Chapter 15

Unknown POV

Things are not going the way they are supposed to. My plan was perfect until that bitch decided to come back to Texas and ruin things for me. The plan was easy. Too easy for it not to fall through. Kemari was supposed to keep the bitch occupied until we milked Mr. Money banks dry, but he had to make a fool of himself and let her escape.

Now things are going to have to be a whole lot different than how I originally planned it.

A knock on my office door breaks me out of my thoughts. I call for the person to come in and a grin makes its way onto my face when I see the beautiful face of my fiancé. Her beautiful, light green eyes twinkle at me mischievously and I wonder what could have possibly have her in such a good mood. She walks around the desk to me, planting a sweet kiss on my lips.

It burns me every time I see these plump lips of hers kiss my enemy, but all good things comes to those who wait they say.

“Hey babe.” Georgia’s red painted lips stretch into a snake-like smile and I chuckle at her in amusement. “You ready to tell me what has you in such a good mood?” I say with my brows raised. She sits on my lap, giving me another kiss on the lips. “Well, Kemari is just dying to find out where his girlfriend is hiding and I decided to save him the trouble.”

I sigh and her radiant smile instantly falters. “What’s wrong?”

“They left.” I said, my voice flat.

“What do you mean they left? Where did they go?” Georgia’s voice hits a higher octave and I wince at the sound. “I don’t know where they went, but my men told me they left Texas two days ago.” She slumps against me and I rub my hands up and down her thighs in comfort. “What are we going to do now? Do you think he knows?”

“I think he has a general idea about what’s going on, I don’t know why he took your sister with him though.”

Georgia jumps out of my lap like I’ve burned her, “That bitch is not my sister,” she growls. I chuckle knowing that would rile her up. “Go pack your bags, we’re going on a trip.”

A smile slowly makes its way on her face, “Where?”

“I think its time we go visit some old friends.” I said as I stand from my chair and walk around my desk towards her. Her beautiful, light green eyes shine up at me in mischief as I wrap my arm around her waist, bringing her closer to me. “The cowards won’t know what hit them when they come back.”

And I seal my promise with a kiss
