FOREWORD

Have you ever wondered which beauty epitomizes magnificence in the Eyes of Man?

The Beauty of this world have for centuries adorned the eye of Men

From the Great Barrier to the love nest that is Taj Mahal

Men have searched for the key to unlock hearts of women

Their conquest often intense and fiercely possessive

The Beauty of the heavens is one that is unmatched

From the springs of fresh water that cascades into streams in a wondrous show of falls

To the beauteous snow- capped mountains and the seas that line horizons

The Beauty of the heavens have adorned the hearts of Men

Of these beauties have they drawn parallel the joys of love!

A man who loses his heart to a woman is man who has lost the right to his heart. Wouldn’t you agree? The chance to find love is inspiring as well as magical. Love can be true or it can be construed to be true. It can fade over time or increase in intensity.  Tales of true love from days of old most often than not end in tragedy as it is in this case where a fifty-something year old loses his heart to a thirty something year old woman. It was love at first sight for him the day he laid eyes on her. Written in the 1st form with him being narrative, the subject of this story talks about his love for the target of his affection in a profound manner. The poetic verses intermingled with the narrative description on his part gives an interesting variation to a love story that in the end remains unspoken.

Of a broken heart does a man die

For his story to be fulfilled

For his love is of the only kind

One that is true and in anguish makes him cry

Of a broken heart does a man die

To be with one in perhaps another time

Another time foreseen by some other Gods

Gods of Venus and Zeus combined

Mourn8220House: When first reading "Avarice," I thought it would be another fairytale but I was taken back the author's approach and choice of ending. There is little to be said for the story and overall plot besides the sudden twists and speculation, other than that I do not want to ruin a fantastic tale, you m...

Atractivo Sumit: The story is an amazing blend of what we call natural, plain romance along with subtle emotions and interesting twists. The plot is so beautifully interwoven.

Hudson: Your story was fantastic Erin! The Rising Sun was one of the first stories I read on Inkitt, and I have to say I don't regret the three to four days I spent pouring through the story.Probably the biggest strength I see in your writing is your characterisation of Eliana, Oriens, and the rest of th...

Kasey Pinney: This book had me from the beginning. I never came across a part I didn't want to read or that didn't entertain me. The characters are well developed and the internal conversations fit the book well.

GeorgeS: The author has a VERY refreshingly direct writing style. Sometimes being punched in the gut (or nose, as the case may be) can be an excellent thing, indeed. Whatever may be lacking in subtlety is more than made up for in the diamond clarity of character development. I look forward to MORE. I c...

Alex Reltin: This is a great story! I love how well you go into detail and emotions of Capri, and Mel. You have amazing dialogue and overall it's just a thrill to read! The only critique I could find is that some of the paragraphs should be separated. For example:-"If Nia would have just let me take the car an...

MelanyFrey: This story is just so realistic and so amazingly written that I felt I was a part of it. It starts off completely ordinary, describing the lives of three young brothers, then slowly shifting the focus on one of them, putting him into the spotlight and following him into this unusual, but yet so r...

Riskaninda Maharani: This story told about love between Christopher Schlösser (a German) and Anggia Selestina (an Indonesian) that happened in Düsseldorf, Germany in an autumn.
