I walked down the alley heading to shanks. I didn’t want to be here but it was necessary. I’ve been running. Everywhere. A new person. A new name. A new Identity for the past six years. I walked in and immediately went into the main office, passing all the men who were playing pool, some smoking and others drunk out of their minds.
I found Blade at his desk counting money as usual. He never smoked or drank unlike everyone here but he had tatoos covering his arms. He was ripped, definetly went to the gym. You never wanted to get on his bad side. Everyone feared and respected him. Everyone but me. He treated me like his daughter. I treated him like a dad.
“Hey Blade.” I said smiling. He made me happy just by his meer existance. He was my only family. He looked up with a scowl but when he saw me his mood instantly changed. He smiled widely.
“Hey princess.” He pulled me into a bone crushing hug. It had been eight months since i saw him. I had gotten a new identity and was living in Hongkong. I only came back cause they had found me.
“I need a new identity. They found me.” He turned serious.
“Viper! Bring it to me.” A guy around twenty brought him a box then left. He opened it then took out an new card and gave it to me.

“Nice. Thanks so much. I’ll miss you. Gotta bounce.”
“Bye Princess. Stay safe.”I covered my head as I walked the streets of Newyork invisible to the world, just how I like it. I recently dyed my hair dark brown and cut it short. It was necessary if I was going to start it new here. I looked around, a tear rolling down my cheek. This was were it began. May the twentieth on a Friday evening. The day my world fell apart.
Six years ago, I recieved a letter. This particular letter contained information. Classified, dangerous information. Now, a lot of people are after me. The Russians, Italians, French, even the portugese. I didn’t know much about this only that that day, five letters were sent out and I was one of the recievers. At the end it told me to run, hide keep myself out of sight cause if I was caught, that would be the end. Out there somewhere there were other four running. Just like me. I wanted to find them, no I needed to find them.
This isn’t a life I choose. It wasn’t the one I wanted but it’s what I got and I couldn’t change it. It’s just me and I’m all I need and that’s how going to stay until I find the other four. I have never liked following rules. All but one. The one that keeps me alive. The one given to me six years ago.
Never stop running.
