The Alpha And I

Cici

When we get to The Black Moon Pack's gate the driver drags me out and throws my bag out of the car. I whimper and stumble towards the gate where I see 2 figures waiting for me.

I shake in fear.

The Black Moon Pack is known for their brutality, they have the largest territory in the world. They also have the biggest pack. Their Alpha is so feared that children shake and cry at the mention of his name.

The two men grab an arm on either side of me and start taking me through the gate. "Is this her?" The man holding my right arm says.

"I think so, she smells like it." The guy on my left says. "Even if this is her she won't last long. The alpha will kick her out in no time, I know he said she had no wolf but he claimed she was an Alpha child so she was at least strong!"

“What?" I whimper, but they don't listen and just keep dragging me along to a small house in a clearing. I look up at the man to me left. He has a look I know all to well on his face so he must be mind linking Beta Paul.

"I know... she's too small to be an Alpha child, he must have just wanted someone else to put her out of her misery" the guy to my right snickers.

Before I can say anything they set me down on the doorstep and disappear. I shake and tremble on the doorstep, it was the middle of winter and I wasn't exactly supplied with warm clothes from my pack. On top of that I am so scared I can't even move. I don't even notice someone has picked me up and carried me inside. I shake and tremble when I click out of my shock, I realise I'm looking into the eyes of Beta Paul.

"Hey." He says. I only whimper. "Don't be scared." He says. "I'm not going to hurt you." He carefully sets me down on a bed. I can't help but think about what my father said about "Rape". Beta Paul must know what I am thinking because he shakes his head. "No, no, no. I will not EVER do that to you." He says. I visibly relax. He keeps on shaking his head like me even thinking that is making him hate himself. "You've had a long day." He says. "Sleep, I won't hurt you. I promise I won't force anything you don't like, I won't even marry you."

I whimper even louder and shake my head "My dad will kill me if I don't." I say.

"Shh, your dad isn't here so don't worry about him." With that I pass out from relief and sleepiness.

I wake up to sunlight streaming through a window. I sigh and close my eyes before I remember where I am. I yelp and sit up. Fear crawls down my spine as I swing my legs over the side of the bed and walk out of the room.

Beta Paul is sitting at at a coffee table staring at a pack file. When I walk in his eyes fly to mine. "Hey." I manage to say, the back of my throat dying from thirst.

"Hey, sit down." He motioned to a spot across from him. On the table is mug of coffee and eggs and bacon. I walk over and sit down taking a bite of the bacon. "So, Cici. Alpha Ash wants me to brief you on some stuff about the pack." He says. My eyes meet his and I got a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach.

"Your father already shared with us that you've lost your wolf." He says. I nod and drop my gaze. "Listen, Cici, to be honest with you the Alpha doesn't want a burden on the pack, I don't think you can stay here. You're not fit for a wife or for much else in the duties we expect of our members." The second he said those words my whole world came crashing down.

"W-what?" I cry out.

"As you know there aren't a lot of women in this pack. The ones who are though are strong and independent," I make my eyes go blank to stop myself from completely braking down in front of him.

"Ok." I say. Paul gives me a sympethetic look.

"I'm sorry, but from this point on you can either go back to your father or you're a rougue." He says, then he gets up and leaves.
