Chapter 12 [Part 2]

I woke up the next day determined to find out what was going on with Jaime.

“Sage where are you going?” Li asked as he grabbed my wrist when I stood up to go to the bathroom.

“Only to the bathroom,” I replied.

“But it’s so early babe,” Li whined.

“I know, I’ll be back in a minute,” I promised.

“Ok,” Li let go of my wrist and I went to the bathroom.

I came back 2 minutes later refreshed. Li pulled me back in bed then slowly slid on top of me and started trailing kisses down my neck.

“Li, it’s time to get out of bed, ” I reminded my husband but he carried on kissing me.

“Not until I say so it isn’t,” Li disagreed as he brought his lips to mine and we kissed passionately.

When we pulled apart, I went to my wardrobe to pick out an outfit of blue jeans and a white top. I dressed into them and put on some white heels. Li watched me the whole time with so much love and adoration in his eyes, it was sweet but made me feel self-conscious.

“Li don’t watch me getting dressed,” I told Li.

“Why?” Li asked as he continued to stare.

“Your making me feel self-conscious,”

“Aww! Don’t feel self-conscious, your body is perfect,” Li assured me before coming over to me and put his arms around me making me blush. I ended up hiding my face on his chest.

“Don’t hide your face, it’s too pretty to hide,” Li held my chin upwards so I was facing him. I blushed again.

“Aww! Sage you’re so cute when you blush, I want to eat you,” Li paused. “Talking about eating........ I’m starving,”

Li let go of me and made his way out of the bedroom.

“Li,” I stopped him. “Are you going to have breakfast in just your boxers?”

“Yeah,” Li said while realising he was only in his boxers.

“What if Jaime is there?” I asked

“He won’t be, he never is,” Li said sadly but then he went to the wardrobe and pulled out a light yellow shirt with black jeans. He got dressed and put on black trainers too. That yellow shirt showed off his abs and made him look so good that I could help but compliment my husband.

“You look nice,”

“Thanks,” Li replied with a blush.

I wanted to trail my hands down his chest but I was shy. Li realised this and walked up to me, he got so close that our bodies were pressed together. Li put his hands on my shoulders and went down to my waist. Our lips were almost touching.

“Babe don’t be shy, I won’t bite, you know you can touch me anyway you want at any time and for as long as you want,” Li said as I felt his breath on my lips. I just couldn’t look away from his chest. Li saw where my eyes were. He took my hand and placed it on his chest and made it stroke his chest.

“You like this don’t you?” Li asked and it made me shiver. Li then took my hand off his chest and placed it under his shirt onto his bare skin. He did the same with my other hand. “There you go babe I’m all yours to touch,”

I touched the skin I was in contact with. Li lifted me up and carried me to the bed before laying me down.

“I thought you were hungry?” I asked.

“I was but now I’m just hungry for you,” Li replied shyly before putting his lips on mine.

1 hour later, we headed downstairs and had breakfast which was French toast.

After breakfast, Li sat me on his lap and brought my head down to lay on his chest.

“So are you going to tell me where you disappeared off to last night?” Li surprised me, I thought he was asleep and didn’t notice because he never said anything.

“I didn’t disappear,” I lied.

“Yes you did, don’t lie. Did you think I wouldn’t notice? Tell me where you were now and I’ll forgive you for lying,” Li demanded.

“I never went anywhere I just talked to Jaime,” I said truthfully.

“You talked to Jaime,” Li asked in surprise.

“Yeah,” I confirmed.

“What did you talk about?”

“I wanted to know what was wrong and why he is never home,”

“And?”

“He told me nothing was wrong and that I should leave,” I said sadly.

“What? He upset you? He told you to leave? I’ll kill him,” Li decided angrily. I put my arms around him to calm him.

“You can’t kill him even if you wanted to, he’s your brother,” I reminded.

“But he shouldn’t have upset you,” Li disagreed.

“It’s ok, I understand. There is something going on but he isn’t ready to tell us yet so we’ll wait, won’t we?”

“I guess,” Li agreed and started to calm down. He laid his head in the crook of my neck, I could feel his breath on my neck and laughed because it was ticklish.

“Li that tickles,” I laughed again.

“What tickles?”

“You’re breathing on my neck,” I said and my laughing grew louder.

“Aww! I love it when you laugh, it makes me happy seeing you happy,” Li kissed my cheek as I continued laughing.

My laughing was interrupted by the front door opening. It was Jaime.

Li’s pov

Jaime barged into the room interrupting us. What is he doing home so early anyway? I haven’t seen him for weeks and now he decides to turn up when I’m in the middle of something with Sage. Jaime seemed to realise I wasn’t happy.

“Sorry I wasn’t interrupting anything was I?” Jaime asked me.

“No it’s fine. Actually, it’s good you’re here,” I said.

“It is?” Jaime asked in surprise.

“Yes I haven’t seen you for ages, I’ve missed you,”

“Really?”

“Of course, you’re my little brother. Where have you been?” I asked, Jaime was about to answer but Sage stood up to leave.

“Where do you think you’re going?” I asked as I grabbed her hand.

“You guys need space to talk. I’ll go upstairs,” Sage explained.

“Ok,” I pulled my wife closer to kiss her lips quickly then I let her go and watched her leave the room. When Sage was gone from sight, I turned back to Jaime.

“So what’s going on? Where have you been lately?” I asked.

“You know here and there,” Jaime replied vaguely. I rolled my eyes before asking for more information.

“Here and there doing what?”

“Just catching up with my friends,”

“So everything’s good yeah?”

“Yeah everything’s good,” Jaime assured me.

“Good,” I said but as Jaime was about to leave the room, I stopped him.

“Another thing, if Sage talks to you again then don’t you ever make her leave,” I warned and Jaime looked confused. “Don’t give me that confused look. I know Sage spoke to you last night, you told her to leave and she was really upset about that. Don’t let it happen again ok,”

“Ok I’m sorry, I didn’t realise I upset her. I didn’t mean to,” Jaime apologised.

“It’s not me you should be apologising to,”

“I know I’ll go and apologise to Sage now,” Jaime said and headed upstairs to see Sage.
