"I think you forget who I am", his lifeless grey eyes stared at me. It was as if he was staring into my soul. "I'll kill anyone looking at you, talking to you, flirting with you, or even friends with you", he twirled his knife between his slender fingers. "You're mine, don't forget it".

Drip drop drip drop. I listen to the sound of water slowly falling from the ceiling onto the cold cement floor. I tug at the chains that are wrapped around both of my swollen ankles. When will I get out of this hell hole? The door creaked open. Light shone from upstairs into the small damp basement. I squinted at the sudden brightness. "You're awake?" I heard his voice say. "Help me" I wanted to yell. I knew no one would hear me but I would have to try. "I brought you a friend," the voice said after a few moments of silence. I heard footsteps echo near me. But it was too dark to see. This could be my chance. I felt a warm hand caress my cheek. I flinched. "Wh-whose there?" I croaked. "Don't worry I'll take care of you my little kitten".

He walked towards me anger filled his eyes. "YOU THINK I WANT THIS?!", he grabbed my chin roughly forcing me to look into his eyes. They were filled with pain and guilt. "I'll get the bleach..." I whispered.
The familiar feeling of guilt and sadness rushed over me as I scrubbed away at the blood-soaked floor. I've kept his secret for too long...he's held me, prisoner, for a month now and yet I've managed to get him to trust me completely...One day I'll be able to escape
