•Alexis' POV•

I was happily munching on my breakfast when Blake dropped a bomb on me.

"We are going to school today."

The piece of pancake on my fork fell as I gaped at him.

Did he just say we are going to school?

"Did you just say we are going back to school?"

As much as I missed Ashley and Peter there is no way in hell I'm going to school. They can save me in a whole different way.

"Yup." He said, popping the 'p.'

"Why?" I groaned.

"As much as I also hate school we need our education."

I groaned before agreeing with him.

"Fine. But you better give me a new phone before we go to school."

"Speaking of that," he pulls a basket from behind and handed it to me.

"Here's your new phone."

I looked at him cautiously before grabbing the basket. Putting it on the table I lifted the blanket cover my new phone.

I let out a gasp, looking at Blake then on the phone.

"Y-you got me the newest apply phone!"

I prefer my iPhone 8 plus the iPhone 11 is supposedly better.

"Thank you!"

I felt he stared at me. I looked at him and saw him stared at me with narrowed eyes.

"What?" Did I do something wrong?

"No thank you kisses? Or hugs?" He complained.

"Uhh. Was I supposed to?"

I mean. I did say thank you. Isn't that enough? Besides, who wants to kiss their kidnapper? Not me.

He rolled his eyes and hugged me instead.

"Much better," he kissed the top of my head and let go, leaving me speechless.

"Ew! Now I have to take a shower!"

He glared at me. He grabbed my wrist and drag me to his car.

"Hey! Where are you taking me!?"

"To school. We are going to be late if you take a shower," he replied.

"Bu-“

I thought I saw his eyes darken but the moment I blinked his eyes were his usual baby blue color. I put my hands out to create some distance between us.

Now I want to go to school instead of being here alone with Blake.

“Let’s go to school!”

He stared at me for a while before letting me go and walking to the other side of the car. He started the engine and drove.

For the next 5 minutes, we were stuck in awkward silences. Just when I was about to speak we arrived at school.

Thank goodness.

"Don't even think about talking to any other guy," he warned.

"Who are you to tell me what to do and what not to do."

"Because...you're taken by me.”

I rolled my eyes.

"And? Who gave you that right?" I replied.

He closes his eyes and sucks in a breathe. He opened his eyes and stared at me with hard eyes.

"You know what. Never mind. Go ahead, do whatever. Just don't flirt with anyone or let them touch you."

"Yes, Father."

He glared at me as I stepped out. I quickly walked to school without glancing at him.

"Finally I'm free."

"ALEXIS RENE CARTER!" A voice echoed in the hallway.

Everyone stopped and stared at me as I cringed. Ashley?? You just had to be this dramatic.

"You're back!"

Before I could face her she tackled me down to the ground but luckily Peter caught us before we fell.

I heard a small noise of disapproval before it was silent again.

"I miss you so much! Did you know how worry I was!"

I got up and held my back.

"I miss you too Ashley. But jeez, woman. Let me breathe first!"

She narrowed her eyes at me.

"I know you ain't talking to me like that."

I gulp and looked at Peter for help. But all he did was shook his head and mouth the word 'sorry.'

"I'm going to kill you, later." I mouth to him.

"Lexi!"

"Yes, Ashley..."

"Don't you ever do that again! Don't you ever go a miss- Will you guys just give us some peace!! Gosh! Don't you guys have lives to live?!"

Everyone turns away. Ashley let out a sigh.

"No one can mind their own business nowadays. Anyways don't ever go missing again!"

I nodded.

"Promise."

Well...maybe not promise. It depends on how Blake will take this.

"Now let's go to class!"

She dragged Peter away leaving me behind. As we walk inside the classroom I was met with Blake's gaze.

He stared at me every single move. I walk to the farthest seat away from him, which was in the front, which makes him piss off.

He narrowed his eyes at me and clench his jaw. I face the front which made a paper ball hit my head.

I look back at him and mumble the word jerk. He threw another one but I ignored it. I heard a loud sigh from the back, scratch that, everyone heard that loud sigh from the back.

Ashley and Peter raised their eyebrows at me but I just shook my head. That's when my phone vibrated.

I took it out, glancing at the busy teacher, before looking at the text message.

From: The Most Handsome Man Alive

I rolled my eyes. He must have added his number and put that before giving me the phone.

From: My Worst Nightmare

I smile in satisfaction. Much better.

From: My Worst Nightmare
Why did you sit so far away?

To: My Worst Nightmare
Duh! I didn't want to sit by you.

I instantly got a reply.

From: My Worst Nightmare
But I miss you

We just saw each other 30 minutes ago.

To: My Worst Nightmare
Suck it up Mr. Deform Shrek man

I put my phone on silent and paid attention to the teacher. The whole class period I felt someone's eyes burn straight through my head.

I didn't have to look to know that it was Blake.

The moment the bell rang I flashed out of the classroom with Ashley and Peter.

"You want lunch? Yea I'm sure you do. Let's go!"

"Why the rush?" Peter asked.

I looked at him before dragging them to the cafeteria.

"Blake is going to murder me if we don't hurry."

"Why?" They both asked.

"No time to explain. Let's just go eat."

"You thought you could run away, did you. Gattina?"

Shit.
