Chapter 16. Decoy

Aria

When I came out of my bathroom, Ace stood there. Ace’s lips parted when he took in my outfit. His eyes darkened from jealousy.

I chuckled at his reaction. Nobody had even seen me yet, but he reacted instantly.

“Damn, bebita. You got to look that sexy to go kill people?” Ace arched a brow.

I threw my head back and laughed. “I’m the decoy, Ace,” I said and smirked.

“Decoy?” he asked. “Like bait? That is ridiculous you shouldn’t—”

“I’m just going to get flirty with the men at the gate to distract them. You are going to kill them,” I said and shrugged.

His eyes traveled my body as he spoke.

“Fucking damn right, I am going to kill them,” he muttered darkly.

“Come on,” I said and giggled. I grabbed his arm and pulled him toward the door.

“I’ve got a feeling we do this a lot,” he said.

“And you hate it every time,” I said.

“I believe that,” he grunted. When we got downstairs, the others were waiting in the foyer.

We walked out of the house to a couple of vans that were parked outside. Ace drove one, and Luis drove the other.

Ace sped through the city with Luis behind him.

“Are you about done tweaking their cameras, Benny?” I asked.

“Just about. . .” Benny trailed off for a few moments. “Done.”

We pulled the vans about a block away, around the corner from the place, so we weren’t seen. We jumped out of the vans. We grabbed several guns. As usual, I had a belt around my thigh that held several knives under my short skirt.

I had a few guns under my long black trench coat. Ace watched me curiously as I unbuttoned a few buttons on my blouse to show off my chest.

“I hate this,” Ace huffed.

“You always do,” Benny said and laughed.

I stood on my toes and pecked Ace on the cheek. “How do I look?” I asked. I slid the rubber band out of my hair and shook it around me. My hair fell to my waist.

“Sexy as fuck. Now go get them before I change my mind,” Ace muttered darkly.

I laughed and walked around Ace. I strolled down the block.

Two armed men stood at the gate. I smiled at them as I approached. I shook my hips more than usual. “Hey, gentlemen, my car just broke down around the corner. I left my phone at home. Is there any way you could help me out?” I purred.

They looked at each other and back to me. Their mouths hung open.

I gave them my best flirtatious smile.

“Yeah, absolutely,” one of the guards said.

“Great,” I said. I turned around and led them up the sidewalk.

Before we rounded the corner, I turned around because I knew Ace and Austin were about to jump out.

The men stopped. They looked at me, confused as to why I stopped. Ace and Austin grabbed them from behind. They both covered the men’s mouths and slid a blade across their throats.

“Well, that was easy,” I said and smiled.

“You put on a good show, bebita,” Ace said and chuckled.

We walked back over to the gate, opened it up, and walked through it. We helped Benny carry bags of explosives. We wired the outside of the entire building.

“Let’s go grab the kids,” I muttered to Ace.

We snuck through the back door without anyone noticing. The boys were busy outside, still wiring the house. Ace left a bomb near the foyer before we crept upstairs.

When we got upstairs, Ace suddenly grabbed my arm. We staggered down another hallway. I stumbled into him. Ace’s arms wrapped around my waist.

“What?” I whispered.

“Shh,” he hushed me. He leaned against a wall as I leaned against him. He slowly peeked his head around the corner but brought it back quickly. He pushed me toward a door and opened it slowly. It was dark, so he pushed me inside. I pulled my phone out to shed some light. We were in a closet.

“What did you see?” I whispered.

“They have a guard in the hall,” Ace whispered. Both our chests rose and fell. “Maybe you should stay here. I can deal with him.”

“So can I,” I argued.

“Bebita—” he started.

“Don’t you, bebita me, honey. I got this,” I muttered. I opened the door and messed my hair. Ace followed me out but stayed around the corner as I walked out.

“Excuse me,” I slurred. I staggered and pretended to be drunk.

The man’s eyes flickered suspiciously to mine. When he saw me, his eyes widened and swept over me.

“Do you know where the um bathroom is? This house is so huge,” I stammered.

He grabbed my arm to steady me. I stared into his eyes and smiled. He helped me to the bathroom just a few feet from where we stood. I turned to face the guard.

Ace watched me through narrowed eyes a few feet away. I slid my hand up my skirt with a devious smile. The man’s jaw dropped, and he watched as my skirt lifted slightly.

Suddenly, Ace stood behind him. Ace grabbed each side of the man’s head and spun it so fast and hard that the man’s neck snapped.

I huffed in irritation. “I told you I could handle it.”

“I don’t care,” Ace spat. Ace grabbed my arms and pinned me against the door that I stood in front of. “I fucking hate it when other guys look at you.” His eyes darkened.

Oh, he ain’t playing. My eyes widened.

His lips caught mine. So suddenly, I barely had time to register the kiss. There was a possessiveness to the kiss, and that was so like Ace. A moan built in the back of my throat, and he broke the kiss.

“You’re so sexy when you’re jealous,” I teased.

Ace narrowed his eyes at me, and I giggled. He pulled me down the hallway, and we checked different rooms for kids. We left bombs in empty rooms. We found five children. We didn’t let them get a good look at us.

We made it out of the mansion. My dad pulled a van up near the gate. We had the kids blindfolded so that they couldn’t see us. Most of them were young. My dad would drop them off a block from the police station.

Once in the van, we waited for Benny.

Benny jumped inside. Benny breathed erratically. “Okay, ready?” Benny asked.

“Blow this bitch,” Joey said impatiently.

Benny hit the button on the remote that ignited all the same bombs. The mansion exploded.

“Go,” I instructed to Ace.

Ace peeled out with all of us in the van but my dad.

“What a fucking relief,” I muttered.

Ace smirked. “Hell yeah.”

We drove back to the mansion. After the job that we just did, we could all use a drink. It was a lot of work to blow up a mansion full of people. The Chinese held an annual party for Chinese all around America. We probably killed every Chinese member that resided in the United States.

When we got into the foyer, I told Andersen everything went well and to start making drinks. I was just glad we outsmarted the Chinese enough that nobody got hurt on our end. Most wars tended to come with numbers.

“Poker, anyone?” Abel asked.

Everyone agreed to play. I sat the game out, but I sat on Ace’s lap and watched him play. Ace was excellent at poker. Andersen brought in everyone’s drinks. Andersen stayed in the dining room to watch the boys play. Andersen refilled our glasses when necessary. Dad strolled into the dining room.

“All went well?” I asked.

“Yep, you guys?” Dad asked as he took a seat.

“We’re whole,” I said and smiled.

“I’m proud of you, kid,” Dad said and smiled. “Now, do I get to get in on this game, too, or what?”

“Andersen, do you want to play?” I asked.

“Sure,” Andersen said. He sat down by Dad. When the boys needed drinks, I got up to refill their glasses.

Ace fell into the chatter around the table easily. We boasted about how great we did tonight. We were all happy we were intact. Miguel and Diego bowed out after the first game to head home.

Kimmy called Abel to tell him to get home.

We all laughed at Abel and wished him good luck because Kimmy didn’t sound happy.

Andersen stood up too.

“Andersen, you can play again,” I offered.

“You don’t pay me enough to bet what you all bet,” Andersen teased.

I snorted. “Oh, please. We both know that isn’t true.”

Andersen laughed. “Okay, I’m kidding, but seriously, I need to catch some sleep.”

“Suit yourself,” I said and shrugged.

After another round, everyone left. Ace won one game, and my dad won the other. It was just Ace and me at the table.

Ace sat his glass down and looked at me. “Time for bed?” he asked.

“Hmm,” I hummed. I pretended to think about it. “Only if that means you’re coming with me.” I gave him a mischievous smile as I stood up.

Ace didn’t move. He stared at me as I walked across the dining room.

I shook my hips as I walked. “Are you coming?” I smirked. I could tell from the look on his face that he understood the double meaning.

His gaze went from my butt to my eyes, and he smiled. “Not yet,” he said and chuckled.

I laughed and strolled out of the room. Once in my room, I quickly changed. I knew Ace was probably downstairs cleaning. Ace rarely left a mess, and the workers had gone to bed.

As I brushed through my hair, the door opened. I saw him in the door frame. I stared at him in the mirror that I stood in front of. Ace closed the distance and wrapped his arms around my waist. I laid my head against his chest.

His hands traced my curves as he buried his face into the crook of my neck. His lips trailed down my neck. “You do bad things to me,” he murmured against my ear.

The air escaped my lungs. Before I could react to what he said, he spun me around. My fingers clutched his shirt as his hand tangled into my hair. He smashed his lips to mine. Normally, he was the impatient one, but not this time. I shoved him toward the bed, not breaking the kiss.

Ace stumbled slightly. I pushed him down onto the mattress. He sat on the edge and watched me curiously. My eyes didn’t leave his as I stood between his legs and pulled the silk nightgown over my head. I stood in front of him, wearing nothing but a thong.

Ace swallowed hard, and I saw a hint of nervousness in his eyes. “You’re beautiful,” he murmured.

My heart pounded against my ribs as I climbed onto his lap. I grabbed the hem of his shirt and pulled it off. His fingers tangled into my hair again, and he brought my lips to his.

Sparks shot through my entire body. His touch ignited an indescribable feeling. It felt like I finally had him back, even though he had no memory. He was still the same man I fell in love with. As I unbuckled his belt, he slipped his tongue into my mouth.

One of his hands fisted my hair, and the other hand gripped my waist tightly. A moan escaped me as I ground my hips against his. His cock hardened.

I broke the kiss. “Ace!” I pleaded.

Ace groaned and stood up. I wrapped my legs around him. He placed me at the top of the bed. I dug my nails into his back as he trailed kisses down my neck. My patience wore thin, and I wasn’t sure of where his were coming from.

“Damn it, Ace! Fuck me already!”

A chuckle escaped him, and he ripped my thong. My eyes widened as he lowered his face to the throbbing area between my legs.

“I want to taste you first,” he groaned. I exhaled sharply. His tongue pressed to my clit, and I moaned loudly. My back arched, and my eyes rolled back. Ace’s tongue moved in quick laps. The bliss made me feel like I would explode.

How is it better than I remember? My fingers gripped onto his hair, and I pulled it. He wrapped his arms around my thighs to keep me from moving. My orgasm built. He slipped a finger inside me as his tongue moved faster.

I gripped onto the sheets and pulled them off the corners as I screamed. “Oh, fuck. Ace, that feels so good!”

The high of the orgasm didn’t fade for a long moment, probably since I hadn’t had one in so long. My chest rose and fell heavily.

He bit his lip as he knelt between my legs. “You taste so good. It’s no wonder why we have so many kids. Do you have any fucking idea how sexy you sound when you scream?” Ace licked his lips.

Before I could respond, his phone rang in his pocket.

“Ace, you better get that,” I murmured.

“No, it can wait,” he argued.

“No, what if it’s Bohai?” I pressed.

Ace sighed and pulled it from his pocket. He rolled his eyes and nodded at me. His thumb swiped the screen. “Hello?” he answered breathlessly.

A long silence followed. As much as I wished I could, I couldn’t hear the other side of the conversation.

“I can be in about fifteen minutes,” he said. He hung the phone up and looked at me. “I have to go. He’s on his way to my place.”

“Fuck,” I muttered.

Ace lowered himself over me and kissed me before he jumped off the bed to get dressed.
