"Good day, Miss Williams. Right this way." The flight attendant politely smiled, before giving London a once off. She then turned to the stairs and led the three of us up into the jet. We got situated on our seats before she asked," May I get you anything?"
"Miss Williams, it's a pleasure to fly with you today." The pilot, Samantha came in.
"Good day, Samantha. I hope the flight runs smoothly." I smiled.
"As always. Please fasten your seatbelts and get ready for take off." She said with a slight bow before turning around and returning to the front.
"May I please have a glass of water?" I asked the flight attendant.
"And you Sir? Ma'am?" She asked London and Emma.
"Juice please!" Excitedly chirped Emma from my side on the window seat.
"I'll have juice too, thanks." London smiled.
"Apple, mango or Orange?" She asked, her eyes never leaving London's figure.
I quietly sighed before pulling out my laptop and setting out to work. London can handle a woman interested in him on his own, I'm sure he doesn't need my help.
"Mango for me and Apple for my daughter." London said, his eyes seemingly staring at Emma and I. My heart fluttered at how he addressed Emma, no hesitation could be heard in his tone or words. He was confident.
"Right away, Sir." The attendant politely said, still keeping her composure. I command her for that, not even for a second did she make it irritably obvious that she was admiring London, well until her eyes lingered on him for too long.
The sound of retreating footsteps could be heard as she left to go fetch our beverages.
A warm, strong and large hand soft engulfed my softer, smaller one making electricity flow at the touch. My heart melted as it swooned at the contact. A hand cupped my chin and gently lifted my head so my eyes connected with a pair of beautiful, green orbs.
"Are you alright, Baby?" Asked London with a reassuring smile for some reason.
"Yes, why?" I asked, cocking my head.
He lightly chuckled, before patting the vacant seat beside him," Please come sit with me, Sweetheart?"
I looked at him with curious eyes before buckling Emma's seatbelt and moving to sit next to London as he had asked. I sat down next to him before reaching out for my laptop so it was in front of me.
A pair of lips suddenly grazed my ear with their warm breath, making shivers run down my spine.
"You never have to worry about other women with me. I am only yours and nobody else's." He whispered, making me flush at being caught.
"W-what?" I stuttered, making me internally curse myself as I turned to look at him, making him move his face.
"Baby, you might not think so but I know you by now." He smirked at me, before quickly stealing a peck from my lips, leaving me gaping at him.
"Here are your beverages, Sir, Ma'ams." The hostess politely smiled, putting the drinks infront of their respective owners.
"Thank you." I politely smiled.
To be honest, I think I'm insecure around any woman except my mother. Most women in my profession are tall and just perfect whereas I'm just a plain Jane. My insecurities have only grown more apparent now that I'm with London. I'm always waiting for that day that he'll decide that I'm not for him and he'll go for someone much better than me because I have no doubt there is.
A pair of lips on my own had me back to reality and out of my deep thoughts, making all the worry drain out of my body as tears threatened to leave my eyes.
"Baby, what's wrong? Please tell me so I can try and help." He asked as he broke our kiss, worry dripping from every word.
"London... I'm scared." I whispered, trying to keep my traitorous tears at bay," I mean, I'm broken and just a plain Jane whereas there are many women still in one peace that you could swear are Goddesses because of their unearthly beauty. I'm insecure, London. Very insecure." I admitted as I looked down at my lap and balled my fists just as a traitorous tear left my eye and dropped onto them.
"Daddy, may I please play a game from your phone?" Asked Emma, nearly making me cover my mouth in disbelief and happiness at what Emma called London. It felt so surreal yet so right." Mommy, are you alright?"
I pulled myself together and gathered all my strength before looking up at her with a genuine smile of happiness, all insecurities pushed to the back of my head," I'm more than alright, Baby." I reassured.
"Here you go, Baby Girl. " London happily smiled, handing my, no OUR daughter his cellphone," Remember, be careful not to drop it."
His arm stretched to the back of my shoulder before gently laying me onto his shoulder.
"Ladies and gentleman, please fasten your seatbelts and prepare for take off." Matthew, Samantha's co-pilot's voice came through the intercom.
A pair of lips pressed onto my temple before London softly said," Baby, you are my forever. I love you with all of me and there's no woman that will ever match you in my eyes. You are the epitome of perfection for me, Baby. You gave me a home, then a daughter and your trust. No other woman did that and will ever get to do that because you are my it. You are my last as long as you'll have me and that I promise you, Baby."
My heart melted into a puddle at his words as tears finally left my eyes.
"London." I found myself whispering.
"Sshh. You don't have to say anything back." He whispered, pressing a kiss onto my temples.
"My heart." I softly said, wrapping my arm around his waist and closing my eyes as I hid my face in his neck.
"Huh?" He asked in confusion, facing me.
"You forgot my heart." I smiled.
A boyish grin of excitement took over his features as he pressed multiple kisses onto my lips in happiness.
"Thank you." He kept on saying between each kiss.
"Eww, Daddddyyyy." Whined Emma, making us turn to her disgusted face.
"What?" Asked London innocently.
"You're eating, Mommy's face." She said, before swooning and saying," That's so romantic."
"What?" I asked in amusement.
"Yes, that's what all the girls in Grandma's movies say when a girl and boy kiss." She said, a look of pride taking over her features.
Turning to London, I nearly broke into laughter at his traumatised, bewildered face.
"You are not kissing a boy until you're 26." He simply stated, making me break out into laughter.
He turned to me in disbelief and said," You think I'm joking. I'm serious here, Babe. My daughter is not kissing a filthy boy until her honeymoon."
"But we're not married yet we've kissed." I said batting my eyelashes.
"Well we're different." He defended," Fine, but still, no boys until she's 26."
Emma giggled making us turn to her," I won't Daddy. Boys are yucky."
"Does that mean Daddy's also yucky?" I asked mischievously.
"Daddy is different, he's Daddy. Daddy's cool." She smiled at her daddy who smiled at her with utter love.
"Thanks Baby Girl. I love you, you know that?" He cooed, making her giggle.
"I love you too, Daddy." She smiled, before turning to the window in awe,"Wow, it looks so pretty."
"It does, doesn't it?" Asked London with the same enthusiasm as he also looked outside the window.
"Well, I better start working." I said, placing a kiss on his neck, making him shiver before turning to me.
"Was that necessary?" He pouted.
"I like being able to kiss you anywhere I wish." I pouted back with puppy dog eyes.
"Fine," He groaned," Manipulative woman."
I giggled, opening my laptop and getting to work. The next hour was filled with silence except for my typing. Eventually my little Love fell asleep as expected.
"We can put her in the bedroom." I suggested, stretching my stiff arms and legs.
"Maybe I can give you a message while we're there?" London offered.
"How about I take a raincheck on that one." I apologetically smiled." Let me take her to the room then I'll be back."
"Sure Baby. Anything you want and be back soon." He squinted his eyes in an intimidating stare before winking at me and doing something on his phone.
I walked to Emma and unbuckled her seatbelt before picking her up and taking her to the Jet's one bedroom. I laid her down and covered her with a light blanket before pressing a kiss on her temple. I quietly slipped out of the room and made my way back to my seat where London seemed to be in deep thought as he stared outside the window with a lost look.
"Baby," I softly called, placing my hand on his shoulder causing him to jerk in surprise and turn to me," Are you alright?"
"Yeah, yeah I'm just a bit nervous." He weakly smiled before laying his head on my shoulder.
"I'm sure everything will be okay, my Beau. There's no need to feel nervous beside, you have Emma and I as support." I reassured with a soft smile.
"I know and I'm more than happy that I do." He smiled, interlocking our fingers and leading them to his lips, brushing his lips against my hand." I love you, Baby. You mean alot to me and never forget that. You are my sunshine and my moonlight. You are my everything." He whispered." And please don't feel obligated to return my devotion."
"I don't, but I want to because I find that I've fallen for you and hard," I chuckled," I love you and I'm so thankful for how much patience you have for me. You are always so patient with me when it comes to my constantly occuring insecurities, mood swings, melt downs and generally you are p-"I stopped as a pair of lips cut off my words.
"Sshhh, I'll always be patient with you, Baby. Just know that." He whispered against my lips before pulling me into his lap and making me straddle his lap before he gripped my hips.
I cupped his face before leaving in to join our lips again.
A clearing of someone's throat had me hiding my head in his neck in embarrassment and wrap my arms around loosely around his neck, making London lightly laugh at me.
"Yes?" He politely asked.
"Well, ummm, I came to check if you were in need of any refreshments, my apologies for the interruption." She apologized.
"It's okay, but I think a glass of water will do for me, I'm thirsty," He politely asked," Would you like anything my Heart?"
If I could dig myself further into her neck, I would have at that moment but unfortunately I couldn't, so I had to suffer the embarrassment.
"Water." I murmured against his neck, not being able to face her.
"Two bottles of water, please?" He asked.
"Alright Sir." She said before her retreating steps sounded.
"How could you be so calm?" I asked.
"Well, I'm not the one on my lap, Baby." He mischievously chuckled.
"You're mean, London." I pouted, my head still comfortably buried in his neck.
"No, just honest is all, Babe," He chuckled. Footsteps sounded as they headed in our direction before London spoke," Thank you."
"Sure," The hostess politely said," Please feel free to call if you need me."
"Thank you." London thanked before removing his hands from my hips and holding each side of my waist with one.
The steps retreated again before I moved my face to stare at him with a flushed face, I'm sure.
"You look stunning even in embarrassment, my Love." He winked, making me let out a cry and hide in his neck again.
"You're mean, London." I whined, making way to get off his lap, but his hand instantly moved to my hips and firmly held me in place.
"Where are you off to now, Babes?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Next to you or opposite you, besides, I want to finish some work. It will only take me thirty minutes at most." I shrugged, bringing my hand up to his hair and twisting a tendril around my pointer finger.
"Okay," He groaned, turning me around on his lap so I was facing the table again," But I'm enjoying this position so I'm not putting you down," He whined, wrapping his arms around my waist once more in a firm but gentle lock.
I giggled and looked up before planting a kiss at the corner of his lips. I turned back around, and started typing on my laptop as he dug his head into my neck and placed tender butterfly kisses while facing the screen. Instinctively, I found myself tilting my neck to give him more space, making him chuckle before proceeding with his assault.
After thirty minutes, I moved us to the opposite side where there were TVs. I sat down next to him and wrapped my arms around his arms, while he put his hand on my thigh and drew patterns as we watched a movie. A couple of minutes into the movie and laid my head onto his lap and was gone into a peaceful slumber, the movie acting as a lullaby to my sleepy, tired mind.
