Chapter 7

Scott:

I parked in front of the club and got out my car and passed the keys to the valet.

We both entered the club together. What I said to her at the apartment about staying with her in it forever was true. Wish she would've understood that.

I took her hand in mine and led her into the club so that we wouldn't get separated due to the crowd.

This club was like a typical club, with a bar at a side and dance floor at another. The DJ at the corner, who was currently playing Freaky Like Me by Madcon. There was stairs at the corner, leading upstairs to the VIP rooms.

Out of the corner of my eyes, I saw Sophia coming out of a VIP room. I took Nova to the bar and told her to stay there 'til I talked to my friend. She agreed and smiled. I smiled back and headed towards Sophia.

Sophia and her husband John were the owners of the club Falcon, where our band Rock Me used to practice before we became famous. They were the ones who always believed in our talents. Sophie had always told us, that one day we would be on top of the world. And today, we were.

Smiling, I walked towards her. She smiled widely when she noticed me. She hugged me tightly and kissed my cheek, "There's my rockstar."

You would not believe that Sophie was ten years, my senior. She still looked stunning. Well, she always did. She never aged.

"What are you doing here?" I asked pulling out of her embrace.

"Well, buddy, this is my club you're standing in!" She gushed smiling proudly.

"Wow! This is yours? Where's John?" I asked her.

"He's at home with the kids. We both take turns managing this club. Last week he did it. This week's mine." She said, smiling lovingly at the name of her husband.

We ended up chatting for nearly an hour. "So, I gotta go, manage stuff. See ya around." She said walking away. I waved at her.

I walked back at the bar to realize I had forgotten about Nova. Shit! I had to apologise to her.

Reaching the bar, I noticed she wasn't there. I looked around the bar, searching for her.

Suddenly, I saw her on the dance floor, dancing with a guy. She stumbled on every step she took. Crap. She's drunk.

The guy's hand was at her waist, heading south. Suddenly, all I saw was red.

I marched towards them and snatched the guy's collar and gritted out, "Stay away from her!"

He held his hands up in surrender and apologized, "Sorry, dude. I didn't know she was taken." He walked away.

I looked back at Nova to see she was throwing daggers at me with her eyes. "How can you do that? I was dancing with that guy!" She yelled.

Thank God for the loud DJ.

"You're drunk, Brownie!" I explained calmly.

"You know why I'm drunk. I'm drunk because the guy who brought me here left me alone at a frickin' bar while he went to flirt with another woman!" She yelled.

Wait! What woman? Sophia? Oh my god! Is Brownie jealous?

"I wasn't flirting with her, Brownie. Sophia and her husband are my friends." I said to her, calmly.

Her eyes widened at the word 'husband'.

She exhaled loudly and looked down, ashamed and whispered, "I'm sorry!"

She was jealous.

I'm seriously doing my happy dance in my mind.

I placed my hands on her chin and looked her in the eye and said, "It's not your fault, Brownie. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have left you alone. How much did you drink anyway?"

"Six shots of Vodka." She whispered.

Six!

"Maybe we should just go home." I said to her.

"But I wanna dance!" She pouted.

Who in the world would say no to those big brown eyes and the most adorable pout?

"Okay. Let's dance. But I'm coming with you..."

She squeaked and hugged me before taking my hand and leading me to the dance floor. For the first few songs, she danced like a freaking choreographer. She was that good.

I had to glare at the men who even looked at her. Later, she started dancing slowly.

I thought the alcohol finally kicked in. And now - she was just hugging me, swaying her hips from side to side. Her hands were around my waist and my hands were around her shoulders.

I don't care if it was a slow or a fast song. I was loving it!

Still, it had to end.

"We should go home, Brownie." I whispered.

She looked up at me and smiled, "'Kay..."

I took her hand and led her out of the club. Just a few steps from the entrance, she stopped suddenly.

"What happened?" I asked her, concerned.

She looked down at her legs and said, "I can't feel my hands."

"You don't need hands to walk." I murmured.

She giggled and I swear to God, it was the most sweetest sound I've ever heard.

"No silly, we need our hands to walk and our legs to hold things."

"Man! You're drunk. Let's go" I sighed.

"But I can't feel my hands." She pouted.

I sighed and bent down and carried her in my arms, bridal style.

She giggled and whispered, "Mmh... You're so strong!" and laid her head on my shoulder.

I carried her to the gate and the valet handed me my keys, I laid her on the passenger seat and closed the door and walked to the other side and strapped on both of our seatbelts.

During the drive, she kept slurring,

"I love blue... Blue's my favourite colour... The sky's blue... The water's blue... My favourite colour's blue... The name of the character in the animated film Rio was also Blu... He was blue in colour... It was a good movie... I wanna write a movie... I'll name that movie Blue... 'Cause blue's my favourite colour."

I didn't knew whether to laugh at her or kiss the hell out of her for being so cute. I reached the building's garage and I ran to her side, carrying her in my arms and walked towards our apartment.

Once inside the apartment, I placed her down while she wrapped her arms around my waist, to prevent herself from falling.

I turned the door knob of her room to find it locked. I asked her, "Where's the key to your room?"

She giggled and mumbled, "Dunno..."

I took her to my room and asked her, "Where are your pyjamas?"

She looked at me and slurred, "In my room, silly!"

I sighed and gave her my shirt, "Wear this..."

She took the shirt out of my hands and started undressing. First her shoes, then her accessories and then unzipped her dress, but stopped and looked at me, "Turn around, perv!"

I turned around and finally after nearly three whole minutes, she hugged my back and laid her head between my shoulder blade and whispered, "I love you."

The whole world just stops.

I stiffened.

She whispered those three words again.

Love?

Holy Crap.

She started mumbling, interrupting my thoughts, "Blue. I love you blue..."

I looked down to see I was wearing a blue T-shirt. She was confessing her love to my shirt.

Damn. I'm an idiot!

I turned around to see her standing in only my shirt.

Damn. She's beautiful.

I took her hand and laid her down on my bed while I lied down next to her. She snuggled closer to me and whispered, "Night Ace."

"Night Brownie."

I swear to God...

This was heaven!
