Chapter Thirty-One| Eden

It's been a week since we arrived in St.Lucia. Theo has been crazily overprotective, I'm lucky to even go and take a shit by myself.

We met Theo's friend, Eddie. The reunion between the two men was quite emotional.

We learnt that even though Eddie was shot right in front of Theo, he was able to escape the lab.

What angered Theo was how Eddie was saved and hidden by Oliver. In a way, Theo felt betrayed that Oliver was the able to get Eddie out and not come back for him.

Theo had to endure many more years of abuse, thinking his best friend was very much dead. On top of that he was forced to murder more people.

Eddie is very nice, he still looks how he did in the picture the man showed me in the car park that day. His blonde hair is in a buzz cut and his green eyes are very bright, full of life. He was extremely happy to see Theo, the two really are the best of friends.

He's only a couple inches shorter than my Theo but he still looks like he's built like a brick wall.

"Good news." Theo lifts his head from my lap and we turn to look at Oliver who walks in with a smile on his face.

I take a glance at the wedding ring on his finger and I'm still shocked at how he is married to his husband, James who is a hacker.

"What is it?" Theo questions, looking at him with wide eyes.

"The police are off our back." He claps his hands together and I frown.

"How?" I question him, seeming a bit suspicious.

"James has spent the whole week hacking into the police system back home and he's been able to wipe any evidence of Theo and Eddie being a threat to society." My frown stays in place.

"So that's it? Theo won't get arrested by the police?" Oliver nods his head and smiles brightly. "What about Professor Richards? He's the biggest threat." Then his smile drops and he purses his lips.

"We're trying to figure out his next move, however he's gone off the radar." I feel Theo tense beside me and then he stands up.

"We need to find him." Theo growls out, standing in front of me in a protective stance. "I want to kill him myself." My eyes widen and I look down at the rug beneath my feet.

"Theo, I don't think that would be a good idea. Let someone else do that." Oliver says, raising his arms up.

I watch Theo clench his fist and he shakes his head. "I need to protect, Small and our baby. I will do anything to protect them!" He exclaims and then storms out the villa and I watch him make his way onto the beach.

"That boy." Oliver sighs and closes his eyes, rubbing the sides of his head.

"Can you blame him?" I whisper. "He's got a lot of anger inside of him and you can't stop him from expressing it and you know that." Oliver looks at me and nods his head.

"I know, I know." He takes a seat next to me and rests his arms on his thighs. "I just want him to have a normal life, I feel so guilty for not being there for him when I should of. You two deserve to be happy." He smiles at me and I smile back.

"We will, don't worry." I rest my hand on top of his.

"You should go and check on him." I nod my head and stand up.

I carefully walk down the stairs. Now being nearly five months pregnant my stomach is getting bigger.

Theo nearly lost his shit when I missed a step on the wooden stairs. Luckily he was behind me otherwise it wouldn't of been good. He scolded me like there was no tomorrow, the worry on his face was overwhelming, so now he carries me down the steps.

But he's not here to do that now, so it takes me longer to step onto the sandy ground.

I make my way closer to the shore, the light wind making my tea dress flow. I smile gently when I spot Theo in the water, his muscled back facing me.

I take off my dress, revealing my pink bikini and make my way over to Theo. I jump a little when the clear seawater touches my feet.

Theo must sense me and then turns around, a frown on his face. He looks at me and then to the villa stairs behind me.

Yeah, he's not happy.

He clenches his jaw and faces me again.

"Hi." I give him a weak smile and make my way up to him until the water is just under my breasts.

"Small." He says in a warning voice.

"Giant." I try to mimic him and he tries to hold back a smile but he can't.

He crouches down so he is level with me and I then wrap my body around him. The calming waves surround us and he smiles down at me.

"Have you calmed down now?" I whisper and then kiss his neck. He moans and I feel him nod his head. "I love you."

"I love you, too." He mumbles into my neck.

"We don't have to worry about the police, so that's good." I pull back and look at him, he bites his lip.

"I'd rather be dealing with the police than Professor Richards." He sighs.

"This will be over before you know it, then we can focus on this little one." I take his hand and rest it on my belly.

"I can't wait to meet her." He whispers in admiration. "Tiny." He looks at me with his red eyes and I feel my heart flutter.

"You'll be such a good daddy." I wink and I watch his cheeks go a shade of red.

"Small." He groans. I then tease him by brushing myself against his bulge. "Small!" I throw my head back and laugh.

However, Theo then dunks me under the water and then I shoot up with a gasp.

"My hair!" I jump off of him and hit his arm. "Theo!" This time he laughs and I take the time to splash him. I giggle when he chokes on some of the sea water.

We continue to play around in the sea, until the sun begins to set.

I wrap my arms around his neck and smirk at him.

"Take me to bed." I tell him and he smiles, lifting me up.

"Of course, small."
