𝘖𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘢 It started as a game. A game designed to make my lying, cheating ex jealous. It was supposed to end at the bar. But the game turned into a sleepover and the sleepover turned into a friendship and the more time I spend with him, the more I find that beneath that gorgeous but cocky exterior is the perfect man who cares deeply, loves hard and in his own way, needs saving. My ice-cold heart is melting, my once impenetrable armour is breaking. I want him, all of him, but I can't have him. There's a monster that lurks in the shadows of my life. If he finds the darkness inside, he'll leave forever. 𝘑𝘢𝘤𝘰𝘣 I moved to the city for a fresh start, a retrieve from the stresses back home. This is supposed to be my fresh start, a clean slate. I can fix the mistakes of my past and live a little easier. But then I met a hurricane of a blonde who knocked me on my ass and had me questioning everything I thought I knew. I know I shouldn't let this attraction to a stranger derail me from my plans but the longer she stays in my head, I find myself desperate to unlock her secrets. She thinks she's the dark. She thinks I'll run, but what she doesn't realise is that she’s my light.
