Chapter Seventeen

Shae’s P.O.V

I jumped up and down on my bed, listening to music. I love music, it makes me feel so happy and energized. My mood has been so high lately as if I’m high on life. Things have just been going great for me in all areas and on top of it, I’m almost done with school and can go on a world tour. Also, Darien and I have been...having fun a lot lately -still sneaking around- and it is thrilling! I feel so naughty.

“What are you doing?” Andy asked, coming into my room. He was eating a vanilla cone and I ran over to him and stole it.

“Mmm!” I grinned.

“Why!” He cried out dramatically. I giggled. “I need to stop coming in here.”

“You need to but you can’t because you love me. Now hug me, brother, I want to share the joy!” I said before tackling him to the ground.

“Are you high?” He asked, laughing.

“High off of Darien,” I said dreamily and dramatically. He rolled his eyes before flinging me off of him.

“Ugh.” He said and I scoffed.

“Don’t be like that, you know you’re head over heels for Cass,” I said in a mocking tone and he blushed. He actually blushed!

“Go to sleep.” He said, still red. I laughed and smirked.

“I should call her and tell her how much you love her!” I said dragging out the words. He narrowed his eyes as I grabbed my phone. He tackled me and we started wrestling for the phone. “MOM!” I screamed in between laughter.

“Shut up.” He said.

“Greg!” I yelled again.

“Stop screaming in my ear.” He poked me.

“What’s the problem?” Mom asked, penguin walking into the room. “WHAT DID I TELL YOU TWO ABOUT WRESTLING?!” She yelled. “Gosh, it’s like I’m raising animals. I mean, I’ve only been raising you for a few months but it’s like you’re twins.”

“She started it!” Andy said and I rolled my eyes.

“Oh suck some,” I stuck my tongue out.

“Excuse me?” Mom placed her hands on her hips and I blushed.

He grinned evilly. “I don’t suck...I’m not you...I don’t suck off my boyfriend at night when we’re supposedly doing homework.” He said and I gasped loudly.

“W-what...I ... what!” I stuttered, trying to hide my face from mom.

“Oh yeah. I heard.” He shrugged.

“Oh yeah? You want to play dirty? Coming from the guy who comes home, kisses his stepmom after he’s done kissing his girlfriend’s....let me not finish that.” I snapped back. Andy’s eyes widened. “Yeah..” I waved.

“Enough you two! Now go do something and get out of my hair. What am I going to do? Take care of 4 babies?!” She said, throwing her hands up.

“Uh, Shannon...mommy dearest...” Andy said, looking down in horror. I followed his eyes and I gasped. Her water broke!

“Your water broke!” I exclaimed. She quickly looked down and gasped before freaking out.

“W-what...Oh! My...oh my gosh.” She started hyperventilating.

“Mom relax. Go clean up. I’ll get your things and Andy will call Greg. Calm down.” I smiled. She started doing breathing exercises and went to the bathroom.

“Oh my gosh,” Andy said, looking traumatized.

“Oh shut up.” I laughed.

An hour or so later, we were all at the hospital. Mom and Greg were both in the room, getting prepared and trying to stay calm. The floor was kind of empty and bodyguards were posted at all exits. Don’t want any crazy paps or fans running in here.

“Aren’t you guys excited!” I asked, smiling. My friends had come over since labor is usually a long process however mom was actually very far along.

“Yeah! They’re going to be adorable!” Cass beamed.

“I know right! And spoiled!” Sheila added and I nodded, bouncing in my seat.

“I can’t wait to have kids.” Jackie sighed dreamily.

“Whoa babe,” James coughed.

“What?” She blinked.

“Kids...can wait.” He breathed out.

“Of course. I still have my career and I’m not ready to put it on hold for some damn kids! They can wait a couple of years!” She laughed.

“That sounded kind of rude,” Sheila chimed in. “Damn kids.” She mocked in a bitchy voice.

“That’s not how I sound.” Jackie retorted.

“Well, it’s how you just sounded.” Sheila spat.

“Wait...are you guys fighting right now?” Andrea asked.

“No!” They both said and looked away, rolling their eyes.

“Looks like you are...” Michael dragged out.

“Well, I didn’t start it!” Jackie said and Sheila snorted.

“Yeah of course you didn’t because you never do anything wrong.” Sheila spat.

“Oh? And what the hell did I do?” Jackie asked, raising her voice a little.

“Well, I’m not the one who was bad-mouthing her best friend’s boyfriend!” Sheila lightly yelled.

“What do you mean?!” Jackie said, throwing her hands up in the air.

“Oh does this ring a bell? ‘oh I think you should just break things off with Dylan before it gets real serious you know...blah blah’ ring any damn bells?!”

“Whoa...what?” Dylan asked, now paying attention.

“I didn’t mean it like that!” Jackie exasperated.

“Then how?! Because it obviously seems like you never want me to be happy since most of my relationships end because of you!” Sheila yelled.

“Lies!” Jackie screamed back.

“Yeah lies my ass! Then why did you say that?” Sheila asked.

“Because what?!”

“Because you’re my best friend and I don’t want to see you hurt!”

“Dylan would never hurt me!”

“I would never hurt her!” Dylan and Sheila said simultaneously.

“I know that!” Jackie said, sighing. “I mean when your parents find out! Dylan is obviously a bad boy and is not in your parents ‘book’ and they will do anything to get you apart and I don’t want to see my best friend hurt.”

“Really?” Sheila said softly

“Really, Sheila. I love you and I always want you to be happy. I’m just worried that something bad will happen because of your parents.” Jackie said, sighing.

“Don’t worry. We’ll be fine. I’ll tell my parents and who cares if they approve or not? It’s my life. Haven’t they heard Gwen Stafani’s song?” She joked to relieve some tension.

“I’m sorry, I should’ve just made myself clear.” Jackie said.

“It’s okay, I should’ve just asked you to elaborate.” Sheila smiled, hugging her.

“That was umm...interesting...” Andy said. I nodded and rubbed at the back of my neck.

“So uh how about them....footballers?” Andrea asked. Darien smiled at her.

“ the babies will soon be here! Can’t wait!” I replied. We turned as we heard a bunch of groaning and ‘push, Shannon!’

Shannon’s P.O.V

Her little fingers wrapped around my thumb and tried to suck on it. I grinned as I held my baby girl. Greg sat next to me holding our baby boy. They were adorable and looked like Shae and Andy combined. The kids came in all squealing and I giggled like a young teen.

“Shh!” Greg scolded with a smile.

“Sorry...but hand me my babies!” Shae whispered and I laughed. She’s been more excited than me.

“Say hello to Sanna Jade and Aiden James.” Greg beamed.

“Awe!” The girls gushed.

“They are so cute Mrs. T!” Jackie cried out.

“Thanks, guys.” I grinned. I watched as Shae held Sanna and played with her while Darien was over her shoulder and thoughts ran through my mind. What if they have a baby? What if Shae goes down my path? Having a baby young isn’t easy. Will Darien stay with her? Uh, I just hope they are using protection. They’re obviously having sex but, I know Shae is smart.

Darien’s P.O.V

I watched as Shae played with her baby sister. It was so cute looking at my girl. I swallowed as thoughts of marriage and babies swarmed my head. I do want to marry her one day and have a big family-- I’ve always wanted a big family. I love her and she’s my forever girl. She is and always will be mine.
