Chapter 21 - Revealing the Truth

I shimmied out of my clothes and then pulled the hoodie off of Liam. Our bare skin made contact and just like with Jameson, old memories long buried came back to me. All the laughter from playing as pups, the late movie nights, and falling asleep on the couch brought a smile to my face.

Goddess, his intoxicating scent was enough to make my pussy drip from wetness. His eyes dropped to my center, his mouth hanging open. My clit rubbed against his cock and started to build my orgasm, I wouldn’t last long like this and he hadn’t even entered me yet.

“I’ve missed you so much. Goddess only knows how many nights I laid awake thinking of this right here.” Liam admitted.

“And what did you do about it?”

He chuckled. “I wrapped my hand around my rod and stroked it, imagining that I was buried deep inside you until I came, screaming your name.” I yearned for his throbbing manhood to be inside me.

“Well, tonight you don’t have to imagine it.” I let him slip inside me and his wide girth and impressive length filled me. It was eerie how identical Jameson and he was even there.

“Even better than I remember.” Liam moaned out and started thrusting, meeting my hips movement and hitting my sweet spot. His head was thrown back as I rode him, swirling and rocking my hips. “Fuck, I’m not going to last much longer.”

“Not yet,” I demanded and slammed down on him. My orgasm was building and my climax was just within reach until he pinched my clit, sending me over the edge. He swelled inside me and ejaculated, his dick throbbing with every pump.

Lumen purred in my head from happiness from being so close to Honos. She was falling for them both and her emotions clouded mine.

I rested my head on his chest and traced his moonflowers with my fingers. Both he and Jameson had added to their collection just like I had, the only difference was that I had added more.

“I was jealous.” Liam cleared his throat. “Last night... I heard you and Jameson and I thought that you chose him.”

“I’m not choosing anyone but myself and Lumen.”

“Who’s Lumen?”

I forgot that they didn’t know about her, damn. “My wolf, I can talk to her. It’s a Lycan thing.”

“Ok, you have a lot of that. Lycan things, that is.” Liam was twirling my hair between his fingers and asked: “Can you answer me one question?”

“If I have to.” I sighed. I was wary of where this was going and hoped that he wouldn’t pressure me to talk about the past or the future.

“Why do you still wear it?”

I knew he was talking about the necklace that I couldn’t part with. “I don’t know, I just couldn’t take it off.”

“Are you staying?” He asked another question in a whisper.

“You said one question.”

“Just know that we want you to stay. No pressure but you are more than welcome here.”

We stayed in the cave for a little while longer and at daybreak, the wind had settled and the snow had stopped falling.

It only took us a few hours to get to the packhouse where Jameson, Leo, and Jason were pacing the living room.

Liam and I walked in and they all hurried over to us for a hug. Jason got to me first and Jameson hugged his brother, then me. I know I was being petty but when it was Leo’s I scoffed at him and I turned around to walk over to the couch and sat down, letting the twin occupy the seats next to me.

Leo looked angry and fisted his hands but none of us acknowledged it. Why was he even here and not with his mate?

Jameson hit Liam on the shoulder. “Where the fuck were you two? You could’ve mind linked me you asshole.”

“Sorry, I was a little busy.” Liam rubbed his arm and smirked. Jameson got the message and let it go.

“Are you alright?” Jason interrupted the twins’ argument.

“I’m fine. I... we found the rouge camp. They are south of the mountain at the fox hunting grounds. I had a run-in with the leader and he’s big. Bigger than Jason even.” I informed them.

“Ok, we’ll send some warriors down to investigate while we think of a plan.” Jameson’s eyes glossed over and I knew he was mind linking Greyson with the orders.

Leo was still standing up and was seething. He started pacing the room again and we all looked over at him in irritation.

Jason, being the big brother he is and Leo’s Alpha, ordered him to sit his ass down.

“Are we just going to ignore what’s happening here?” Leo spat at Jason.

“We’re dealing with the rogue issue, what else would you have me do?” Jason was getting mad and was close to yelling.

“Not that. That!” Leo pointed at the twins sitting close beside me. “We’re losing her.”

They were talking about me like I wasn’t in the room but I was too interested in seeing how Jason would handle it to butt in.

Jason released a loud, irritated sigh. “Brother, you have already lost her and to be honest I just want her to be happy even if it’s not with me. The difference between you and I is that I actually put her needs before my own.” He shook his head and smiled. “She picked the wrong brother.”

“Did you forget about Betty again?” Leo yelled.

“Of course not, but this isn’t about her. Leo wasn’t getting anywhere with his brother so instead, he turned to us sitting on the couch. “You are so ready to run back to them at the first sign of trouble...”

“I’m no...” My words fell on deaf ears.

“Even after what they did to you? After they killed your pup?” Leo screamed.

I couldn’t believe that he said it. That he revealed my secret that so few knew about. If he hadn’t already broken my trust in him, that would’ve done it. I shot up and slapped him as hard as I could muster through my tears and then promptly walked away before the questions started.

I could hear Jason yelling and ordering Leo around. Honestly, the entire pack could probably hear him. “Pack your shit, grab your mate and go home before I break your fucking neck. You better hope that the next time I see you, I won’t be this furious.”

The twins followed me out of the room but I tried walking faster to get away. I should have known that it wouldn’t do any good since there were two of them and one of me.

Jameson grabbed my arm and spun me around. He looked me in the eyes and tears were flowing down his face, he was hurting. Liam came up to my side and he had the same expression, same teary eyes as his brother.

“Is it true?”

“What happened?”

“Did... did you have a pup?”

“What was it?”

Their questions didn’t stop but I couldn’t focus on anything but their tears. It was rare to see them cry and could only count on one hand when I had seen them do it.

“Please let me go,” I pleaded. “I can’t do this right now.”

“Olivia, we deserve to know about our pup.” They both pleaded.

“I know but I’m not strong enough.” I cried and they wrapped their arms around me. We slumped down and cried together on the hallway floor for what seemed like hours before I managed to find the strength to speak.

“I didn’t know it then but after you... rejected me, I went to my bedroom to pack but suddenly I started bleeding, a lot. I remember thinking that it was odd to bleed after a rejection so I mind-linked Greyson and he brought me to the clinic where the Doc confirmed my miscarriage. Apparently, when you rejected me you also rejected our pup and it died.” I confessed.

Neither one of them had anything to say. Regret, sadness, and guilt flashed over their faces and was then replaced by anger.

Jameson was the first to speak as he was seething. “Olivia, I... Fuck! I was so stupid and won’t ever forgive myself.”

Liam had pulled away and was pacing the room again. He hit the wall and the sheetrock gave way for his hand. “Damn it!”

“Liam?” I called out to him but he only glanced at me and then headed for the door. “Liam!”

“I’ll find him,” Jameson assured me and then followed his brother.

I went to bed with my mind racing, tossing and turning all night.

It was still early in the morning and although I was running on little sleep, I couldn’t go to bed already. I headed to the packhouse kitchen in hopes to find some food.

The closer I got the more my stomach grumbled from the delicious smell. Bacon, eggs, biscuits, and even gravy was calling my name.

The people working in the kitchen were wrapping up the cooking and serving the meals. I was surprised to find women and men of all ages and stations in there.

Omegas, Gammas, and even Beta Greyson were sporting an apron. The twins really did change up the hierarchy after I left and I couldn’t be happier about it.

I grabbed a piece of bacon from a passing trap and plopped down on a stool by the counter, watching the people work. “Is there anything I can do?” I offered.

Mary, the head cook, and self-proclaimed mother to all pups in the pack smacked my hand with a ladle as I tried to pick up some dishes to clean.

“Sit down and rest, Luna.” She demanded with a stern face.
