That One Guy In My Dreams

Three years later

"Should I do it, princessa?" he asked me as he growled.

"D-don't you dare! I won't forgive you" I exclaimed. He kissed me slowly and it made leaned onto the wall.

Slowly, he nibbled on my ear and whispered, "You sure do get lots of dirty dreams about me, cariño. It's time to wake up now, Krackles".

"Aaaaaaahhh!" I screamed and woke up from my dream.

"Are you okay, baby?" my husband asked worriedly.

"Y-yea. I'm fine, mi amor" I lied straight to his face. I was not fine. Not even the slightest.

"It's that nightmare again, isn't it? You've been getting those nightmares ever since you got discharged from the hospital" he sighed as he couldn't do anything about it.

It wasn't a nightmare though. It was more of a wet dream I've been getting with this particular person I don't even know. Plus, it's kinda illegal to be having dreams like this with a total stranger when I'm already a wife and a mom.

"Kind of but I think I'm relaxed now. Don't sweat it" I assured him. He nodded and went to check on our daughter, Xyomi Grimmer.

I never actually remembered my fiance. Let alone, my own marriage. Ever since that accident, I couldn't remember the things that had happened in my life. I--I couldn't remember what happened years ago. Those years were wasted due to the accident. The doctor even explained about my condition but only to Axel.

Everyday, either a doctor or a nurse will inform me that a guy has been waiting outside, day and night for me to be conscious and to get better. That guy was named Axel Grimmer.

Even though my life was complete with my very own loving family, I can't help but to feel that something was missing. I tried to recall memories but nothing has changed. As a vampire, I didn't think that I was capable of having a family. I knew in my heart that Axel is my soulmate as I can feel a strong bond between us whether I had memory loss or otherwise.

However, I didn't expect him to be with me. I had expected him to cut ties with me and reject me if I'm being real. I was one of the luckiest female vampires out there to be mated with an Alpha. I'm even more lucky to have Axel and Xyomi to make me smile and laugh until I cry. Sometimes, life just happens. I can't bring back those memories but I can make memories in the present. So, I decided to let go the thoughts I was having earlier and appreciate what I have right now.

"Mommy!" my dear Kyomi cried.

"Hi, baby!" I greeted her with joy.

"Happy birthday, mommy. I've got you a present. Hope you'll like it!" she said as she handed me a drawing she made specially for me.

"It's beautiful, baby. Thank you for remembering my 22nd birthday, darling. Thanks, love" I said before giving her a sweet kiss on her cheeks. Well, would you look at that. My daughter remember my birthday while the birthday girl herself didn't. It's sad when you can't remember that one special day when your mom went through so much to give birth to you and gave you the chance to see a beautiful world that has been created by God.

"M-mommy, don't cry. I--Is my present bad?" she pouted sadly as I was deep in thoughts.

"No, baby. It's amazing! It's just--"

"--you can't remember?" she continued my words for me. I nodded and tucked her long hair behind her ear.

"It's okay, mommy! I'll help you remember. After all, I'm a supergirl" she giggled while hugging me tightly.

"You always know how to make me smile, darling, my supergirl" I told her with my brightest smile. Suddenly, my daughter smirked at me. I should really tell Axel to stop teaching her stuff like this. She's only 3 and she already knows how to give an innocent and angelic smirk. I then questioned her with a raised eyebrow. She crawled to my lap and rested on my chest, playing with her teddy bear that was given by her best friend named Thiago.

"Can you sing me my lullaby, pretty please with a cherry on top of a sundae?" she begged with puppy eyes. I might have also taught her a few things I shouldn't have. Her puppy eyes always get to me. I laughed silently and smiled at the angel in front of me.

"Well, one time won't hurt".

"Yay!!!" she wrapped her small arms around my neck then closed her eyes, ready to take her afternoon nap in my arms. This kid is so adorable. Welp, here I go.

"You were everything for me,
Love of my life,
My prince and knight,
You made me feel complete.
Complete (yea)."

Suddenly, the doorbell rang out of nowhere. "Babe! Could you get the door?" I whisper yelled, not wanting to wake the angel who was sleeping soundly in my arms.

"My hands are full. I'm sorry, Kyomi" he told me. I sighed.

"Xyomi, stay here okay? Mommy will be back in a minute, sweety" I told her. After hearing my words, she curled up into a ball and started giggling in her dreams. I walked downstairs and headed straight towards the the door.

Ding dong, ding dong, ding dong, ding dong

"Alright alright, chill! Whoever you are, you have no patience!".

Ding dong, ding dong

"Jesus Christ, you're so annoying! I'm already at the door. Chill!! Now what do you---Y--you?! What are YOU doing here?! Go away!". I slammed the door shut. I must've so been mistaken but that guy looks exactly like the guy in my dreams. No, this can't be happening!!! This must be some sick joke.

But before my door closes fully, he caught it. He then grabbed my wrist and made the gap between us closer. There wasn't any gap anymore. I could feel his hot breath fanning my face. Right then, I felt a little tingle in my body that gave me shivers. So, I had to break the connection between us.

"L-let go! What are you doing here anyway?!" I asked.

His grip on my wrist was even tighter now than before.

"I was, I will and I always will be" he replied.

"W-what are you talking about?!"

Then, he smiled. God......how I've missed that.....

"I'm your fiance".

When his lips were moving, I snapped out of my daydream. "W-what did y-you say? P-pardon?" I asked while feeling a knot in my stomach out of embarrassment.

"I said I'm you're fiance, Kyomi"

Fiance.....fiance....oh my god! I gasped when the realization hit me.

"WTF?!?!!!!". I screamed. He looked at me in confusion as if he expected a happier and joyful expression from me. I mean, what is the man that I always dreamed about doing....HERE?!?!

"I think you have the wrong house, mister" I told while smiling widely. Maybe it was meant for another girl who had the same name as I did. I can't be the only Kyomi in this human world, right? This has to be a mistake. It must be!

"Babe, who's at the do--"

"Surprise, shawty!" the mysterious human said to Axel, smiling from eye to eye. I think Axel is even more shocked than me. However, he had no reason to do so because I'm sure he doesn't know him. Does he?

"Axel, do you know him?".

But he didn't reply. He was fuming with anger as I see his hands were clenched into fists. His eyes aimed directly at the guy who stood right in front of us. He looked like he was about to pounce onto him and rip his bones. I tapped his shoulder for him to calm down and luckily, he did. I reassured my lover by telling him that the guy probably came to the wrong house to propose and messed up.

"Okay, cut out the dramatic stares and mysterious drama already! Who even is this guy?!!" I asked with my index finger pointing directly towards Axel.

"He's a annoying friend of mine" he said with a nervous laugh. I took a glance at his so-called friend and to be honest? He does look kinda annoying to me, I pity the girl he loves. Meh, whatever.

"Okay, you go and have your little reunion while I sing to my baby, Xyomi" I told Axel before heading back to my daughter to continue singing her lullaby she had asked me to sing not so long ago.

I wonder what they'll be talking about. Well, I guess I'll never know.

Axel: Why was the cookie sad?

Xyomi: Because his mom was a wafer so long.

Kyomi: Why did the student ate his homework?

Xavier: Because his teacher said it was a piece of cake!
