IT WAS THE NIGHT of the date and Lucas couldn’t help but feel almost - alone. His friends weren’t talking to him, Kentrell and the whole boy group was ignoring him, or rather giving him the cold shoulder, and Pryce of all people -- didn’t want shit to do with him.
He stared into his bedroom mirror, plucking the lint off his black shirt before running his fingers through his curls that were still in the process of drying. He couldn’t help but let his mind wonder... ”Was I doing the right thing?“.
In his mind, he was technically single...but in his heart, he knew what he was doing was wrong. He knew since that night that he had people that wanted him -- cared for him. He was just... scared.
He’d never been with men, and he was taught that it was one hundred percent wrong. Gabriele was an attractive women that had her head on straight, and not to mention, she was beautiful. He couldn’t ask for more.
Or, so he thought.
Checking the time, his eyes widened. He had to be at her dorm by eight-thirty and it was eight-twenty right now.
He exited the bathroom before making his way into the living room, a small smile on his face at the sight in front of him. There everyone sat, on the living room floor playing Monopoly. Pryce sat in Keith’s lap, as the twins laid on one another. Derrick had a concentrated look on his face as Joe and Kentrell were goofing around with the money, throwing some on Shannons butt as she somewhat jiggled it while laying down.
“O-okay, I’ll be back in about two hours,” Lucas interrupted, standing shyly behind the couch. Everyone glanced towards him, looking him up and down before resuming their game, smiles back on their faces as they focused on their little group.
He frowned. “I-I can stay i-if you want.”
“Lucas” Kentrell said, eyes closed and jaw tightly smashed together, “Just go, mane.”
“Please leave, Lucas.” Pryce said, rolling his eyes, but slightly relaxing when Keith placed a kiss on his cheek.
A deep frown settled on his face as he began to make his way to the door. He felt like this was wrong, but he tightened up. Hell, they just told him to leave, so why should he feel bad.
“Lucas.” He heard, causing him to quickly turn around, a smile on his face and eyes brighting with hope, hoping the group was going to tell him to stay and change their mind about being mad at him.
Derrick stood up, moving to the couch before picking up his jacket. He moved in front of Lucas, standing face to face, only a few inches of vacant space left in front of them. He leaned in, and whispered into his ear.
He dropped the material on the floor at the feet of Lucas before walking away, a smile on his face as he sat with the group, laughing and carrying on as if he didn’t take a chunk of Lucas’s heart back over there with him.
Saddened, he bent down, picked up the jacket, and without another word, left the dorm, locking it behind him.
Letting out a breath, Pryce was the first to speak, a frown on his face as soon as the door closed. “That was hard as hell, did you see the look on his face?”
Kentrell frowned as well. “I wanted ta’ go hug his lil’ ass but, this the only way he gonna’ learn. He can’t keep confusing everyone just cause he confused himself.”
“Right. Lucas know what’s up. He gon’ be back tonight, and we can all love up on him,” Derrick then turned and glared at the twins, “Except y’all two.”
They rolled their eyes before shrugging. “That’s fine. We both have new boo’s anyway. The dorm is all y’alls tonight. Enjoy.”
Everyone raised their eyebrows at them, curious. “And who the hell might that be? Don’t get hurt,” Joseph spoke, Shannon and Shannade both cheesing as Pryce glared at them.
The group was new, but because they fit so well, everyone was so protective of each other.
“We gon’ scared dem niggas, so it don’t even matter Jo,” Derrick declared, both twins rolling their eyes as the two boys dapped one another up.
“Anyways!” Keith yelled, voice booming over everyone in the dorm.
“It’s time to put our plan into action. Shannade, did you do what you were supposed to do after the meeting in the auditorium today?” Keith asked, watching as she nervously fiddled with her fingers.
“C’mon Nade, really?” Pryce groaned, running a hand down his face. He should have known this would happen -- black people are always doing something wrong. You can lay out the whole plan, and there will always be that one person that forgets or does something completely wrong.
“What?! I don’t like her okay, and I’m not fake. I could not befriend that bitch. But, I did search up how to pick locks, and I practiced. Watch this,” she reassured, before standing up and making her way out the dorm.
Kentrell got up, locking the door before standing in front of it, hands crossed on his chest. He watched as the door-handle jiggled for a few seconds before he heard the lock click, and the door was opening.
There Shannade stood, a bobby pin in her hand, and a strand of hair between her lips. She pinned the piece of hair back up before cheesing.
“Period.” She spoke before walking in and slapping Kentrell on the back of his neck.
“Stop, ahaha!” She screamed as he picked her up and threw her over his shoulder, turning around and falling onto the couch, both of them slamming onto the cushion. Oddly though, they heard a loud ‘snap’, and then they dipped, the couch falling onto the floor.
“Kentrell!” Pryce screamed, standing up from Keith’s lap and stomping this foot. He looked at the right two legs of the couch, rolling his eyes when he noticed they were flat on the wooded floor, meaning they were broken.
So now they needed a new couch, and obviously he needed a new boyfriend. Great.
His eyes widened as he realized what he said -- in his head of course.
He liked the thought of that. Slightly smiling, he imagined calling of them his boyfriend. Not a bad image, if he must say so himself.
Kentrell stood up, rolling Shannade off him before standing up and hugging Pryce, placing a kiss behind his ear. “I’m sorry, lil’ baby. I’ll buy you a new one, aight? Don’t be mad at daddy, lil’ slime.”
Pryce huffed, he couldn’t be mad at him anymore. Not when Kentrell’s hot breath was breathing into his ear, and his hands were massaging his waist comfortably. Plus, the cute little pet names he was calling him.
“We’re going this weekend to pick one out, and there better not be no price restrictions, since you wanna’ fuck up everyone shit.”
Kentrell nodded before placing a small peck on the boys lips. “Any price for my Pryce.”
Chuckling, he pushed Kentrell away from him before turning to the group.
“All right, listen up!” he yelled, starting his speech.
“He makin’ ma’ dick hard the way he yellin’ at us,” Derrick whispered to Joseph, who nodded his head, agreeing.
“Swea’. And look at him, his hands on his lil’ ass hips. Cute shit, I’ll fuck his whole walk up.”
Derrick scrunched his face up, “Nigga. You realize he’s mine too. We gon’ fuck his whole pelvis up, fuck you talm’ bout.” Joseph and himself chuckled quietly, dapping one another up before paying attention once again.
“We all need to split up. Kentrell, Shannon, and myself will go into her dorm room and look around, Keith is gonna’ be lookout. Just incase we come home earlier than we suspected or--,” he was cut off when Kentrell raised his hand.
Rolling his eyes, he pointed to the boy. “Yes, Ken?”
He put his hand down before shrugging, “It’s too late nai, but we should have cut the breaks to her gotdamn car.”
Everyone stared at him quietly, wondering if he was right in the mind. Shannon put a hand on his shoulder, a concerned look on her face.
“Blink twice if you’re not okay.”
He flicked her hand off before frowning. “It was jus’ a suggestion, mane.”
“Umm...like I was saying before I was stupidly interrupted,” Kentrell flicked him off, slouching down and frowning, “Joe, Derrick, and Shannade will be in the public library. I had a friend, whose into data base shit, and you know, illegal stuff, copy her personal information on a hard-drive. He’ll meet you guys there, you pay him the money I’m gonna’ give y’all, take the flash drive, and then find any information we can use against her.”
Everyone nodded, the plan sounded fine.
“Alright, everyone ready?” Pryce asked.
Looking around, they all nodded before standing up, getting ready to do what they needed to. To get their LuLu back, once and for all.

“And...got it.” Shannon said before pushing the dorm open, the smell of Vanilla perfume filled the dorm room, instantly hitting them in the face. Her dorm room was nice, bright. The colors were yellows and purples and pinks and blue and everything under the sun. It should have looked a hot damn mess, but the way she put it together was -- nice.
“Please be careful, bae,” Keith whispered to Pryce, who stood on his tiptoes and gave a kiss to his cheek, slightly reassuring him.
The girls, and Pryce, walked into the dorm room, shutting the door. They all learned that she stayed alone, so they weren’t worried about anyone possibly popping up right about now.
“Okay, we can split up and just look through everything. Be careful and put everything back into the right place.”
Nodding, they all split up.
Pryce walked quietly towards her bedroom. He snapped the light on before looking around. It was neat -- as hell. Everything was in place and honestly well put together.
It was perfect.
And it made him hate her even more.
“Well, this is gonna’ be a lot harder than I thought.”
