls. Definitely James bond.

“Let’s go” he ordered. Everyone followed Wyatt and Landon with Kristoff and me behind them.

“Hold up there sunshine. Not so fast. We’re going this way.” he nods to the left while they all when straight. Soon I heard gunshots and snarling.

“What about them?”

He laughs,” I’d be more worried about the idiot who dares to attack my brother. Come on.” I followed him down a narrow tunnel to the end. He pushes and it opens on a different floor. The gunshot can be heard from above us.

“Where is everyone?” I ask following him to the emergency stairs exit.

" Hiding. The hunters are more concern with taking out the high ranks first, who are in the penthouses.” He held the door open for me and we ran down the stairs as fast as I can. I hate cardio. He sniffs the air and stops me.

“What is it?”

“Rogues,” he took the safety off his gun and held my hand as we cautiously descended the stairs. It all happened so fast. A rogue lurches at us and he shot it in the head. I squeal.

“We have to move they know we’re here.” He lifts me over the rogue’s dead corpse, and we ran down a few more flight of stairs until we came to another door. He gently pushes it open and sniffs the air. We ran down the empty hallway to an elevator.

“Where are we going?” It dings open and we rushed in.

“Twenty-first floor. Private Garage.”

“You think they’re ok?” I know he heard the worry in my voice.

“They’ll be fine,” he said confidently.

“How do you know?”

“I know my brother. And I can honestly say, killing that prick is harder than it looks. If anyone can pull this off, it’s him. But he’s probably more pissed that your panties are in the trash, and he’s not with you.” he winks.

I felt my cheeks on fire with my eyes wide. Call the fire department. “I-Um-Uh-”

“Don’t sweat it, Lulu. You’re not the first female who wants to mount my big bro like a bull and ride him into the sunset.”

I frown,” So I keep hearing,” I mumbled under my breath. I knew he heard me but thankfully didn’t say anything. We arrive in a dark parking lot with a row of vehicles all covered. He yanks the cover off a black 2016 Audi Q8.

“Get in,”

I jumped into the front seat and marvel at the smooth buttery feel leather. It even had that new car smell.

“Buckle up, sunshine” You don’t need to tell me twice. He floored it all the way to the end of the garage and came to a screeching halt. Zuri, Lake and Wyatt emerged and jumped into the back. I was happy they were fine. You mean Wyatt. My subconscious gibes.

I scanned him for any wounds and sigh in relief when I saw none. “Where is Landon?”

“With his pack,” Wyatt snapped. Wow! what was that about? Kristoff floored it, burning tire on his way out.

“What about the hunters and rogues?”

“Dead.” Wyatt pulls out his phone. He was angry and spoke Italian. Which sounds hot. My hormones are out of control. I mentally facepalm myself.

“Are you ok?” I ask Zuri.

“Yeah, I’m fine.”

“And your stomach?”

“Better.” she smiles at me. I glance at Lake, who nods letting me know he was ok.

Lake was shouting at someone too but in Russian. How many languages do they speak? We drove for a few hours. Lake and Wyatt on the phone shouting at people. While Kristoff keeps sneaking glances at Zuri through the rearview mirror. Suddenly my back pocket began to ring.

“What the fuck is that?” Wyatt growls.

I took my phone and saw mum calling. “It’s my mum she must be wondering where I am.”

“Don’t answer it,” he warns.

Like hell, I’m not, “Mum?”

“Sweetie, where are you? I when in your room and you were gone?” Wyatt shakes his head no at me, with a look that said, ‘say anything and your dead meat.’

“A road trip. It was a last-minute thing with a friend. But I’ll see you soon.”

“Ok, sweetie, be safe. And call me. Love you.”

“Love you too.”

“Heyyyy!!!!” Wyatt grabs my phone and flings it out the window. Bad dog!

“Was that necessary?”

“Your phone can be tracked. Putting all of us at risk.” I rolled my eyes and fold my arms. Asshole. Someone’s not getting a kibble. It was an uncomfortable silent drive. No one spoke to me and I ignored them.

I felt myself being lifted with tingles everywhere.“What are you doing?” I ask groggily.

“Shh go back to sleep,” I was too tired to argue with him. And he was warm and smells nice. Unconsciously, I snuggled up into his chest and fell right back to sleep.
