| Chapter 5 | In my feelings

Cade’s POV

Elizabeth? Out of all girls and she doesn’t love me the way I did. That’s crazy, everybody loves me.

“Hey baby.” A very low but desperate voice interrupted my thoughts.

“Oh hey..” I say, sighing afterwards.

“What’s wrong? I can make you feel better.” She replied with a smirk.

“No. I’m okay.” I said.

“Come on. You chickened out last night.” She said, begging me like usual.

“I said no, Callie.” I replied, making a serious face.

“Please.” She pouted, walking up to me.

“Did you not hear me? I said; no.”

“It’s not like you’re gonna do anything.” She scoffed.

“Ha, well you’re wrong. I’m breaking up with you.” I say.

“You’re funny.” She laughed.

“I’m being serious, get out.” I replied, pointing to the door. “Get out!”

“Jesus christ Cade! I’m going.” She yelled, grabbing her things and walking out.

Yes, I was desperate and I found Callie. I regret it but now I have to win Elizabeth over. Even if she’ll hate me I have to.

Sighing I get up and grab my shirt and shoes as I walk out the house. Locking the door behind me I get my car and drive off to Elizabeth’s house. Finally I drive up and see her car as I get out and jog to the door. Hoping it’ll work.

“Knock, knock.” I say.

“C-coming!” A distant voice called out.

The door opened and there she was. The most beautiful girl in the world that deserved the best of everything; Elizabeth. But guess who interrupted my amazing thought. You guessed it; Kaiden. And they were kissing right in my face with her back turned to me.

“Ahem.” I stated.

“O-oh. What are you doing here?” She questioned. Immediately pushing him behind the door and closing it, stepping outside.

“I wanted to um.” I replied, rubbing the back of my neck, nervously. “You know what. Never mind.” I said once more, waving it off.

“You sure?” She asked.

“Y-yeah I gotta go. Bye.” I reply, walking back to my car as I get in.

“Um okay..bye.” She said, waving.

I waved back and drove off.

“DAMN IT!” I say, hitting my forehead on the steering wheel.

“Who was that?” Kaiden said as he approached me, wrapping his arms around my waist.

“Just um..Cade.” I replied, slowly making my hands hug him tightly.

“What did he want?”

I could hear the anger and frustration come out of that little sentence. I wanted to quiet but I knew I had to say something even if I had no answer.

“I don’t know.” I say, shrugging.

“Okay.” Hey replied calmer this time. He kissed my head as I let go and laid in bed with a book. Reading my thoughts away.

Eventually Kaiden came in and laid down next to me, trying to make me feel better. But I'm in my feelings and nothing really can.
