Cry Little Sister

As Aric pumped fuel into his car, Henry rummaged through his bag for the blood packs he'd packed for their trip.

"O positive or negative?" he called, holding up two packs.

"Positive please," Aric replied, holding up his hand to catch the pack mid-air.

"Do you think your sister is going to notice we're here?" his friend asked before sinking his fangs into the blood pack.

"Yes," Aric sighed, seeing headlights coming towards them, "she noticed."

"Crap," Henry breathed, looking in the same direction. "So, your birthday phone call, how did that go?"

Aric let out a loud respberry.

"About as well as it usually does?" his friend heaved, replacing the fuel spout.

"So," Henry said sarcastically, looking at him across the car, "we're fucked?"

Aric could only shrug and wait as the line of motorcycles encircled them.

At least twelve leather clad vampires parked their bicycles, and removed their helmets.

Aric waited until his sister removed her's revealing purple hair, heavy black mascara and neon violet lipstick.

"Looks like you've added a few new piercings since I saw you last, Emily," Aric said, stepping forward to offer her his hand.

"Yeah," she replied, ignoring his hand, "too bad you still look like a douche.

"What are you doing in my territory?" she demanded before he could reply to her insult.

"I just needed to stop for fuel," Aric replied, trying to gauge how upset his sister really was. "We're done now, so Henry and I will just leave. We don't want any trouble."

"Trouble," Emily laughed, the other vampires around the circle joining in. "You don't want to make trouble?"

"Look," Aric replied harshly, moving to stand toe to toe with his sister. "I am on my way to face our father.

"He took someone from me, and I plan on getting her back, no matter what the cost," he breathed, speaking only loud enough for her to hear.

Emily looked at her brother, seeing in his face the truth of his words.

"Oooohhh," she laughed, jumping up and down and clapping her hands like a child let loose in a candy store, "this is going to be so much fun."

"What are you talking about?" Aric asked, confused by her sudden giddiness.

"Hold that thought," Emily replied, holding up a finger.

Turning around, she rummaged in her bicycles saddlebags and pulled out a leather satchel.

"Gavin," she called, wiggling her finger to one of her men, "I'm going on a road trip with my brother.

"Make sure everything is taken care of while I'm gone, and I will reward you properly when I get back," she said, pulling Gavin into a long, wet kiss, her hand gripping his butt in his tight leather pants.

Turning, she saw her brother and friend looking uncomfortable.

"Oh please," Emily sighed, rolling her eyes, "get over it. Since when did you two become such prudes?"

"Uh," Henry said, holding up his hand, "I'm not a prude. I just think he's wasting his kisses on women."

"Okay," Emily replied with a nod, "let's get this wagon train moving."

"Wait," Aric said, grabbing his sisters arm as she passed him, "I never said you could come with us."

"Look,"Emily hissed, pulling her arm free, "you're not the only one who has a bone to pick with dad. And if you think he's just going to let you walk into his tower and take him down, you're not just crazy big brother, you're stupid.

"Besides," she added, opening the back door of his car, "a road trip gives us a chance to catch up with one another.

"It's been too ling since we had a real brother-sister talk."
